Goodwill is an amazing store with a wide variety of clothes and other household items in perfect condition. I love their ongoing discounts!
I barely find anything here. They are too busy sorting through their FREE donations to send into goodwill ebay or goodwill.com and leave the commoners with the scraps. The NY Bins is even worse.
Last week I expected to find some good scores but I was sadly disappointed. Everything was way overpriced like 20% higher than eBay prices. Everything looked to be in terrible shape. Management should be embarrassed
A lot of stores you can return or exchange items ..because you can not try them on..because of this lovely virus. And they give you extra days..just in case.I am for once not a happy customer with the good will...you need to explain and display your customer service policy.
Came by Sunday on nov 29, 20, and Darnell was very nice and explained to me where to put everything. I guess he saw i was overwhelmed. Donated so far 31 bags of stuff. And im sure Im not done yet. But it was a pleasure especially first time dropping off here. Thank you, Darnell for your kindness esp going through a rough time right now emptying a 2 family home.
This place is a complete and utter waste of time. You can get brand new Nikes from the outlet for $30, they charge $30 for dirty sneakers. Nope
Just like the rest of the reviews.. The prices here are ridiculous. It was my 1st time there, and because I read the reviews I wasnt even mad. I saw a pair of mens workbooks, with no laces for $19.99. They were a 3/10 condition wise. Thats outrageous. Will never go here again
A wonderful thrift shop with lots of different options! Only drawback is that the fitting rooms aren’t open because of covid.. but other than that, a lovely spot with great secondhand finds.
Took my donation easy process.
Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Elwood and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance to. Great clothing donations. Clean facilities. No public Restroom. Nice staff. We will most likely be going back.
They failed to give me a receipt for purchase, and forgot to give me an item I paid for. Additionally did not wrap glass items.
I always go in looking for one or two items and end up taking home a cart-full. A lot of great books, household accessories, electronics, CDs, purses, shoes and clothing. I recall the Goodwill in my PA area being cheaper for clothing, but I guess its because much of it is higher end due to the areas surrounding it. If you spend some time looking youll find some great items. Depends upon their inventory/donations at the time, but I always find some great things there somehow. Usually much cleaner than most Salvation Army stores.
This place looks like a garbage dump
This place is a rip off! As I am at the counter, one girl tells the other girl to remove everything that is yellow green and red. Guess what colors are on sale. Red yellow and green! Checked the store for anything that were those colors. There were none! I will never donate to them again.
Today color is blue 40percent off. Enjoy hunting
Permit sell good dress
The staff here is reasonably friendly, although today my wife and I went with a return and the guy who helped us was slightly less friendly. As a tip to others, leave the little plastic tag thing on if you are going to return something. Anyway, weve always found great products here, including jeans. There is parking outside. There is also a donation entrance, which is fast and easy.
Lots of donations but not a lot of stuff in the store to choose from! Very disappointed!
So sad and upset. I donate all the tine to Goodwill. Walk in today and a pot w/lid was 10$$$$$. What?? Why?? And the place was a big mess. Embarrassing. Shame on you Goodwill. You will never. Ever. Get anything from me again.
Perfect place to donate items. Im also purchased toys for my kids. Great staff, good prices.
Good finds for clothes, shoes and childrens items, but greatly lacking in housewares and other items. Prices are pretty fair, but some items have damage or need cleaning, so just something to keep in mind. Goodwill is great! I love donating my unneeded items to them, too!
Very nice people. Very sweet girl, short with long curly hair... Very sweet and very helpful!
I got a pair of Ann Taylor jeans here for 8 bucks, and they fit great. This is a large and nice place. I like it. Parking lot too.
Very clean well organized store.felt like a department store. All clothes were hung up neatly clean fitting rooms.some very good buys and some one of a kind hidden treasures in other areas.staff was friendly andf professional
Good used stuff helpful staff great place to donaite to
Not impressed overpriced junk
Waited to check out for 15 minutes. Had to leave without purchasing anything. Believe in the cause, but not enough to miss appointments.
Hit or miss at this place. They also have some new and used items. I have also heard this is a for profit business.
Kind of a dump of a place but you can find some hidden treasures here. You just have to look past the store itself.
Lovely jewelry for low prices. Quick computer generated donation receipts.
I love it here and the attention is great people .
Great place to find clothes that you otherwise cant afford
The selection is decent.. the prices are not. Nice mainstream clothes and organization however i wanted to find some hidden gems. I guess i was used to the midwestern goodwill prices.. thought it was standard everywhere. The prices just seemed to keep going up by state as i roadtripped back to the east coast -highest in ny so far obv. Unfortunately i live on long island. Some things are almost priced like new items on sale vs the $3 i paid on jackets, shirts, etc at a midwestern goodwill. $12 per each piece of tea china? $30 nice dresses? $15~ jackets, $9 shirt with torn hole in the back with sticker pointing to the hole? No thanks!!!! Wont be coming back. Its just shameful and really not fair to the less fortunate who go to goodwill stores for affordable nice clothing thats DONATED. Since when was it all based ENTIRELY on profit????And why would i want to donate my clothing to the goodwill stores that blow the prices out of proportion?
I went there for some retro SNES and other games. They didnt have any, but I did find some ps2 and xbox games for cheap. Great store for collectors and people that need things cheap
Huuuuuge store. Lots of great treasure to find here.
Nice clean store and good bargains. The only negative is that the clothing racks are not done by size, so youll have to search through each item on the clothing rack.
I lov going here to browse get ideas to shop for antiqie. Things
Very small and not much merchandise.
Love the choice and the savings and the price of the the things
I had an interview staff are amazing and kind
