I got my iPad and iPhone fixed here and they stopped working shortly after being fixed here causing me to spend twice the money to get it fixed again elsewhere

One of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had. Komputer Zone was able to repair our restaurants Point of Sale server in less than an hour in the middle of a busy Saturday. They were incredibly helpful and transparent throughout the process and saved us some serious dollars. Cant recommend them highly enough!

Diego was great at assisting me with my computer issues . The screen had went black and I wasn’t sure what to do! On 1-12-19 I went to see the guys at KomputerZone at Compare Foods on Avondale because my laptop was not booting up I talked to Diego and Lewis and let me tell you in less than 5 minutes it was up and working like new. They have never fixed anything for me personally but my boyfriend faithfully goes there. He travels an hour just to use this great service. Fast service on a repair that required excellent soldering skills that were outside of the capabilities of one of the other local shops. Luis was up to the job and clearly knew what he was doing; I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

Tim and Luis saved me $1,000 today. My car AC has been broken in the summer heat for over a week, but they fixed at less than 5% of the $1,000+ the Toyota dealership said it would cost me thanks to some googling and creative soldering work at Komputer Zone. Specifically, they were able to do a custom soldering job on a faulty wire on a car AC circuit board in 30 minutes while I shopped. Not only were the happy to do it, but they obviously relished the opportunity to do some problem solving on an old electronic part that they dont see every day. They also made the wire connection stronger by adding some epoxy to make a moving part more durable.If you find yourself with an odd problem on an expensive electronic part, I would strongly suggest reaching out to these guys to see if they can fix your problem for less than the cost to replace the part (in my case $750+).And if you have a faulty Toyota AC from an older car (mine is from 2005), then I would DEFINITELY do some research and see if you cant just stop by for a similar custom soldering job.

Very honest guys! had no sound coming from my iPhone speakers so i came in to get them replaced but they just cleaned it free of charge!! super helpful!! diegos the best!! ;)

Contacted this shop via their Facebook page about a problem with my PC. They were able to troubleshoot it via texts and resolved the issue. Pretty efficient! Recommended.

Walked in with a Tablet issue and was helped right away. 10 mins later I left with a fixed Tablet and they showed me how to fix it should the same issue arise in the future. Great place! (Note: it is inside the Compare Foods store)

Luis was very polite and helpful. I had some trouble finding the place and he helped me over the phone. When I arrived he was very polite and willing to help. I originally came to get my iphone 6 screen fixed, which he fixed very fast with NO WAIT. You cant get any better than that.

In all my years of owning a cell phone I recently dropped and shattered my screen for the first time! Not only was it shattered, the screen was totally unusable so I filed for my insurance replacement. When it arrived and I turned it on only about 60 of my contacts appeared on the phone. I was devastated and asked someone if they knew anyone that would be able to retrieve my contacts (and possibly my pictures) from my old phone before I had to mail it back to the insurance company.Komputer Zone was recommended and I decided to give it a try. Not only am I glad I did, I will ALWAYS go there for ALL future cell phone and computer needs, whatever they are! Tim was extremely cordial and was able to temporarily place a screen on my old phone in order to access my contacts. He informed me that I had more than 300 and he would be able to transfer them all. Not only did he do that, he transferred all of my pictures and the history of more than a thousand text messages! This was all completed while I waited and while he quickly and courteously greeted and assisted five other customers!I cannot overemphasize that if you have ANY computer or cell phone needs, Komputer Zone is THE place for fast, phenomenal and affordable service!

Komputer Zone is simply the best. I came in with a problem with my iPod Classic and despite being a very old and out of date piece of technology they dealt with it expertly. They offered to repair it for me and even lent me a replacement MP3 Player while the repairs took place. You simply cannot ask for better customer service. Add onto that, that the prices are fair and this is simply the best place in Durham to get your electronics repaired.

My MacBook was acting up, the fan was acting like it was overheated and everything was running very slow. The Apple technician told me that it was going to cost me almost a thousand dollars to fix it. Then I gave it to Tim and he charged me $170…Stop worrying, call Komputer Zone.

Tim and all his staff are wonderful. I have taken my sons Iphone there several times for broken screens and a bad battery and get the phone back in workinf order again. My extern HD went down, took it in and they sorted that it was only the power supply in the external housing that crashed, but that the HD was in perfect condition. Advised on what case to buy on amazon and didn’t charge me anything for the diagnostic. They could have milked a fee out of me, but instead gained a loyal customer.

Great experience with Tim. He is a nice guy who knows how to repair laptop quickly and works well with his customers. He is willing to help his custumers. For solving the issue of my laptop, he bought an adapter for a rare type of SSD to recovery the data and finally it works.

Im 80 years old, very patient people helped me many times to install windows 10 on my laptops, got me USB-Ethernet adapter for chromebook, and installed chinese language and keyboard for me. very courteous service!!!! Dont go anywhere else

Forget the Genius Bar or any other apple experts. Go to komputer zone for your iphone and other I repairs. Tim was able to revive my dead, blank iphone 4 in less than a minute, when The Apple Store would not even deign it a look, since it was beyond repair. I received similar responses from other iphone repair businesses. Tim reconnected an internal wire that had come loose. He did not even charge me, since it was so minor and simple by his account - can you believe it! Where can your find such competence and integrity today.
