Love this store, but your deli personnel need to know we can hear them and see their body language. Young man, dark hair, slim and early 20s maybe. Your job is in customer service so you should give just that. Be kinder and have some patience with your customers. If you dont like your job, find another. This company is amazing and you are not helping them when you dont care.

I love Albertsons the employees are wonderful hard working people. I just wish the company would do better by their workers. Really upsets me to hear how they are being poorly treated.

I havent lived in the area very long, but have only one complaint... how DARE they card me at almost 50! 😄Unless on a clearance sale, stock is promptly refilled and the staff is super friendly and helpful. For instance Id like to point out Dalton, a young man who went beyond his duties to facilitate me and engage in delightful conversation. Everyone employed here is kind, the selection is plentiful and ease of shopping is top rate.If anyone has complaints, they may want to check their expectations of a neighborhood market.

It’s so weird they don’t ask for ID, when you come and pick up your medicine, other than that, the place is really clean, fast check out.

I am very happy with this location. The staff here has never once been rude to me or my family. Whenever I go to the deli section, service is always prompt and polite. At the Starbucks counter, Rory is one of the sweetest employees I have ever had the joy of interacting with. Alessandra is another solid team member. You wont be disappointed with the service here!

Won 419 dollars fantasy five took ticket to store cashier said store didnt have money to cash, it was 12 in the afternoon registers were full. This is why if I see someone being mugged i wont help this is why if u have flat on dessert hwy I wont stop to help this is why if u drop wallet in front of me I wont tell u this is America now lazy uncaring unconsiderate not willing to do the rite thing. Not Clean, Over Priced Store, Employees Unknowledgeable but not their fault for being so young. Would be great if store employees dressed like we were entering a professional establishment. Thats what happens when they worry more about profit than a customer....

This Albertsons is actually well thought out its in the heart of downtown San Diego. It offers underground parking and right when you walk in its very well kept clean and within walking distance of the orange line trolly station, so you have public trans. options as well and has everything you would find at any other Albertans in any other neighborhood so I deff. Vivian Andrews is the best!!! She works super hard and is always super nice to my dad and I. If you have a good deli experience at the Albertsons here, it was probably because she was helping you!

Very well stocked 99% of the time. This is why Albertsons is my go to for fast, efficient grocery trips. I always stroll through the bakery area to feast my eyes on the sugary, fatty creations, even if I dont buy any. Every once in a while they even sell excess frosting in little tubs. Tip: keep a plastic spoon in your glovebox to secretly consume the frosting before you even get home!

How does one rate a grocery store when you were there primarily to use the bathroom? Bathroom was clean. It got super busy at one point. Got the wannabe competitor to Chick-fil-A and Popeyes chicken sandwich. It needing more sauce would be my only critique

They almost have what Im looking for & the pharmacy inside makes my life a lot easier. They definitely have a better selection of vegetarian options to choose from.

Got some sweet deals in the clearance section! Only thing is, theyve got some things in the clearance without price tags and I was going to ask how much they cost but they rung them up and I didnt get my chance. No idea what I even paid for a couple things. Another time I made it home with cottage cheese (which I havent had since preschool iirc), somehow it got in with my stuff and was on the receipt/paid for AND somehow I put it in my CAR without noticing till I was unpacking it at home. I mentioned it on my next trip, and the checker was less than interested. However everyone has been friendly and had a good attitude otherwise. Oh and they had the Rockstar Organic Energy Drink on sale for get this.... 99cents! ★! I bought the whole shelf!

I love Albertsons but the ladies in the bakery seems rude, I asked for a simple cake and yet they refuse to do a simple cake that I wanted, took them some time to finally agreed with me. I’ve always order my kids birthday cakes but looks like I’m not coming back for any other orders, Plus I didn’t even bother to order cupcakes. I’ll get the cake this time but it’s going to be the last time.

Its great how clean they have kept this Albertsons. In my opinion it has one of the better parking layouts too. Theres always a spot somewhere even during holidays.This is one of my preferred grocery stores.John( if thats how he spells it) who works at the deli is incredibly helpful too!

Overall well kept and clean. Staff at self checkout was helpful. A few annoying LP measures in place because of location (locked restroom, bags not available without staff at self checkout), but overall good experience.

So far the Albertsons has had great customer service.

Really good grocery store, Alessandra is literally amazing, well stocked on items, and also love the self checkouts. But I do have to dock a star due to the fact now there are flags on some motorized carts which means you can’t take them outside anymore.

Seems like a nice place, the products are pretty standard and the employees were cordial for early on a Sunday morning. But, half of the employees had their masks below their noses. Not that big a deal, I guess, but still bothersome.

Needed to do major food shopping and was able to get 95% of my list done. Well stocked with fruits and vegetables, meat counter had plenty of options. Yes a little more $$, but able to get 7 bags of necessities home for at least 5 days.

Albertsons has gotten better since the beginning of the pandemic. More deals to help out our food budget. Just remember that these stores are best incorporated into your meal planning. They are not a great place for stocking the pantry. And always plan your trip to maximize your savings by trying to get between 30% and 50% at checkout. My favorites here is the deli and the butcher. I usually have to buy hamburger here because other stores sometimes have those hard bits in their grind. The deli has incredible Signature Select meats like mesquite smoked turkey and ham off the bone. They have great chicken tenders and my favorite wedge fries (for those who miss KFC wedges), and these wonderful pasta salads. Lastly, I have been a fan of Lucerne cheeses for over 40 years. They taste better and they last longer in the fridge.

I am not sure what is going on everywhere, but customer service has gone way downhill. Just flat out rude.

Its very busy most times. Its a nice clean store and great parking lot. Has a great selection of just about everything. Has a US bank. FLOWERS KIOSK. Star Bucks. Staff seems friendly and helpful.

A year into the pandemic and still there is no enforcement of the mask rule, even the security guard at night wanders around maskless, several of the employees stocking mostly wander around either maskless or their masks below their chin. No enforcement of the social distancing rules, why even have the stickers up. Only one to two registers open and no self check-out open at night, ridiculous when you think of how high priced their groceries are, Id expect this from Walmart which is why I stopped going to Walmart during the pandemic

Was a nice shopping experience. Found everything I went for. Store was clean, carts were sprayed. Shelves were stocked. Lady in deli was very helpful to find a special salami I needed.

This store has a little bit of everything and nice employees. If they dont have what you want Im sure if you asked they would order it for you.

Always a hot mess when we come in here. Literally the worst self checkouts I have ever experienced and the most random things (like Red Bull) are locked up, the staff usually make you feel like criminals constantly eyeing you down waiting for you to steal.

Ideal place to shop. From flowers to kitchen wares to abundance of meat and produce. Plus so close to neighborhoods to handle their wants and needs. Happy shoppers.

Good quality but very pricy products😒But if I am there the only best think I would rush to buy is Chobani Greek Yogurt Coconut blended which is so Yummy (of course if you like coconut)!!!! and sugar snap peas🙃🙂There is also a deal for Friday’s which is buying two fried chickens for only $5

Oct 2021 -- Delta ravages East Co where most of unvaxxed live and store personnel mockingly wear masks over mouth with nose completely exposed! Disgraceful.-------Back after store opened again July 2021 -- Decent prices, good quality. HOWEVER- some of their produce specials will have a BIG sign that says 99 cents for Whatever and in teensy itty print- so small even a Lawyer would have a hard time reading it, it says a pound! No longer such a great deal... --even their staff admitted to me they have had many ploblems with customers over this issue.======== 2019 ========Darn store is wonderfully well supplied, however it is so large that unless you frequent it- you will be lost!And there is no store plan available as is true in the larger Vons... Good value, better prices than closer to the City center.

Their cashiers are very good but the size of their bakery cakes and pies have shrunk down to half the height they were before bc of SUCCUBI in the area telling them what to do, calling themselves operatives and Queen Mothers. Every grocery store is having these same problems. They come in having made themselves invisible with bacteria to contaminate the food and their mop bucket water with their infectious urine. I was actually assaulted inside the store by one & everybody saw it & nobody said one word to me.

Clean store. Has pretty much anything and everything you might need to make great meals. There is a self check isle too. That is so very helpful. The paper bags with handles are awesome.

My favorite place to shop. Between the 4U deals, the weekly specials and the selection in the store I can shop economically with great choices. The staff is always really helpful and the store is always clean and never overcrowded with employees trying to restock the shelves.

The main store I go to.

Stood in line for the deli this morning and got ignored. Someone else walks up and they immediately serve him. I left, will be spending my money elsewhere and won’t be coming back. To bad that is the closest store to my house because I went just for convenience. Never again.
