Definitely not one of my favorite Walmart stores. This location is a nightmare to get in. They only have 1 or 2 working scooter chairs. Restrooms are usually pretty horrendous. Money service at this location is an has been closed due to employee shortage, so customer service is working double time, personally waited in line about 1hr to get money gram yesterday. Shelves are empty like everywhere else. Sea of cars, takes about 25mins just to get in or out shopping center.
If you want any of the facial care products good luck getting someone to unlock it. Asked two associates on the floor and they didn’t have a key. One told me to go to customer service. Customer service said they didn’t have a key. Finally after 15 min found a fourth Walmart associate who was able to help me. But had to wait for him to go and get the keys.
Always a pleasure. Lines were long this time, but cashiers did their thing. They got us through the line with grace and speed.
Pretty ease of access to everything VERY PLEASANT PEOPLE. I really love that. Try them youll like it also.
Some of the workers at this location were great. But my customer pick up experience was horrible. The lack of enthusiasm exemplified by the worker in that dept was just horrible. A few of my items were either mishandled or deliberately destroyed. After I left this location I could smell bleach in my car. I purchased an item containing bleach from this location. I now have bleach on my seat and on my clothes!!!!!!!
Almost all shelves are empty. The staff do not talk to you or act like they care. The staff act like it is an inconvenience for you to be shopping.. It is always over crowded. No managers are around. The politest people are the self checkout or pharmacy workers.Customer service doesnt care either. Parking lot is always a mess. Cart retrievers leave the cart blocking the aisle or the ability to leave your parking spot.
Why have so many registers and have like 4 open.... makes no sense! Why have the mask policy if you let others walk around with no covers...I try to avoid coming here

Came in to exchange a 80 inch tv, the lady at the customer service counter acted like i was a scammer. I was so frustrated with the process i just purchased a brand new 80 inch. Horrible service i will never shop at wally world ever again after this experience.

Its a Walmart. Kinda disorganized, staff are overwhelmed and overworked and while they do their best they just look exhausted. Out of a lot of stuff, some empty shelves. Its just a Walmart.

Like many people I have mixed feelings about the role of Walmart in the global economy and in our local economy. Still I gotta admit its handy to have a place open till 11pm. And they carry my Wasa crackers like nobody else does.
40-50 people in line for nearly an hour at 10:30 pm with only 2 registers open. People trying to social distance, but hard with front of store so congested. 2 working cashiers were great and fast, but they needed help. No one would answer phone. Dozens of employees stocking shelves. Im a WMT shareholder, so this was disappointing. Not sure whats going on with store management at this store.
The managers and staff don’t communicate at all, they show their frustration and choose not to problem solve the issue. Very disappointed in the effort put forth and the hiring is very poor for the people I interacted with. That’s a big reason why I don’t purchase from Walmart, they need to hire and better staff and take more accountability, I’ve had 4 bad experiences with their customer service.
Walmart is a Walmart... only 3 registers open and lines all the way down the isles. I will say their clothes have gotten way better over the years. Super comfy and stylish for cheap... only problem is I bet youll walk around and find a couple people with the same shirt or outfit on as you!
Highly recommend never trying to order for online pick up. You cant cancel and are at the will of Walmart to when you will get your items. Took 6 days to get 3 items, 2 of which were canceled on us.
Had to wait in line forever. The cashier move very slow. Peo have attitudes that work there and for some reason they cant figure out how to get the lines moving quickly. Not only that you cant use cash at the self check out so you have to wait forever in the line. I was there a few weeks ago at self checkout. I was ringing up and one of the items came up a different price. I knew that the item was supppose to be a certain price because it was on a display with a bunch of the same items and a price tag saying it was this price. When I let the worker at self checkout know what was going on she decided she was going to ignore what I was saying and move her shoulders as if she was displaying that it was not her issue. I asked for a manager. As soon as I said that she quickly walked over to the register put her code in, changed the price etc so I could check out. I literally had offered to walk back over to the area and show the manager so they could see for themselves. Once she realized that doing that with her shoulders and acting like that was not okay she quickly changed her mind to get me out of there. Smh! Why did it take all that for a person to do their job the right way? They need to hire better people and not only that but train them properly. Yes the stores are busy. Yes the stores may be short handed. But Walmart need to be doing more to at least have better customer service and have people wanting to shop in their stores. Get it together Walmart.
Went to buy 2 tablets I stood in tech for 30 minutes. Guy came helped other couple. Then took off and never looked back. I will never shop @ this location ever again.

Just was another day at a big box store in a big city. The could have been more customer service oriented. Instead of just standing at the front of the store. All the lady was check your recipe as you checked out and left the store. It would not have hurt her to speak to the customers as they come in to shop at Walmart. I was wondering what had happened to good manners and old fashioned custom service. Please take me back to the good old days when Mr. SAM WALTON was alive and the Walmart Stores were ran the right way. Best possible customer service should be a priority to the management and staff team members. With a focused effort to have a well stocked store and clean store. Lets get back to the good old days people.
Store is big with lots of items stocked well. It’s busy always but has lot to offer for customers.
This Walmart is always busy. The lines are always fairly long, even the self check out lines are long. The aisles are always unorganized stuff is always everywhere. I do say though this Walmart is pretty big and has a decent selection. The produce is fresh for the most part compared to other ones where you can tell some of the produce is going bad. Electronics area is good they have just upgraded it also so they have a lot more stuff and the latest. This Walmart has a Subway inside which is nice also if you want to eat, or you can visit their Deli area and get hot food there. Overall this Walmart gets the job done.
Will not answer the phone about my already paid for order will update when I get to speak with a human.UPDATE- after an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone somebody answered and couldn’t answer my question. she tried to connect me to the department that keeps hanging up on me. so we still hold out hope

This is a really good Walmart. Things are very easy to find and the people that work there are friendly and professional. Its part of a good mall with lots of other nice shops.
Even though there were about 12 self checkouts, they were closing the only employee ran register. Every line was deep! Another example of people who benefit to stay at home rather than work for a living.
Always alot of us waiting in long lines but only 3 registers open. Its ridiculous period. 27 lines and 3 open. One of the reasons I HATE GOING INTO WALMART and dont go to often. Theres my post for ya

Not that crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Self checkout was relatively fast. Asked one of the associates for help, she looked it up on her phone and took me to the area and found what I was looking for. She was very helpful.

Worst customer service. Auto service is cheaper around the area but the quality and customer service are also cheap. So, its equal equation. The fact that there is no 2.5*, I gave it 3*.

We went to pick up an online order. There are no signs in the front informing us where to pick up. It is the back of the store. We then have to a go to a machine that scans out order and it said a rep will be helping us soon. After 5 minutes of waiting, we found out the system did not inform any rep! The online pick up place looks shabby. Bad experience overall.
Its just Walmart! Never enough checkout lanes open. You just have to go on the off times. Early in the morning or late at night.
The store had been remodeled since my last visit. It looked amazing. The associates were friendly and helpful.

Terrible customer service in the evening time. I was in the store yesterday morning and received great customer service from Bree. I had to make another trip this afternoon. While waiting at the electronics counter, the girl was complaining and walked away. After asking 3 separate people and not receiving assistance, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I like visiting other Walmarts that are not in my area because they have different things.
All of my experiences with this location have been absolutely horrible. This is the closest one to where I live, but I am vowing never to go there again.I have a 10-month-old infant, I was given a gift card to Walmart on her behalf. I figured Id test my luck and go to this location just to get her a few things.She needed a new refill for her diaper genie, so I grabbed one. Only to find out that at the register, it did not have a barcode on it. The lady at the register refused to track down anybody that could help go grab one with a barcode on it. She was going to leave it up to me to go grab one.I was shopping by myself, my husband was at work. I generally dont have anyone to help me if I have to go shopping with her by myself. So the fact that this lady didnt go out of her way to help me get something that was needed for my child... Left a terrible impression.Dont shop here if you have small children, you will not be helped.
Ive actually been extremely offended in this walmart several times its like everytime I walked in here without makeup on theyd follow me around especially some very rude older grey haired lady that worked up front I dont think she works there anymore must have been enough complaints to let her go anyways Ive personally had her call the police on me twice the first time they searched didnt see anything let me go the second I was going to leave after they let me go and they walked out and said they were sorry but she was extremely persistent that I had stole something and to check my car so I was like of course I had actually just cleaned it and the back seats were still removed so it didnt take but a min for them to check and see that I had nothing like I said shes no longer there and things have seemed to get better since I hope they continue with that direction
Like most other walmarts, items were not restocked which resulted in lots of empty aisles. But most items that we were able to find were reasonably priced. Overall, a good goto store for day to day groceries.
Every time I go there for money services it is either closed or the system is down. With all the money walmart have they should invest in new up to date equipment

Saw a shoes in clearance but it had the original sale price while the other shoes had discounts because they are all on clearance. Took the shoes with original sale price to workers at the changing room to see if they could tell me the discounted price. lol they way one looked at me and just brushed me off when I tell her the shoes doesn’t have the clearance price. She was like that price is the only price (in my mind I’m like then why is it on clearance).Took the shoes to another worker who was kind enough to check the price with her scanner. The shoes was $5.00 less than the original price (because it was on clearance and somebody had just forgotten to update the price tag). But that changing room worker just brushed my question off. Such is life still lol

Came in simply to pick up a game. One employee was helping somebody back there, but then got pulled away to do something with pictures. Nobody else back in the entertainment dept nor anyone that would come. Two other customers left along with myself after standing around for 10 minutes waiting for help that never came.
There are like 8 people standing but no one can help the customer service, saying it is not their job. the manager doesnt know either
This place is ghetto and packed all the time. And people cannot even read. DO NOT GO OUT THE BLUE ARMS... ITS AN EMERGENCY EXIT. Smh
Walmart pharmacy you have really messed up this time. This past Sunday I called Walmart to have my medicine mailed to my home because I’m currently on quarantine. When I called a specified which medicines that I wanted. The next day, I received a notification that they were taking money off the old card and charged me for medicines that I have not requested. I called the pharmacy to let them know and the woman I talked to was rude and took no accountability for the mistake. I asked for supervisor. The result is they had someone to assist me in putting a new card on my account. I verified which medicines I wanted and the price. Minutes later, they attempted to charge the same old card. I called back and told them what happened and they tried to say that it happened because I requested that the old card stay on the account which was not true. Ironically while we were talking, she charged the new card. At that point, she tried to make it seem like it was my fault why she kept charging the old card and said since it’s been charged so many times, I can’t get my medicine. I asked for the supervisor and was told that there’s nothing that can be done. I kept asking for the supervisor and she refused and it on point, hung up. I kept calling back and she would just pick up the phone as though they were answering and immediately put me on hold. I called there 6 times, with the same result. When I finally got through, Mr. Patel answered and rudely asked what I wanted. I wanted to give them a chance to correct this issue and make it right. The end result is Mr. Patel being rude to me and defending the women’s bad behavior towards me. I told them I will to it that they lose their jobs because of this and Mr. Patel threaten to call the NAACP on me. Why do you all feel that what you and your workers did was right? They have taken money off of the new card and have not sent my medicine which I desperately need. I have called Walmart itself and no one is answering the phone. I called Walmart Customer Service. The end result is that I was a generic email response from the manager Iris from this store who has not acknowledged what happened and has not given a resolution. You all have put a bad taste in my mouth and I never want to shop with you all again. If I don’t hear anything from you on how this issue is going to be resolved, I plan on getting a lawyer.

Surprisingly disastrous. I tried to change the oil in my vehicle. I waited a few minutes because there was a client before. But then I waited more than 15 minutes for them to proceed with the oil change, but they were out there...walking and talking. . There wasnt even someone to open the door. Of course I left unattended. By the way, no other car was before me. Embarrassing...

Terrible experience tonight with Assistant manager Dana, overnight leader, & team leader John! My boyfriend and I was harassed by overnight leader & disrespected by Assistant manager and team leader therefore I had to call the police. Team leader was rude & disgusting to the only associate that was helpful to us. Police totally understood our frustration and advised we contact corporate ASAP. I am disgusted with the discrimination and harassment tonight. This is why I shop at Target unfortunately target didn’t have the candy we wanted so we stopped at Walmart to see if they had it & they did. The team leader wouldn’t let us check out and banned us from all Walmart’s ( I was told by corporate he doesn’t have the authority to do so )…..this definitely won’t worth the stop….

While Ive visited other Supercenters, this one remains my favorite. Its usually stocked with the items I routinely purchase from Walmart...and many I hadnt intended to buy. Plus, I always find the workers pleasant. Seldom are they in my way blocking the aisles with stocking shelves. I think the layout of the store is mostly easy to navigate too, particularly for shoppers in motorized shopping carts.
I came here after a long night packing and decided to drive to this Walmart rather than the chapel hill location because it stated on Google that it was open at 6 am. However, it is 6:15 and I am parked outside and they are closed. Regardless of their website saying they are currently open. I walked to the door and saw an employee who pointed me to a note on the door which says that this Walmart opens at 6 am everyday of the week except Tuesdays. I have no idea why or how that makes any sense but either way, they need to update this information on their Google page and website. It was important for me to get these bins because I need to make sure all of my thing are packed before the movers arrive. These kinds of situations are why keeping an updated website and Google info is important. I am sad to have to give this Walmart a one star review because I noticed some beautiful vegetable plants right out front of the store that I havent seen at other Walmart or other stores in general. Not for the price or the condition. You would think Walmart being the large corporation it is, they would have things as simple as updating their hours down pat by now. Guess not. Until they fix this really easy to solve problem, they are going to continue inconveniencing many more people, and they are going to continue suffering negative reviews for it.

Place is filthy, out of stock on multiple items, pallets waiting to be stocked down the main aisle, inconsistent practice of locking up items (all face wash?!?) And the icing on the cake...... self scan line 15 deep because only 1 other register open at 7:30 pm.
10 oclock its a perfect time to go during the day not a lot of people and you can find exactly what you need and then some.

I ordered a large grocery order for delivery and it was delivered to the wrong house. Then the store wouldnt answer when either I called or the Walmart Service Team Called multiple times. I was refunded for some of the money but still ended up getting charged $30. Wont be using them again for anything.
My daughter fell coming out the store on the way to the parking lot an the manager said he would get a ice pack an never came back. I didnt want to call the ambulance but maybe I should have so she could of got checked out, I am going to take her to urgent care an have her knee xray because she never cries unless she is seriously hurt. I feel like the manager should of showed a little compassion like the lady that worked there that came running to the rescue telling me not to move her
Bathroom was dirty. Toilet paper and paper towels were just sitting around not in the dispensers.
Customer service was rude after I suggested that a Please & Thank you go a long way.Turned a battery for a 12.00 core in auto dept. They said refunds for auto need to be handled at front desk. Went to front desk. Front desk said I could get refund at auto dept... which is all bull cuz I worked for Walmart...Absolutely no consistency.Customer svc leaves a lot to be desired.SMH
I like this Walmart in Durham but I do prefer the one in chapel hill next to home instead. In Durham most associates dont seemed to be bothered. Just point me to where I got to go, not asking to take my hand and take me to spot. They always have this attitude...not all of them but a good 60+%.In chapel Hill its more like 15+%.Much friendlier and helpful in chapel hill.
The staff is very unprofessional. You ask them to help you with something they roll their eyes as if theyre annoyed. Its always disorganized. I try my best to avoid going to this particular Walmart.

Just wish that they update their inventory online so I didnt think I was going to go pick up something and it wasnt there. Overall employees are great, the store is clean and well organized and check out was quick and easy.
Always enjoy going to this Walmart. I think with the Pandemic, though, they run out of stocked items quickly. My only reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, its great.

Picking up order in express, staff professional and nice.Delivery is slow, no urgency for the customer service side . But over all avg at best .. but I would shop here again . Mask requirements by and social distancing in full effect .

Wal-Mart continues to be relatively unreliable when it comes to certain items. They dont have 2X A-shirts or XL Fruit of the Loom knit boxers, certain coffee or tea products. Wal-Mart would be WONDERFUL if it could just be consistently stocked in a marginal sense. The most consistently stocked area is hardware and electronics.
