I was sent here on recommendation from another shop who said they would rather me be taken care of by these folks. Boy am I glad they were honest! I brought my car and dropped it off after hours and within 48 hours they had diagnosed the worn out clutch and completely repaired my car... and this was all happening on the days leading up to a holiday weekend! I was very impressed with their honesty, professionalism and how quickly they were able to get my car back to me! I will definitely be going back if I have any future issues.

I had a check engine light on they looked at it quickly and hooked it to a diagnostic machine. they checked some connections and the light went out.Then I asked them how much I owed them they said nothing. I almost fell over I left a very happy and shocked customer. I will definitely be back very good customer service.

They didn’t let me down, they also keep you posted if anything else was wrong other than what you brought it in for to get serviced to see if you want to go head and get it taken care of while they are up under the hood. they are reasonable when it comes to pricing all around. I have been using this branch for at least the last 2 1/2 years. They changed the transmission on my 05 Acura TSX when it finally gave up the ghost in 2018 Or 19. The pricing was by far the most competitive of any major outlet that I shopped; their customer service was excellent, and the quality of the workmanship above reproach. They are professional and I feel like for the first time in a long time I can actually trust the work that is being done with and without any fear of being sold things or services I don’t really need. These guys do business in an old-fashioned way where the word is their bond and they do what they say and you can take their commitment in assurances to the bank. I just wish they were closer to my home as it’s about a 30 minute drive to get there one way. Regardless I will always use these folks for anything major that comes up.

I came to this location a few times but the last time consisted of water damage from flooding. At first they couldn’t find any water damage but when I brought it back they did an extensive evaluation. I was so distraught but when I called to speak about my vehicle they started to pray with me and assure me that things would be ok. My car stayed at their location for two weeks while I dealt with the insurance company. This kind of service is rare and I’m so grateful for their generosity and great service

Ron with aamco was very helpful when it came to helping me get my Mustang GTs transmission replaced I went out of town for a few days and got a call saying the problem had been fixed and the car was good to go. It drives better then ever now!!

Unpleased is an understatement, I dropped my vehicle off at 830 once they open. Never received any update about my vehicle had to keep calling. Mr. Britt wouldnt put a manager on the phone. They didnt even service my vehicle just stated wasnt nothing wrong with it. Once I started the problems I was having they stated that they might have to keep it over night. But I will have to pay a service cost. They was upset cause I kept calling since they didnt have the professionalim to call me and give me a update after being informed that I get off at 5. Never said that it was other vehicles in front of me. I was stuck at work had to pay uber and them. Just a waste of time going up there they just want money. I read all the reviews I guess I wasnt as lucky to get professional services.

Called in and talked to Ron, very respectful and knowledgeable. I was worried about some ticking coming from my engine and a very poor performing transmission making horrible grinding sounds and major slipping. They assured me that the ticking was just a leaking exhaust manifold. Didnt even have to replace the gasket they just tightened up the bolts and ticking is gone now! The transmission was a different story though. They gave me a quote for a standard rebuild and even when more really serious problems showed up unexpectedly, they never raised the price on my original quote. It was actually lower than what Ron had originally told me! Very happy with the work. Ron was even nice enough to point me to another shop for work on my gauge cluster.

I scheduled an appointment to get my 150,000 mile transmission check. Upon arriving, an AAMCO team member noticed an unusual smell coming from the engine compartment. Not only did I get a professional transmission check and fluid change, the AAMCO team went way beyond expectations when they removed a small animal from underneath the radiator which had expired from heat fixation. They did this at no extra cost. Thus, I highly recommend the AAMCO in Duluth Georgia to anyone who needs transmission repair. In addition, they are part of the Trust Dale network. These guys really provide excellent service and they care about their customers needs. I would not take my automobile to anyone else for transmission service.

Recently took my car to be diagnosed. When I picked it up, they told me transmission needed to be rebuilt... for $3000. Car worked fine when I dropped it off except when taking off quickly it would shake for a few seconds. Now it barely goes into first gear. I went back immediately and they argued that it was already like that and that I told them it wasn’t working. How did drive it up there if it “wasn’t working”. These people are a rip off and are only there to try to take peoples money. DON’T TAKE TOUR CAR HERE.

The first time I had taken my car to AAMCO it was to get my transmission repaired. That was 4 years ago and my car is still driving like a charm. The guys here are honest and they do quality work. Yes, I have taken my car back...but for something totally different and, again, great work! Oh and Ron...hes the best! He explains everything to you and makes you feel very assuring.

Everyone is extremely nice. Highly recommend. I came in after AAA replaced my battery which resulted in a check engine light and a message that my transmission needed service. Ron and crew were so helpful and courteous. They scanned my car for the check engine code and checked my battery to make sure it was appropriate for my car. I hope I never have an actual transmission problem, but if I do, I’m definitely bringing my car back here!

Great place and great people! I have taken two cars to have transmission work done to them and both times were excellent. Brett... is the rudest person. I had called the lawrenceville location but they are booked. So they told me to call this location. Lawrenceville said 50$ for diagnostics and Brett said 85$ So I asked him why the difference if they are the same place he laughed and said take it to them. Had my car towed to the Duluth AAMCO location a little over a week ago. I had already known the issue was dealing with the transmission before even talking to the gentlemen there. They reassured me that my car would be in the best hands possible, and they were not wrong. They checked in daily, if not every other day, with information and near instant email responses to any questions I had along the way. Completely transparent, the entire way and very helpful. First time my car has ever had a big service requirement, and I will absolutely be a repeat client. Drove the car home today, as I said, a little over a week later and it feels brand new. Huge shout-out to the team they have, especially the mechanics behind the scenes, thank you very much.

My car has been having issues with shifting gears and shaking upon acceleration. For years I thought it was my transmission because thats what other mechanics told me. Aamco(Duluth) diagnosed the problem and told me it was my engine. They changed my spark plugs and gasket. My transmission never had a problem and I trust them because thats what they specialize in. Service is absolutely top notch! I had my 4 wheel drive vehicles transmission replaced here 3 yrs a go and anytime I thought I had a transmission or other problem they inspected my vehicle, no questions asked, told me of any issues, and never overcharged me. My AAMCO in Duluth has Excellent Customer Service each and every time. My last visit was earlier this month and as always a great experience. I love Tim and Ron, they both are always a great help. I was taking my 2005 Mustang to them for years and now for the past year I take them my 2011 Ford Mustang. I trust them and I will always recommend this location to my friends. Trust me if they cant fix it they will be honest enough to tell you who can.

We were having trouble with our 2011 GMC Acadia, where occasionally it would not shift into drive or reverse. This would only happen after taking long trips. The gears would also lag in shifting when driving on the hwy. I took the car to two different GMC dealers, one in GA and the other in FL (while visiting family) only to have both dealers tell me there was nothing wrong with the car (despite me knowing there was something wrong it would not happen when the car was towed to their dealership and in their care). Finally I took it to Aamco in Duluth, they performed a thorough investigation and found the transmission was in fact slipping (like Id mentioned to the previous dealers). They fixed it for me and since I have had no issues. Had I taken it to the transmission experts at the Duluth Aamco I could have saved myself time and frustration. To add, this Aamco provided me with additional discounts and military discount for my husbands service. They were professional and kind. Thank you! They were courteous and very professional about resolving the issue. They identified the problem and repaired it at no cost. This is what I call a “WOW” Experience. Excellent customer service, great people. They access the situation, informed me what was wrong, fixed and charged the price they quoted for the transmission. I also added some work as I was traveling and they were able to complete before I returned with ordering and installing the parts for my old 1992 jeep. I recommend this location and personally will look to use them again in the future.

I brought my car to this shop at least 5 different times. Each time I had to keep my car there for days, even if it was a quick fix. I had to call them for updates on my car, just for them to tell me that they had more important repairs to handle before they could get to mine. I walked up to this shop (3.5 miles), after 4 days of my car sitting in the shop! When I got there they handed me my keys and told me good luck getting the repairs done. I wouldnt recommend going here, unless you are prepared to be without transportation for days.

I took my car in since a warning came up for a transmission fault - they looked at it for me, told me the problem, and even called my warranty company for me. When they found out it was still under factory warranty, they let me know and recommended I take it to a dealership first. My truck had to be towed here and was diagnosed with engine failure. These nice guys went the extra mile to find out that my car was still under warranty with Chevrolet. They were also a tremendous help with helping me with things I could not afford. The best shop by far!

I recently took my Aviator to Aamo located at 2530 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA. Ron and Tim are always very helpful and great conversationalists. I had a bearing replaced. They did an excellent job and cheaper than what the dealership wanted. I have taken my cars here for various concerns and I always am very happy with the results. Great job guys.

Great customer service! My waranty company wants me to take it to the dealership but they are soooo nice and did let me know what was wrong with my vehicle!

Had my transmission rebuilt here and it rides like new. Great guys great service they helped me get an rental car while minds was in the shop. I recommend them to everybody and I like that they stand by there work and I have an free vehicle check in 10 days to make shore everything is working ok.
