This Midas in Easton is great. I request something specific for an alignment, and they have no issue providing the service I need. There is no problem calling for an appointment, and it helps they are open on Saturdays.

I brought my car in for an alignment, and inspection. When I got my vehicle home I noticed that the side skirt wasn’t fastened to the vehicle which was weird but the car was immaculate when I dropped it off. I contacted the manager and he then told me that he needed to contact corporate. After a month of calling I finally got an answer that they weren’t going to repair it

My car heat Shield broke on my car pulled in there and they took care of me with the best of care. Right away. Ill be doing my Business there from now on. 😁👍 so happy with the job.

I had never been to this establishment previously, and we thought we would stop in on our way past. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. They were about to have a large reservation only party, but sat us down right away and took care of the family. Food was tasty. I had chicken pot pie, could have used a little more gravy but the flavor was there. Wife had steak sandwich, she said it was tender and delicious. We will go again.

I went to midas in Easton PA to get my breaks checked they said I needed rear breaks padsand rotors. the cost for repairs was $1200.00 us dollars. But all of the sudden they said my radiator was leaking and the cost for repair was $2500. I want someplace else for a second opinion and they said theres nothing wrong with my radiator and the cost for new front and rear brakes pads and rotors was $575..including taxes. Midas of Easton PA are crooks they will rop you blind.

Refused to change oil in my car. They said I needed to replace my engine and gave me quotes. Sold it to my fathers friend and he just patched a pinhole in the radiator and it runs fine.

They inspected and passed my 1993 classic car 1n 2915 and in 2019 they are going to let me know that the stickers are illegal, the one fog lamp that doesnt work and not connected to any power source is illegal, and please note that these were all on the car when I migrated from New Jersey.Wait, I also had on close to midnight tint then and they passed in 2015.Im sure the PA State laws have not changed.One 🌟

Brought my car here for new tires after a blowout, replaced all 4 tires and due to the timing I could not pick up my vehicle until the next morning. Next morning I go to pick up my vehicle and the radio screen doesnt turn on, so I go to talk to them about it and they said that the battery died over night, theyblamed it on the cold weather and told me they jumped the car to get it started. Then proceeded to tell me that I needed to replace the battery (which was less than 6 months old) and then told me they could troubleshoot the radio screen for the cost of labor. Will never bring my car back and would advise to be cautious to whoevers brings their vehicle here. Car sat for 1.5 weeks and started on first crank, meaning the battery didnt die due to the cold.

The guys here are generally friendly but also very shady.My first experience here I brought it in for state inspection, they failed me for some issue with a ball joint and wanted almost $400 to fix it. After having my family mechanic look at it and a close friend who also works on cars they both determined there wasnt anything actually wrong with it. Proceeded to take it elsewhere and it passed without any issue.Against my better judgement based on my last experience, I brought it back here for a simple oil change. Towards the end of the oil change I was brought into the workshop to look at my vehicle which they then showed me all sorts of different things that were wrong with it or safety concerns and then offered to fix these issues for a pretty heavy fee. I work in sales so I understand the idea behind this, but I didnt ask for my vehicle to be reviewed and picked apart.Upon leaving after this oil change I noticed my car was running a lot different than it was before I brought it in, very rough idle specifically. Brought it home and popped the hood, low and behold my oil cap was not on and completely missing from my vehicle. I found the oil cap but it wasnt easy to retrieve. I brought it back to them, they cleaned and wiped the oil from the inside of my vehicle and topped it off. They also gave me a coupon for a free oil change for my next visit but quite frankly I refuse to give them another chance.Im personally not extremely car savvy so I bring my vehicle to a place like this and expect top notch service from certified experts because I cannot do these things myself . However this place lost my trust completely. Appreciate the coupon but will not be returning.

Really good car service and quick turn around time. Staff is friendly and professional. Only 4 stars because their pricing isnt as affordable as some other places. I still use Midas because I like the service, but more affordable pricing would be nice. With coupons, their costs are very reasonable.

Went in for oil change, had to return as my car begin to smoke- it still does not drive the same.

Pretty bad, I will never come back. I went back to the dealer and they fixed my problem without questioning. Simple alignment and tire rotation and I was told I had to replace all 4 tires in a 15k miles car. Dealer is more expensive but sometimes it is worth.

Midas is a place were it is done correct the first time. The techs are passionate about the work they put out there and the safety of its customers.

This is the slowest and least considerate mechanic I’ve been to in PA. Most recently (though have multiple examples) I had a 10am appointment for new tires (had them delivered to Midas ahead of time). They didn’t START my car until 4:30, and had me there well past “closing.” They simply don’t care about their customer’s time. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

It looks like there is new management here. They seem to be genuinely interested in customer satisfaction and providing a friendly and personable experience. Solid repair work at a fair price. Highly recommended!

They will get the job done but expect to overpay big time. They will exaggerate on any issues your vehicle will have. Please do yourself and get a couple of other quotes before making a decision. Other places quoted me on parts for less than a quarter of the price here. Good staff and services but way overpriced.

Workmanship was fantastic. Great customer service. Sent me pictures of other worn parts and gave me the option to repair or not. Not pushy. Fair pricing and the turn around time was amazing. Had an entire exhaust system replaced with manifold with broken bolts. Got the truck back in less than 8 hours after I dropped it off. Couldnt have been happier. Thanks guys!

They walked me through everything needed for my car. Later I found my oil filter was loose. It wasnt an issue but it was suggested to check for an oil leak by MIDAS for $60! At 18 I won an award from Shell Corp for front end work. I think Midas should check the expertise of their customers.

I’ve had several issues with this location and I only come back because it’s closest to my house. After today, I won’t be. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 9am. I get there early, knowing it may be a few min before they take my car in, 35 min AFTER my scheduled appointment I ask the woman when my car will be taken in and she said any minute. 10 min go by it’s still not and I call another location that will take my car right away and let her know I’ll be taking it somewhere else, she says to me oh your appointment was for 9:30 not 9. I said no it wasn’t I even said I’m here for a 9am appointment and she said okay. After 5 min she says oh your car is in there, it’s been in there. No it hasn’t! They brought it in 2 min before speaking to her while I was on the phone with another location. I will NEVER come back to this location. Can’t take responsibility for their mess up.

It is very overpriced. Good service, friendly staff, oem replacement parts, skilled mechanics, fast service. Just as costly as a dealership, Id rather take to a dealer mechanics shop, better warranty.

Had an outstanding experience with Ian the new Manager and the rest of the staff at Midas today - He was informative, helpful, understanding and educated me in some things that needed to be worked on with my car. I highly recommend Ian and his staff at this Midas location!

Not a big place small neighborhood for quick repair and state inspection.

Please do not go here. I spent $1000 to get work done on my ballast box inside my light they gave me a one-year warranty on the work and two weeks later it broke when I took it back to them they will not honor the one-year warranty and told me that I would have to spend another thousand dollars to get it fixed. I was out raged contacted customer service and customer service told me that they are a sole franchise so they would not be able to do anything about it absolute terrible workmanship and customer service please save yourself a lot of money and do not come here!

Went to Midas located at, 2914 Wm. Penn Hwy, Easton PA. My wife wanted to go to Midas because of their advertising and a coupon she received. My wife received a coupon for a free PA state inspection at Midas through our AAA membership. After dropping the car off, we learned that the free inspection cost more than $50. After inspecting the car, Midas tech claimed that we needed lower control arms b/c the control arm RUBBER bushing flexed slightly. When asked how much flex was OK: Midas finally acknowledged that up to 0.250 was within specifications (our car hardly had any flex). I then asked them to show me how they measured the flex. The Midas tech responded with: they dont make machines to measure that specification. In the end we went to another garage and paid them for the PA state inspection.Conclusion: NEVER go to Midas, 2914 Wm. Penn Hwy, Easton PA for car service.

Would never recommend anyone to this place. Although those at the counter are nice, the service provided is poor! Had new tires put on (because they were cheaper than the dealership), my rims are now scratched up! The few bucks saved for tires by going there is now costing more to get new rims for my vehicle! When I called to inform the place, they assured they’d pass the information along to the regional (I believe) manager. I have pictures as well as Ian took pictures. The mechanic says my rims were messed up. Although Ian saw for himself fresh scraps himself! Please please please, save yourself the headache and more money... STAY AWAY!

Horrible experience ! They take advantage of women. I went in to get tires mounted. I didn’t ask For them to check my vehicle. Came up with a huge bill of $800. Check engine light wasn’t on. It came on when I left.

I was on a roadtrip and got a flat tire. They had appointments all day but made time to get my car repaired and make sure everything was in good shape so i wouldnt have any other issues on the rest of my 9 hour drive. The staff was very knowledgeable and explained to me what needed to be done immediately and other issues that i could put off until i got back home and even told me about how many miles until i would need repairs. I had a very good experience with this shop and they made a very unfortunate situation a lot easier to get through.

Called and spoked to Ian about getting a muffler tip welded on. He was very nice on the phone and in person. (Very professional) when it went into the shop... tech lifted it by the pinch welds and messed the side skirts up. Also, the tech said that the muffler tip wasnt the right size for the piping. I knew that wasnt true because Im a tech myself... I just dont do welding. They also said it was going to be hard because it was stainless steel... make a long story short; I went to Monro and they did it in like 8 mins. And, the tip was the same size as the piping like I stated. Lost a job and a customer.

Horrible place to do service!!!! Car was on a lift for two hours for a state inspection yet didnt passed. they thold me that my rotors were warped and to fix this i would need to spend over a thousnd dollars when i told them i dont want to change it they become rude and overtitend my wheel lugs. This Midas does not follow all PA State Inspection standards and MAY NOT pass vehicles that do meet State regulations, as per my familys experience over about 5 years. Be warned.That being said, for a few years our family has brought our vehicles to this Midas for our state inspections and emissions tests. Every time we come in for a simple service or inspection, they seem to find something wrong with each and every vehicle. For instance, they provide a free courtesy check of your cars vitals, like brake pad wear, battery charge, etc... with every service, such as oil changes. On one occasion a few months ago, we were told during the oil change and courtesy check that the brake pads were cracked and should be replaced very soon (note; this same Midas had JUST changed the brake pads about 6 months earlier) and that the battery was not holding a good charge. Come this inspection, brakes had passed with flying colors, a year later.Most recently, what would have been $1400 worth of repairs on components that had failed inspection was absolutely passable at another garage under accurate PA State inspection standards.Save yourself the time, hassle, and the money, especially since State Inspections are billed full price, PASS OR FAIL. Find any other local garage for your inspections and service.If you take anything out of this advice, IF you are told that your car will require $250 or more in any service or maintenance, GET A SECOND LOOK from another garage, specifically a local, non-chain, garage.

Never will go here again, tried to rip me off, went to get my car inspected took them 1hr 30 mins, to make something up, but said they will leave it go this time, took my car so none else an even should me that there was nothing wrong.

Took over 2 hours for inspection and oil change of my jeep with less than 20K miles. Even though I was exempt from emissions, I was still charged more for emissions on my jeep than I am charged at Knopf Porsche for emissions on my Porsche.I saw the degenerate that was doing my inspection standing under my car which was on the lift . He was apparently having difficulty getting the tire off of the jeep and I saw him try to kick the tire/rim off of the vehicle from behind. I mentioned that he will scratch the rim if the tire falls and bounces on the ground. Apparently my observation wasnt appreciated because I was warned shortly thereafter that there was a possibility that I had to purchase new rotors for $300 if the $30 adjustment didnt correct an issue with the emergency brake in order for my nearly new jeep to pass inspection. The man working behind the counter had his lower lip overfilled with tobacco and black gook in every crevice of his teeth.What was supposed to be easier and time saving and less stressful, ended up being one of the worst services ever. Never again will I go to Midas muffler. Unprofessional, gross, and dishonest.

Whoever changed my oil stripped my oil drain bolt ended up costing me $19.99 for sockets to remove bolt and 4.95 for the bolt. Only other people who changed my oil were the dealership who constantly had to do it for free and wouldnt find a need to cost themselves more money down the line.

Never go there. I took my car due to steering wheel noise and they said it would cost approx $700 to fix. after some thought i agreed to pay considering the fact that they are the professionals. Later on i got a call and they informed me that my brake line is leaking and should be replaced and it would cost an additional $100. I agreed thinking i should not compromise with brake safety. One week after the repair I started getting the same noise on my steering wheel. Took my car back to Midas. They checked and this time said there is another leak in the rack and the replacement cost would be probably $1200!! I decided not to proceed with the repair and came back. So my problem is not at all solved and I am lighter $800!! Can you imagine? Now starting yesterday, my car wont shift from parking to Drive. I checked in the internet and people say its mostly because of faulty brake. I suspect this also has something to do with the messy repair they did on my brake line. Please do not go to this shop.

I had an appointment today to have the oil changed in my Impala using the $24.99 synthetic oil change special, and when my wife arrived with the car, she was told instead of $24.99 she would have to pay $59.99 for Dexos specifically, instead. When she told them that the requirement is only synthetic blend (and the factory warrenty is expired anyway), Dexos or better, that the synthetic blend oil change would be fine, they refused to do the oil change unless she agreed to pay more than double the agreed upon price. Furthermore, every time I have taken my car there for an inspection they give me a lit of about $1,000 of repairs that really need to be done right away, but it will pass inspection. My father, father-in-law, and four siblings are all mechanics, and I myself have degrees in both engineering and physics - I know when a mechanic is trying to scam me. These people are crooks, dont waste your time with them. Ill just pay the extra few dollars at Brown-Daub from now on.

Went there for a simple oil change. Three days later leaks everywhere! Oil was leaking from the filter and antifreeze from the front. Went back to get answers was told it was the gasket by the oil filter. Manager Shane Gallagher was completely unprofessional. Ask him to repair what his workers CLEARLY damaged and he blatantly refused as did the franchise owner. WILL BE TAKING THIS TO THE CORPORATE! GO TO THIS MIDAS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU!

I went in to get my alignment done(on my daughters car)and I just had the tire rods done and know I needed the passenger side ball joint replaced and told them that-so after they said they fixed the alignment on the car it was worse-so I took my car to another repair place-to find out that they cracked both front axles and was told they as so called experts they say they are-they should have never let me drive the car off their lot-it was to dangerous-so after paying $135.13 to them to break my axles and pay an other $600.00 plus to fix them Stay away from them.

One of the mechanics used an impact drill on my husbands center cap on his rim and put stress cracks on it and they had to replace it for him... then he had to take the same tire off and they had cross threaded the lugnut onto the stud and the stud snapped and now they have to replace the stud. Bad shorty work. He will not be going there ever again.
