I was treated very rudely by management tonight. I am so disappointed in in the way that the manager treated me I understood he was upset because I came in at 8:18 instead of before 815 and I was at the register by 8:30 he was so rude to me and when I asked him for his manager he said I don’t have a manager I am the manager, and when I was trying to get the number to complain about the service that I had received he told me you can do that outside. I felt like that was just so unprofessional and that’s not a way to treat a customer!😡Very dissapointed‼️

They may be under new management but it has gotten horrible,all the bagel bag were open and mising bread,and they sell expired/rotten food this place is disturbing.

The store was neat an orderly, they just need to clarify mask mandates. When my fiancé went in yesterday to buy 2 Gatorades, was confronted by an employee who singled her out about not having a mask on, (she has asthma and didn’t have her Drs. note on her), he then asked to see the note, (which is completely illegal) when there were two other gentleman on the same aisle without masks on. She proceeded to checkout and the young lady at the register apologized, was very nice and she left. Lets be fair about this - call everyone out on not wearing one, or don’t, and not single people out for race, creed or religion.

Pulled up at 8:30 to see the store locking up. Hours on Google and Save A Lot’s website both show 10 PM.

The store was clean, Stuff was in order(stocked nicely). The only real thing that stood out was the front of the store was boarded up. The windows were all broken.

Nice small neighborhood grocery store. Clean and seems fairly COVID-safe. Limited selection, but you can get most of the basics for very reasonable prices.

It doesnt have a great selection but what they have is an amazing price. The have all of the basics and a decent Spanish food selection but it has an American Tex Mex flair. Over all yes shop there and save some money.

Surprising had name brand foods for cheaper than the local food Lion or Harris teeter such as Kraft sliced cheese for $1.99. The selection was not very large but they had peanut butter and cocoa pebbles(by post cereal) which I grabbed immediately. I love my fruity pebbles!

Really like the new manager, when I went in this morning he greeted several people. He smiled and and told everyone if they needed any help to ask him. Thats the first time in 3yrs anyone from Save a lot that ever did that, dont know where you found him but he needs to be training some the employees that are already there.Thank youTonya Simber

Low prices and quick service

My second time perusing this particular food chain and was a very enjoyable experience. I enjoy the small town atmosphere and the very reasonable prices especially with their meat and produce as compared to larger food chains. Highly recommend as an alternative to visit and try its products !

Nice and clean and have what I wanted

Limited selection but good for the staples. Their meat and produce are some of the best deals in the area with normal prices lower than sale prices at other stores.Today whole chickens were .79$/lb, thats pretty hard to beat!Id stay away from the private label stuff though, youre taking Dollar Store quality on those.

Cashier shouted at me for not wearing a mask instead of asking me to put one on in a kinder tone. I didnt make a purchase because of the outburst.

I was one of the original workers at this location. We helped build the shelves and stocked everything for opening day. What a pleasure it was to be a part of that wonderful team and the staff was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about this store.

Personnel here are very helpful and you find things in this store you cant find in other stores. There is one point I would like to put special emphasis on; THE LADIES ROOM IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS THE CLEANEST LADIES ROOM I HAVE EVER VISITED outside of mine.

This is a decent neighbourhood grocery to grab the basics, but the selection is lacking. Although I live only 1 block away, I usually drive past this place to a larger store that carries a wider variety. Produce and meat are hit or miss on freshness. Prices are *very* good on pretty much everything they carry, and its rarely busy so its easy to run in and out quickly. The cashiers literally never speak to you, and they regularly lock the doors 10 minutes before the posted closing time, so dont expect great service. Still, Ill go here to grab things I forgot on my main shopping trip, or to take advantage of a good sale.

Great sales. Red grapes .99 lb. Swaggerty Sausage was sold out and manager retrieved one from the back. Helpful and cheerful staff.

The security guard that work tonight was the most horrible Person I ever seen do customer service I will no longer send my church members my coworkers my employees to your west up to you I am your place of business because of how disrespected my wife was

I love that the Staff is always consistant and turn over is low. I can always find what I need at an amazing price. I always feel welcomed and staff is always personable and kind. Hard to find with the bigger grocers.

This is a cute little store i go here from time to time i am able to get meat produce and many of the other day to day items i need for cooking and cleaning its a real down to earth kind of place not 40 choices of the same thing but 1 or 2 and the prices are great you will be surprised what you can get for under 40 bucks here

Store was clean and well stocked. Cashier was pleasant and friendly. I will shop there again, the prices was reasonable and the meat was fresh looking.

My visit at Save-A-Lot was good except I asked an employee for an item that was advertised on sale, but it was not on the shelf. The employee told me he would go to the back and bring some out but he never returned.

5:59p on Christmas Eve. Posted hours are open until 6p. Turned away at the door by the security guard in spite of being there before closing and multiple pleas and a request for a single item. Merry Christmas, rest assured I will never return.

The experience was about the same, but I was surprised to know tha I had one item hand didnt get a bag and had to pay for the bag.

This store is in a Very Bad Section of Durham. Armed Security in the Store. Lock your car!! Store closes at 9 P.M. due to the fact its a dangerous neighborhood. Prices are somewhat reasonable.

Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly as well as knowledgeable.

I love Save A lot. I want but meat from there cause I think the price to high but I shop for everything else there.

I would like to see more quality brands sold here.

Good prices...but there were flies and dead flies on and around the meat department. And, the stench from the meat coolers is repulsive, too!
