Excellent. I, myself didnt know procedures to get in line 1st, wait for next available cashier/clerk/knowledgeable person, and come up for service/help when called, NEXT! They were all friendly, courteous, and eager to help you get what you need and out and on your way to fix/work what you came in for. What a pleasure.

As businesses go this location is low keyed. It is off the main road, Rt 18 south, by about 200 yards. There is an entrance on the property from Racetrack Rd.I gave them 3 stars because it appears that the staff is not well trained or knowledgeable in automotive parts. They dont do repairs here, but I have seen employees working on cars in the parking lot.For parts that you can install yourself and you know what you want, it is ok.

Auto Zone was good. They were the only one to have the oil filter I needed. Seems like theres a shortage of everything. The guys there are helpful.

Can call ahead to verify that items are in stock (store inventory online can sometimes be slightly off). Some reps will gladly help/check; others will check, but grudgingly (even at non-peak times -- same at other locations, though, and it just depends on who picks up the phone).Generally-speaking, though, the staff is friendly and seem genuinely willing to help.Also helpful is that this location is open until midnight (post-COVID) and that the parking lot is relatively well lit (most, if not all, locations have really bright lights within the store, which we really appreciate, but, at other locations weve gone to, the parking lot just seems too dimly lit, especially in winter, when its dark out earlier; by all means, look for ways to save electricity/costs, but not at the expense of peoples safety).

Its great to know that, even in the middle of the night, if you need a part someone is there to help you

They have almost everything youd ever need. If they dont they can order. They like to help make sure you get your vehicle back on the road.

Had the best assistance from Sherman at the East Brunswick AutoZone. He quickly helped me determine what headlight was best for my sisters 2008 Nissan Versa, gave me tips on the differences in brightness for the headlight, offered his secret tip on how to remove that unwanted haze on the actual headlight and as if that wasnt enough, helped me by installing the headlight for me. Being in the customer experience industry, I know great customer support, knowledge and experience when I see it. Thank you, Sherman for making my day less stressful with something as small as a dead headlight!

Always long line slow if they will any slower they would start going backwards

Been coming down there for few years, the parts I get always accurate But every time I go there, the line at checkout is always long waiting. Couple of employees behind the counter likes to chat to each other while knowing there’s long line. Doesn’t help. And my last visit, i purchased a battery for my fiancé’s car. He tried to give me a used battery. How I know? I can see dirty around the battery, one of terminal has scratched marks and one gouged mark. And it even missing plastic caps on terminals. I politely requested another battery and I got it without any issue.Pro- lots of auto parts on hand. If they don’t have it, they can get one within 24-48 hours. And always the right parts unlike Pep Boys.Cons- long waiting at checkout. No other employees willing to jump in and help with customers. They like to chit chat with their co-workers. And try get used battery off their hand on me.

Picked up a aerosol can of self etching primer. The place was busy on a Sunday afternoon. They had plenty of staff to cover the registers.

Online it says they open at 6am, and I see staff members walking inside, knock on the door and they didnt even bother to talk to me, had to pick up order that I placed last night, will have to return it and never buy anything from this company.

Associate I ask for help told me too wait she was updating something on her computer gun. She could have placed it down and take care if the customer. I found the product myself.Rude associate.

The Lady who wore the gray shirt (who i can only assume is the manager because everyone else was wearing red and she was barking orders) was extremely rude and unhelpful. I waited in line to drop off oil. She straight up just said “my tank is full. Dont even try leaving that in the parking lot.” No hi. Welcome. The thought of leaving it in the parking lot never even crossed my mind. To even assume i would do that was offensive. Would not recommend going here unless theres another manager on duty.

Great service, had rhe lightbulb i needed.

Last week I stopped in at this location and they were slow as hell that it’s truly unbelievable. Tonight I needed to stop in after work at around 1045pm and they were closed. How about you guys remove the 24HRS banner from the rooftop of the building because you’re not 24HRS anymore. That’s false advertising.

When they first opened it was more organized and customer efficienct. Now the employees lost their enthusiasm for the job. Most times youll have to wait a bit to be helped. Not all items are stocked so try calling ahead. And it would be super great to call your customers back when you say you will. Other than that its an ok store with okay stuff.

Went in for a battery change, left with a car that needed to be towed & a burnt out fuse. Worker put my car battery in backwards because he had no clue what he was doing. Please do not let anyone in this store touch your car.

Our local Auto Zone was open 24-7 in pre-pandemic days, but theses days close at 12 am. Makes no difference though as we got there at 11:45 pm, the radiator and parts were waiting and the service was typically excellent. Highly recommend Auto Zone and this store on Racetrack Road in particular.

I ordered a part online for pick up. I drove almost an hour to find out that they didnt have the part I drove almost an hour to find out that they didnt have the part. Bad way to do business. I might as well order from eBay.

They had what needed, when I needed it, and for a 58 year old Plymouth. Cant find a thing bad about that.

Spent an hour here today to buy 6 simple parts. 1 of which 12 were in stock but the employee said they were out of stock.

This place has one line for both paying for items and parts which makes no sense, its slow and unproductive. The Indian guy is very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.

A few times I have ordered parts online the night before so that I could pick up the next morning. I figured that they would have all night to pick my order since they are open 24hrs. Each time, I had to wait while they picked my order. Dont know what they do all night long.

Today I went to the autozone on 50 Racetrack Rd #3, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. I didnt have to wait more than 2 minutes before I was offered assistance.District Manager Mudi took interest in the issue I was trying to resolve. He offered me options of car filters for my Toyota Rav 4 and went to retrieve the parts I needed.When I asked Mr. Mudi how to access my license plate light bulbs he offered to come out to my suv and take a look with me. Mind you it was very hot and humid.Mr. Mudi not only showed me how to access my plate lights he went back in store grabbed a screw driver and changed my bulbs for me.He then offered to show me how to change my cabin fliter. Again, he not only showed me but actually changed my filter and checked both my AC flow and plate light bulbs to make sure everything was functioning correctly.I was so impressed with Manger Mudi I asked to meet his boss Chris.Chris was also a gentleman and I insisted on finding a way to show my appreciation.I told Manager Chris that the service Mr.Mudi offered was phenomenal and that the general way this store operates will have me now as a life long customer.Please make sure Mr.Mudi is recognized for his professionalism and care for autozone customers.This franchise is lucky to have such high quality employees and America is lucky to have them in the work force.Sincerely,John F.

Largest Autozone I have ever visited. Came over from Princeton area as they had the part available in stock. Service was a bit slow but they were thorough in making sure each customer had the correct parts. Always good deals on everyday car maintenance items. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Not pushy on making a sale.

My headlight went out and I needed to get a new bulb. A young man asked if I was being helped, I said no, he said he’ll help me. I gave him the year and make of my car and he found that I needed an H7 bulb. He then asked if I needed help with the installation. I have never been asked that before (pep boys) so I was surprised. I was relieved because it’s a real pain in the butt doing it myself. His name was Phillip. I believe his last name started with an ‘S’. He was very nice and helpful. I appreciated the help so much! He even installed the bulb while it was raining. I saw another 3 auto zone employees helping another customer install something on their car in the rain. Very happy with my visit. Thank you guys !

Nice, quick, clean

Not so great. Disappointing because although the person who waited on me understood how to use the system, and they had my parts at a reasonable price, they were so slow. Painfully slow. There were four registers in use while I was there, but I was online for well over 10 minutes behind five people.

This is a good AutoZone, its very clean and well stocked. The staff was very helpful. It laid out in a typical manner. I dont use auto parts stores very often so this was a pleasant experience.

Big space, lots of employees. Never anyone at the counters. You can hear ALL of the employees laughing, talking. Doing God knows what. And when u finally see someone that works there they make eye contact and keep walking. Great potential, more sense of urgency.

Placed a part on hold, drove 45 minutes to the store. Employee dropped the mirror on the floor and shattered it. Of course it was the last one in stock anywhere nearby. No apology from the employee or manager. Overall useless

Stopped in to purchase a headlight, priced very inexpensively. Associates were very friendly and helpful. Cashier Leonardo Davis, was beyond helpful! Leonardo actually installed the headlight for me, despite the cold winds. Hes a TREMENDOUS ASSET to the location as well as the company. I couldnt thank him enough !

Although always busy, this 24/7 location has an extra large inventory and knowledgeable staff waiting to help you. Never had a bad experience here. Traffic can be rough, try to use back roads when possible.

Stopped at 1 am on my way home from work to pick up hose clamps. The associate was putting parts away and told me I would have to wait about 15 minutes before he could help me. I guess they are open, but not interested in helping anyone at that hour. Ill hit up my local parts store in the morning. I thought a parts store open 24 hours would be convienient. NOT!

They had the parts none of the other local stores had, BUT it was over an hour of waiting and frustration. None of the staff knew anything about vehicles. They had trouble finding the parts, trouble using the register...every aspect of the transaction seemed difficult for them. Think well just order parts online from now on, visiting this store isnt worth it.

Everytime I stop a this place, I always go out very satisfied with staff and the way they assist me.

The staff is great. They always have been since the store opened. The problem is that on the weekends the lines are too long and very slow. Ive walked out frustrated more times then I would like to admit. This very reason causes me to shop online and seek other methods to fix my vehicles.

The main reason for the one star is they have one line for everyone to pay for things they picked off the shelf or to get parts from the staff. You should not have to wait in line for 15 minutes to pay for a gallon of antifreeze while staff who know very little about the anatomy of a motor vehicle stand there aimlessly searching for parts they know nothing about. There are some people there (mostly woman).who are great and know alot more than the men there but I think some of the good help may have left because of the mismanagement here. They are also understaffed because they are a warehouse for other stores in my understanding. They are busy answering the phone and not helping customers or helping customers and not answering the phones. Frustration at all levels here. I did not see one happy customer or employee. There may have been one happy employee but he was walking around in the back on break eating a sandwich while all of this is going on. Otherwise, great to go there at any time of the day if you are in a bind and they have the parts.

Great experience. I went there after midnight, since both my cars were giving issues and got mixed feedback from mechanics. If someone has patience to listen to your elaborated concerns and make recommendations on what parts to pick, I feel super thankful to them. Jairo and Jackie helped out that night. Jairo even made suggestions step by step on what should I look for, and how do I decide if I am going in the right direction, and now I have my car up and running just fine. Totally recommend talk to him!

I dont live close to this place so I have to have a reason to go but it isnt a regular AutoZone. They have a bigger inventory, 24 hours and a knowledgeable staff. Totally different vibe. Just expect to wait in line or have trouble getting prompt phone service because the staff can get distracted assisting people like me.

Manager and store employees wear their mask below noses and take offense if you ask them to pull it up. The plastic guards at the service desk are low and wont protect customers or employees. My last time going there while COVID is here!
