We rented a tuxedo for my sons prom and it couldn’t have gone better. The tux was perfect. The price was very reasonable. Pick up and return goes smoothly. Bill saves the day!!! After horrible customer service from another location where we had purchased 12 suits from, I called East Northport’s location on a prayer that they would have the 4 belts I needed for our upcoming wedding (9 days). Unfortunately they did not have the color I needed but Bill was able to locate and even went to get the belts for me from a third location! As a stressed out bride, and someone who has worked in customer service I truly appreciated his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for a customer he had never even dealt with. Cheers to Bill, all of our groomsmen now match!

I would have given 5 stars after my first experience with Cathy, but after interacting with Bill, I would give 0 stars if I could. I went to pick up a tailored jacket 2 weeks after dropping it off, and one of the sleeves was significantly shorter than the other. I noticed it right away and Bill came over huffing and puffing about having to help me. He was actually cursing out loud while he re-measured my sleeves, telling me it “wasn’t even noticeable.” I don’t know who taught him how to treat customers, but it was an experience I will never forget and I was appalled. Never again will I choose Karako in East Northport because of the way I was treated by Bill. Such a shame.

Unprofessional and slow, ordering a tux was a mess the place was busy with about 4 customers in the store with 2 or 3 employees one of which was being taught how to use the register by the employee that was running back and forth between myself and the other 3 customers the whole time it took forever and couldve been much less painless. After the long process the guy told me he would call.. within a couple days and never called I had to call them twice to come pickup the tux. Not only this but one of the employees called me early this the morning with a attitude because I apparently didnt return the tux on (less then 48 hours after the event) and asked me how I would feel if he delivered the tuxedo was late... etc I told the guy I was in class and would come in later. After when I went to drop the tux the guy had an attitude and when I called him out asked him why he has an attitude and is so unprofessional and he told me its my fault and I was an irresponsible kid and to go back to school.

Bob was very kind and helpful! He helped multiple customers at once but never made us feel abandoned. Loved our experience here!!

I wouldn’t recommend this shop. Bought two suits and the alterations on the pants were not good at all. Had them redo the hems and the seat and leg taper weren’t done. Not happy. Won’t wear the suits. Need a new tailor.

When my father passed away from COVID and I quickly needed a black tailored suit, not only did these gentlemen show class and sympathy towards me, but they were able to accommodate the tailoring for the very next day before my father’s wake given the situation. I will not soon forget how helpful these gentlemen were during a difficult time, and I can only highly recommend Karako Suits to the highest degree. Went there for three suits, got the so called three suit $1000 special. Could have done better at a sale in Macy’s. They promised us the suits would be ready in time for our 10/24/2020 wedding . Wedding Day came and gone still waiting for their phone call. Going there tomorrow to give them hell, have a feeling this is going to be a charge dispute. Details to follow.

The difference between this location and another was night and day! Sanjay was phenomenal and I will not be shopping around anymore! He was attentive and really showed his expertise. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! He really cared and knew what I needed for my new job!

Quick, efficient, great promotions. Sanjay was very insistent on selling us more than what we came in for, but all of the things he tried to up-sell were all under promotion. He also did have a mask, but had it hanging from his neck the entire time. There is a sign that requires all customers to wear one, and the lady who was working the register had one on.

Needed a last minute tuxedo and came in and could not have been happier with my purchase. Cathy was extremely helpful. The fit was 10x better than a previous tuxedo I purchased online from another company.

It was what I expected.Our fitter George was goodand was upfront.The selections were plenty. The only thing that they doget you for is each alteration and ask you to pay in full before alterations are done.They have packages with shirts,socks,etc. but if you want to save some money go to a retail stores for that.

Cathy helped me with everything from the suit to the shoes to the shirt and tie, always making sure everything fit perfectly while also making sure to find me the best deal. This place is great. For our wedding this past Sunday (9/1/19), we used Karakos for our groomsmen suits. Our guys looked awesome and the prices are unbeatable. The guys get to own a suit cheaper then renting a suit! Not only were the prices fair, but all the guys said that their suit was comfortable, fit well, and was good quality.We worked with Kathy the entire process and we loved her! She is a gem and she got us everything we needed for a fair price. We went there so many times to make decisions, that Kathy became a friend by the wedding. Its Karako. I walked into this place thinking it would be the Walmart of suits. It isnt. Slightly better than I expected, and not a bad deal if you need a few quick suits and arent too worried about the quality. You get three shirts, belts, ties, and some luggage. The salespeople following you around is rather annoying and they make suggestions as you are trying things on from a distance which is even more annoying. Overall, not the worst.
