The eclairs here are the best! The chocolate icing was nice and rich. The creamy filling was cool save refreshing, which might seem like they just thawed them, but the pastry didnt have that texture at all. Ill have to come back to try out the other pastries.
Absolutely the best coffee in the Midwest, if not the entire country. Their vanilla lattes are made from REAL vanilla beans rather than imitation syrup. The bakery items are always fresh, wholesome and very tasty. I havent found a better scone anywhere.
The bouchon and kouign amann are the best! We love the espresso beverages, especially with a oat milk.
We heard great reviews about Rustica and decided to stop here for some coffee and eats on a cold day. The coffee was great and everything tasted ok but it sucks they don’t have the option of warming up a croissant for people who choose to eat it that way. There isn’t a microwave or an option to reheat your coffee either which is very unfortunate because things happen and coffees get cold and no one likes a coffee that has turned cold!
Great bakery! Flavor, consistency-wise. Everything is great. Youll find every holiday related treats. Old school customer service, theyll take their time to make sure everything is securely packed. They also give instructions about items like if they need refrigeration, etc.
Amazing and all natural pumpkin spice latte and such sweet and energetic staff. Great atmosphere too- love this place!
The Koughn Ammans are amazing.Nor sure if I spelled that right.
People must be giving five stars for pretension. I don’t need to be lectured about how croissants are supposed to be eaten cold. I’d simply like a warm croissant on an unusually chilly day.As published in The Guardian,“A cold croissant is lifeless and stodgy, a literal and metaphorical pale imitation of its heated cousin. In order to reveal its flaky, buttery charms, in order to ensure maximum contrast between that crisp shell and its soft, pillowing inner folds, a croissant needs warming through. It needs some colour in its cheeks.”
Its always hard to just choose one pastry when Im here...though, who said I have to?! Cinnamon bun- flaky on the outside, soft on the inside. Banana bread- dense and delicious with a lovely crumble. Chocolate chip cookies- perfectly crisp around the edges and chewy gooey insides. Everything is just so dang good. They also have assorted hot coffee drinks, cold pressed coffee, kombucha, and my personal favorite, Jinx tea on tap!
Absolutely beyond everyday eating. Artisan bread that takes 36 hours to make. Some bread is sugar & shortening free. Take home meals to bake yourself. Prize winning cookies and bread & also delicious Kringles. Lots of coffee. Frozen cakes that look like the birthday person wont want to share! They get 10 stars from me.
Very happy with this coffee shop. The staff are very kind, everything is clean, and there are more than enough tables for folks to sit at. The ambiance is calm and quiet enough even if you wear headphones.
I love this place. The ham and cheese croissants are the best! Love the almond danish, and I cant forget the olive loaf, SO good. The bittersweet chocolate cookies are absolutely decadent, melt in your mouth chocolate goodness. The coffee is awesome and the coffee drinks are too, plus its fun to watch them being made. Everyone is super nice, always friendly, its a great way to start the day, grab lunch or for an afternoon break!
Been to both locations and it’s a pretty cool place to get coffee, munchies, conversations and also some work done as well.
Amazing coffee and bread..can never go wrong with the sour dough. There is also a collection of kombucha and tea on tap
Nice coffe place
The best bread!!! The pastries are very good. And there is coffee.
Did NOT go to RUSTICA BAKERY ...Ever ‼️
Excellent quality espresso drinks, pastries, and bread. Not many places in the twin cities pour a latte as well as you’ll find here.
Jury is still out on how to pronounce this oneslammin coffee tho
The two ladies working were so helpful in picking out my pastry and drink. The vanilla eclair was delicious! Will definitely be back!
Great coffee and delicious bakery goods. The server and batista were kind and helpful. I will return for another great experience.
A nice cafe with very good coffee and pastries.Their offering was more limited than I expected - breads, pastries and a few lunch items - but from what I saw everything looked nice.
You need more employees working. Having one person on a Saturday afternoon during the holiday shopping season seems more than a little short sighted. I’m a fan of your other location, but waiting for 12 minutes to place an order as one of three customers inside (two of which had already ordered when I arrived) seems excessive.
This location has a top notch barista and the pastries are fantastic. I’ve never had a bad experience here and it has become my go to spot for studying.
Highly overrated. Maybe it is just the effects of COVID, but selection was very limited, prices were high for underwhelming food. They ran out of lettuce for the chicken salad sandwiches, which were very salty.
Love that they opened a second location. This place is legit! Everything is great!
Excellent fare, but expensive.
One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had.
Best mocha I have ever had. Ever.
I like this location as a place to rest in the middle of shopping at the mall. Very clean restaurant with covid precautions. Is a bit spendy on price, but since its a small operation with 2 locations definitely worth patronizing and keeping them open. Really food pour over coffee, sandwiches and pastries along with bread and other baked goodies. If I didnt have to watch my calories is have gone bonkers and ordered four goodies as I could not decide! Will go back again.
Very limited stuff
Great coffee ☕️
Great bread, pastries, and coffee served by friendly people.
Good coffee! Pastries too.
Excellent banana bread.
