Really nice friendly and busy Harris Teeter. Stocker was very helpful finding what I needed. Very close to Duke Campus. Pharmacy staff was great got my flu shot quick and easy. Just wish they still have lollipops after. 😁

I love Harris Teeter but this one is never staffed at the registers. The self checkout is always backed up 8-10 people. I dont think they ever open more than a few registers. Starbucks should close this location. Harris Teeter treats it like an inconvenience . Most of the things I dont like with this location could be solved by management and staffing

Ive had only good experiences shopping at this HT. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 is because their prepared foods arent as good as Wegmans.

Strip-ish mall at the corner of Markham/Hillsborough & Ninth Streets. Has a relatively new Harris Teeter grocery store. Walking distance from Dukes East Campus and (of course) 9th St. Seems to have ample parking, despite Chase taking the formerly open parking lot steps away. Nice neo-Chinese place across the parking lot on the corner. Relatively expensive chain burger place (Burger Bach) & some spa-ish businesses. HT is not a cheap grocery store, especially now that its owned by Kroger, but its probably cheaper than Whole Foods on Broad Street. Convenient to Erwin Rd. Exiting the parking lot can be a little odd, but there are plenty of ways out: 1 of them is essentially 1-way. Youll figure it out. :) Be careful at the crosswalk in the middle of that block of 9th: its deceptive & more busy than it looks.

Love this location. Staff friendly. Products are on the shelf. Great fresh Vegetables and Fruits. Easy check out.

I visited the Harris Teeter Teeter Pharmacy and was satisfied with the staffs attitude and the customer service. My prescription was ready in a timely manner and the price was reasonable. Great Pharmacy!

Not one of the largest stores (good thing), probably the best manged grocery store I have ever been in. Every employee is well trained and ready to help. Slightly higher prices but worth every penny.

They have the BEST Harris Teeter anywhere for curbside pick up out of any chain I’ve been to. I look forward every time when I pick up my orders. The order 99% on point and if something is wrong they fix it instantly. They’re always wearing their masks properly for Covid safety.

Very convenient to NCSSM and Duke campuses. Store is clean and well stocked. All of that said the prices are generally much higher than other stores in the area. Additionally, the store is almost always very busy. Not the most relaxing place the shop, but if you need to get in and out it is the place to go.

The BEST Harris Teeter! Always well stocked, clean, and good parking. Only super busy when going around 5-6pm. Amidst the current COVID pandemic, this HT is the best when it comes to cleaning the carts and customer/worker safety. My favorite location by far!

AND THEY HAVE LOT OF HOTELS, GROCERY STORES, AND A COUPLE OF CAR DEALERSHIPS DOWN THE ROAD AND A LOT OF FAST FOOD RESTAURANT AND A LATE NIGHT RESTAURANT THATS CALLED THE WAFFLE HOUSE. THEY ALSO HAVE A AUTO PLACE TO WHERE YOU CAN GET THINGS FOR YOUR CAR. AND MOST OF ALL THEY HAVE GAS STATION 🚉 TO WHHERE YOU CAN GET GAS ⛽ THE B.P. STATION. NORTH CAROLINA IS A GOOD PLACE TO VISIT OR STAY IF YOU ON YOUR VACATION.

Location always nice and clean with helpful staff.

Clean and well organized. Good selection of fresh quality produce. Fresh bakery on sight. Meat and seafood market section offers many varieties of meat and fish although the pricing is not competitive with other stores. Parking is free and right at the entrance. Other stores are close by. Checkers were respectful but not quite friendly. No assistance in carrying out groceries which would have been a plus.

As the local Harris teeters go, this one is okay. The store is bit larger than many of the other ones, and its old school layout may be confusing to those that have been to more modernly constructed Harris Teeter locations. That being said it has all the amenities that you should expect as standard and most of their locations. The deli did a great job for me while I was there. There are some great options for quick and fairly healthy on-site food. their pharmaceutical section is a bit larger than most and I found that it was well stocked.I should have gotten the employees name, but what I will mention is that I have received excellent service here. In a few of my trips here when Ive needed to get something that I didnt see out or find something that I couldnt see on the shelves I was instantly assisted. Even when I vaguely mentioned something at a register one time, employees went out of their way to assist me.

This place is okay. I appreciate that it has a Harris Teeter, but you have to see/sometimes interact with WAY TOO MANY Duke students. No thank you. If Im on 9th street (which has the same problem, but thats a different review) I might go by, otherwise Id shop somewhere a little lighter blue.

The parking lot is hard to get in and out of. The shops around are decent~ lots of food and self care options. *be aware of potential accidents* its a fun spot to rent scooters & tour the town. Theres definitely a lot to see

There is a wide selection of businesses but parking lot isnt the easiest to navigate or get into/out off.

Delicatessen could not take down simple instructions like mayo, mustard, lettuce etc. I arrived to pickup my grinda. And it was a botched hoagie. Far beyond sub-par!

This spot is perfect for finding almost everything you need...restaurants, grocery store and you can even get a massage. Its conveniently located off of Ninth Street which is near so many other businesses and shops (bank, gas station). Its also not far from the downtown Durham area.

We ate at Burger Bach and it was awesome. The food was fantastic with unique ingredients cooked to perfection. The cost was reasonable, especially considering the quality. Our waiter was wonderful. I asked for my burger bunless and was accommodated with no fuss. The waiter asked if I were gluten intolerant and offered to alert the staff and have my food prepared to avoid cross contamination. I will definitely visit again !

Be really careful about expiration dates on canned and bottled food.
