I upgraded my phone from this location - All the staff was extremely helpful and polite. Our sales rep Kelly was fantastic - she had lots of patience in working with me helping me get everything ordered and walked me through what I would need to do when then phone was delivered to my door. That process was fantastic I left the store and within 3 hours I had my new phone delivered to my doorstep!
I went in to upgrade my phone, the sales rep Kelly was absolutely fantastic! She made sure everything on my account was in order and that I was signed up to receive the best discount based on my employer. I highly recommend visiting this store.

I visited the Southdale AT&T store today to possibly look for an Apple 12 iPhone. Still have a flip so this would be very new to me and Samuel helped me and I cant say enough about him. Joshua Wilbur was our AT&T representative for the day and we were blown away with the service. We had a bit of a situation with our current service: looking to switch plans, adding 2 lines to a total of 7 (1 previously with sprint, 1 with AT&T). Joshua, not only straightened everything out and made the process super easy, but he did it graciously and made the process enjoyable. Overall, Josh is an extremely service orientated and knowledgeable employee. I will recommend the Southdale store to my family and friends and make sure they talk to Josh!!

My daughters phone completely died the week of her birthday and we thought there was nothing that could’ve been done to remedy the situation. She was bummed as she wanted to take pictures all weekend during the events we had planned. After working Zach, one of the managers, and him partnering with his team, they went above and beyond to help us out. Zach delivered exceptional service and made getting a replacement phone for my daughter memorable. He wished her a happy birthday and was completely genuine during our visit. We have been AT&T customers for almost 25 years and recently signed up for AT&T tv this month. My wife and I will be in the market for new phones in the coming months and we are looking forward to returning to the Southdale store and working with Zach and his team. It was the beat experience I have had at a store and they finally where able to fix my phone when I have been dealing with for 5 months and they were able to fix it. Such am amazing reps. Dakota and Josh were very intelligent in the process and very helpful and kind as well as patient! So thankful!
Went to this location even though the reviews werent very good especially about Dakota (manager), but still went because we live very close by. Went to return a phone due to online sent the wrong phone. Dakota assisted and instead of just working on the returned phone, he asked about my husband business phone line which I replied that I didnt want any changes to that line. After he figured out on how to do a returned (which shouldve been an easy process), 30 minutes later, I left the store thinking that the customer service there was pretty bad and wont go back again. Within 10 minutes leaving the store, my husband told me that his (business) cell phone line got turned off. I immediately went back to the store to see what Dakota did to my husbands phone line. When I got to the store (again), another manager approached me which I replied that I was just there and I wanted to talk to Dakota because he disconnected our other line. That manager said that Dakota left. Then when I pressured him to get hold of Dakota, he said that Dakota was making a call. I told him of what happened which his response was whatever and greeted other customers. I then noticed that Dakota was assisting another customer. I approached him and told him that you disconnected our business line which his response was I dont know what youre talking about. I was persistent to get the disconnected line back on because that was our business line. Of course Dakota said that he didnt know what went wrong and gave me a new SIM card to use. I told him that how do I know that this SIM will work and I wanted his cell phone number in case the SIM didnt work. We installed the new SIM card and of course it didnt work. So I called his cell to let him know that, but Dakota gave me a wrong phone number! Unbelievable! WILL NEVER USE THIS STORE FOR ANYTHING. Both managers really didnt care about customers and most likely hate working there. The only reason I gave 1 Star was because to write an review, you have to pick a star. Otherwise, it wouldve been zero star.
I went in to transfer two lines to ATT. After over an hour of issues, and very clearly stating I did not want a “651” area code, I was told we had both numbers starting with “763” area codes (and told “612” was not available which seems unbelievable). When we got home to activate the phones, we discovered one number was NOT the number the rep told us but was instead a number that starts with “651,” the precise code I had repeatedly told them I did not want. The rep either made a terrible mistake (and did not catch it!) or flat out lied to me about the assigned phone number. The manager, while nice and helpful, clearly should have stepped in much earlier in the transaction and have better trained staff.

My mom and I went in to get me a new phone. Dakota talked us into doing there BOGO promotion so my mom could get a new phone too. He assured us multiple times that it would not cost us anymore monthly then we were currently paying. Now my mom is stuck with a $45 higher cellphone bill every month that she can’t afford. As soon as our contract is up we will never use this cellphone company again.
Walked in for service. Was promptly greeted by the manager but then the manager and a second employee did not help customers as the other “sales associates” helped customers. She told me that she was he manager and just coordinated the service making sure that everything went well. That may be all and good. But it looks pretty bad as a customer who wants to get service and you guys are just hanging out. I left after waiting 15 minutes because I had other things to do. May be a great store. Just needs a little guidance.

Had a fantastic experience at this AT&T location. All of the employees were kind and knowledgeable about their products the services they offer. I went in, got what I needed done correctly and quickly, and left without a fuss.

Staff member Ashley lied and switched my plan, all while deactivating my phone. This employee is a model of what an employee shouldnt be. Told me how much money she made (17$ an hour) and was just purely unprofessional. Will be switching to Verizon today after 13 years of AT&T service.If you go to this location, avoid Ashley like the plague.
I am not an AT&T customer however my grandmother is. She was very frustrated with her tablet not working properly and had been trying to get it resolved over the phone for many weeks. She went into this store and everyone that helped her was very kind, friendly and most importantly patient. They took the time to explain things to her that younger generations take advantage of having the knowledge to know how to do (for example download apps). I appreciate the team taking good care of her and for this reason I will be sure to recommend anyone with AT&T to this location.
Ive always found this store to be helpful. When Ive gone in Ive noticed it can tend to be VERY busy with wait times (usually the lunch and after work hours) but staff always seems to be doing the best they can (keeping in mind that some transactions can simply take a while with people changing phone plans and selecting new phones).Ive also noticed while in there, and having worked retail myself, that there seemed to be an all hands on deck approach which might explain why other people are posting about not being able to reach them on the phone. It means theyre all busy helping people! Maybe if folks bothered to walk in theyd see that.
Clearly AT&T does not read these reviews. The store is kind of a dump. I have not been in there in a long time so when I asked my less than happy to help anyone sales person when the remodel happened he asked When was the last time you were here? In a tone that suggested that I was a deadbeat for not being in there on an almost monthly basis.This was a simple purchase to get my 82 year old mother a new iPhone as she dropped hers in the toilet. Ryan (the less than happy chappy) was pretty much bothered because I asked him for a new iPhone SE and wanted to use my upgrade for that one.I declined the 64GB phone for a 16GB iPhone (shes 82. She plays solitaire all day and watches CNN.) He told me where to sit while he went and got it.Rang me up said thanks and then walked away. Didnt even give me a receipt. Sure hope the iPhone SE doesnt break. I can honestly say, I wish I had switched to Verizon.

Jeremiah was a huge help with my employees phone. We have a small company with 8 lines and I find the onsite help at the Southdale store very convenient and helpful. We do most of our upgrades and new phone purchases at this location.

Liars, bold faced liars. They lied to us about the cost of upgrading to the unlimited data plan, they neglected to tell us that our account discount didn’t apply to the new plan, and they didn’t back date or future date our change to the new data plan (so we ended up paying for both data plans for a month). They were deceitful with the coverage of their insurance plans, they didn’t tell us about the deductible, or the tax implications if we had broken/lost a phone.Stay as far away from this store as possible. Nothing against AT&T, but this store is horrible.

Every time I go in this place, its a mass of disrespect and rudeness. Im consistently talked down to, or my choice of product demeaned. This is the worst ATT location in the cities, consistently. I regret every visit. Try the Uptown or Mall of America stores instead - much better service, and better informed staff as well.
This store has caused me such a stressful time. Went in to set up lines and went through most of the process until it was payment time and I only had cash on me and they would only accept a credit card.so I told them Id come back another day.now a few months later Im getting Bills and debt collectors telling me I owe them money for a service I never received from them.tried calling the store witch routes me to there central customer service line and Im told I have to go back into the store to resolve this... the store is a few citys away and I have no vehicle now.beyond mad and wouldnt recommend this store because they essentially are stealing from me. Bad decision on at&t end to not allow customers to call a store directly...

Trying to reach the store by the phone and they never answer Ive tried all day and they never answer. I went to them for a line add Fira new A iPad Pro from the Apple Store I was going to buy. They Said they have have it there & I could get it on the AT&T next plan. I thought that was a great plan so I went to head and bought it but they said they had to order it. When I got the receipt, realize they didnt order me the new iPad Pro but ordered the old iPad Pro .So Ive been trying them all day today and no one to answer. So now I have to go back to the store and return it which for them to charge me a restocking fee for their misrepresentation. Dont trust the employees there because they say they have the new products but then they sell you the older ones. Thats lying.
This store NEVERRRRRR answers the phone.. Myself and a friend have literally called millions of times on several different occasions. I even called the mall number and they gave me the same number to the store that is online. They do not pick up the phone whatsoever. Its ridiculous and VERY unprofessional. I also went in this store about 2 days ago and bought a prepaid phone which they said was brand new and has never been used but there is no way that is true seeing as though the phone was COMPLETELY dead upon purchase and the battery life lasts about 30 min. I have been trying to call them to tell them and advise that I will need a BRAND NEW one when I can come back in but like I said they never answer the phone. I will be going to a different AT&T store and hope that they will exchange my phone for an actual brand new one like I was promised.
