Great customer service. My sons SUV had a leaky tire. We we adding air to keep driving. Called all over Duluth for help. No one said less than 2 weeks wait. NOT Discount Tire! They said bring it up. Huge relief. They worked it in. Mechanic jacked up car and pulled tire between jobs. Another checked it out between jobs and put it back on. Took an hour of waiting, huge sigh of relief when fixed. I would have happily wait as long as needed. The crew went above and beyond customer service in a real time of need. The Mechanics never missed a beat on the scheduled appointment work. As long as you are talking to an employee that wants to help, this place is great. On the flip side that hasnt always been the case when I have used there services. But 9 out of ten time there great and they always seem to save me a little money. Helps to tip your mechanic 😉

We were on our way back to the Cities from the North Shore and got a flat tire. We did not want to drive all the way home on the temporary tire. We went to Tires Plus and could not take us. Discount Tire said they would fit us in. Mind you this was about 5 p.m. It took a little over an hour to get the tire repaired. Crystal was awesome. She worked the service desk, but got her hands dirty and repaired our tire and changed out with the temporary tire to get us on the road. She did not charge us anything. My husband offered a tip or money for her dinner that night, but she declined. If you live in Duluth I highly recommend Discount Tire!

This is her husband Rick.....We live in Grand Rapids so I checked tires prices for my 2006 Corvette locally and, after being referred by a freind, checked Discount and they had the best out the door price. They told me to expect an hour wait, but since the tires were run flat I was skeptical and allowed for 2 hours. With 3-4 people working on the car they had me ready to go in 45 minutes!Very, very happy and I highly recommenced them!

Had a blowout while traveling around the fourth of July. Ended up replacing all four tires. Great service, slightly more expensive than my hometown tire shop, but was not highway robbery. Would have given 5 stars if prices were better. All the staff was hard working and polite.

So I have gotten three sets of tires here over the last 3 years and I will tell you I am not very pleased with their time management. I understand they get busy but I dont believe they have enough people to stay ahead due to this I dont blame it on the workers I blame it on the business if I was discount tire I would expand especially when theres only one in this area.

My wife and I were visiting the area from Virginia. A low tire pressure light came on in the car. Pulled over and identified the tire. We just googled tire stores in the area and chose Discount Tires. We pulled in and the staff took care of us immediately. They removed a screw and patched the tire. Sent us on our way in no time. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent.

Bought new tires here, because the new tires we bought at Wal-Mart were put on wrong, and every few days we had to put air in the Wal-Mart tires. I never buy tires again at Wal-Mart, ever....

Key thing here is, you have to ask or you dont get. Hence their name discount tire. I highly recommend this place, and make an appointment to cut down on wait time.

Man are these guys solid! The people who leave one stars on here for them literally don’t know what they’re talking about. I took my car to these guys after FireStone (a block away) gave my car back to me with a flat tire and wrecked my car more. I told them about how FireStone scammed me, and they were not hesitant to help out. They got me in on the spot and the mechanic fixed my flat tire, but he also gave me an oil change and refilled my washer fluid and I didn’t even ask them to do that!! Best of all they were nice and did it all free of charge, like are you kidding me?? :)) And no it wasn’t to get a review on here, I’m doing it because they really made an impact on me that day. THE best service hands down I’ve had out of any car place I’ve been to. If you guys at Discount Tire see this review, I just wanted to let you know you really turned that day around for me and really made a great impression. Unless you would like to waste your whole day to be told itll take just a half hour, theyre working on it now (as you see the tire still sitting there) I suggest you go elsewhere. I wouldve really appreciated a more accurate assumption so I couldve gotten things done while waiting. Do not comply with Covid regulations. Anyone without a mask is welcome.

The Price is Right.Their ability to balance your tires is now compromised...Also your center caps may fall off also due to improper installation.

Customer service is wonderful! My steering wheel had a shake after getting a tire rotation at the dealership, the dealership gave me the run around trying to get it back in to be looked at and it became a huge hassle going back and forth and wasting my time. Needing to have my vehicle fixed quickly due to an out of town trip I called discount tire, they were incredibly friendly, got me in within 30 min! Within 40 min I was on my way and they didnt even charge me to balance the tires, and corrected the situation that the dealership left me with. Incredible customer service, the dealership should be taking notes from these guys! Thank you! 👏

Very busy and crowded location! My valve stems were loose on my new set of tires...all of them! Glad my hubby was able to fix it at home because I wouldnt have been able to drive back or wait for hours to get it fixed. Besides that I scheduled an appointment and he wanted me to come back later as i was going to go have a quick lunch while truck was serviced...the young man was quite rude about it...I enjoy Discount Tire but this location needs some help!

This is my third set of tires from Discount Tire. They are very nice helpful people. They have the best prices and will match or beat anyone elses. The only downside to Discount Tire is that they are so popular, theres always a huge line! I dont even shop around anymore, I just shop their website.

Very busy duty does great work

We were on vacation in Duluth when we found we had a flat on our vehicle. OnStar sent roadside service to put on the spare. I wish I could remember the name of service, they arrived in 15mins and had us on the way to a tire store. We chose Discount Tire because they have a good reputation in Indiana. We were stunned to find out that the tire was a model that is not common and they had none in stock. Crystal searched their system and found the right tire and advised it would be there at 10 the next day. We left the rim and went back to our hotel. Next day we arrived shortly after 10 and Crystal had us checked in. The tech was already putting the new tire on the rim. We were back on the road shortly after 11AM. Many thanks to Crystal and the guys at Discount Tire.

Four new tires in and out in 1 hr. These guys are professionals. Covid safe everybody wears a mask fast and efficient. did I say friendly to.

If youre a woman, dont go here. They will quote you the wrong price over the phone and order the wrong products, expecting you to pay the difference. If you need a wheel, not just a tire, have your husband or brother call because they wont give you the rim let alone give you the correct price for the products and service. I used to only go to this shop, but after this I will never go back here, and I will never recommend anyone else to go here either.

They deserve more then 5 stars. Between checking out my current tires, payment, and putting the tires on, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Person that assisted me wasnt pushy at all. Showed me my options rather then pushing the most expensive tread down my throat. An additional 5 stars goes out to Josh. The guy looked like he was training for grandmas Marathon; had some crazy hustle going on in the service garage to get my car back on the road as quickly as possible. All the guys worked fast but Josh still did circles around them. Somebody better give that guy a promotion! ---- all in all very pleased. Cheapest tire option in the twin ports area and they will be receiving all my business for tires from this point onward. Competition cant tread on them!

I had brought my car for a new set of winter tires two years ago and came to Discount Tires ever since for winter tire changes. I had the unfortunate experience of sub par customer service. I was welcomed by a customer service agent who forgot I had an appointment. An hour later someone came to get me in the parking lot and mentioned casually they forgot about me. They asked me to drive to the bay and waited again with no guidance until someone asked me why I was there. Incredibly poor customer service. I will take my business else where.

I was about 6 hours from home when I found a nail in my tire. These guys fit me in when no one else in town could. Fixed the tire rebalanced it and check the air in the other 3 in no time. VERY fair on the price. Highly recommend

Placed a order online For a set of wheels and tires for 2400$ was treated extremely poorly by the staff they told me they would be ready one day and it took them about 4 more days to get them mounted and balanced. Just very disappointed in their customer service towards online purchases.

Best experience. Blew a tire after hitting pothole. They showed the tire I need (weird size) in stock. Made an appointment the night before online. They called me ahead of time to confirm. Great service from Ryan at the counter and the tech was very kind also. I run a dealership so have high expectations, but was very impressed.

Great staff and very friendly people at this location. Even when winter hits and they get slammed with people, they always treat you with respect and make you feel comfortable when its your turn. Had to have my car towed to this location as I could not drive it and they gave me a call when it was dropped off and took care of everything on the phone that day. AWESOME.

They have always treated me very fairly. Had my car at another shop to get the wheels balanced. The job wasnt done properly. I brought it to Discount Tire, the had me in and out in 25 minutes and the shimmy was gone. Very awesome!

I wish i could give more than 5 stars. Me and my family had 2 trailer tires strip their tread off about a half hour away from here. We called 4 other shops in the area trying to find someone to mount and balance 2 tires for us as we were from Illinois heading to Northern MN. They said they normally only take appointments but would squeeze us in they estimated us about 45min-1.5 hours. They did it in 30 and knocked it out of the park they got us out of a pinch and deseve all the recommendations in the world. Do your business here not anywhere else in deluth for your tires.

I had a slow leak of one tire (not installed by them). Easily made my appointment online. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable staff! They got it back on the bead and sent me on my way FREE OF CHARGE! Wow! I know where Ill get my next tires or service!

I called discount tire and requested a specific tire they provide, they gave me a quote, then turned around and told me that the tires were on back order and the distributor said they are unsure of when that tire size would be available. My fiance then got on SimpleTire.com and found the same tire/size and got them for a lower cost than Discount offered and they had them in within a week. Im guessing they quoted me too low and had to try and wiggle their way out of the quote they gave me. Wont use this place, and will try and get my company to use a different tire store as well.

Incredible customer service. When literally all of the other tire shops said they were too busy or made excuses for why they couldnt mount my tire the guys at discount tire, who were just as busy if not more than the other shops, took the job and told me they call me when it was done. I was expecting hours later as all the techs were running (literally running in some cases) around the shop getting the scheduled appointments taken care of. I was very surprised when they called me less than an hour later. Very happy, and will be returning in the future.

So, I was looking for another set of Nokian winter tires online and saw Discount Tire in Duluth had them in stock, sweet. Not sweet. I had 4 other worn out winter tires IN my van when I brought it in, all seasons were ON the van. I told 3 different people, 3, to take all seasons off, strip the old winter tires off of those rims, put new winters on, mount on van, put all seasons in van. Simple right? No. They strip off all the all seasons, start mounting new winters, when I finally go into the shop area and bark at some guy taking off tires that were new this summer. Come on. This isn’t building a nuclear reactor here folks. It’s tires. Oh, and I also spotted a “technician” kicking a rim off a pretty nice Expedition, not the tire, the rim. Ouch. Not going back.*I received a call from the store manager. Nice guy. He was very apologetic and refunded my install charge. Moved review from 2 to 3 stars.

Great place for tires. They have so many shops across the country, and if you have an issue with a tire, any of them will take care of you.

I quickly shopped around for a cheap set of tires for an old truck with an odd size tire. The price was right and they were the only place in town that had them. They are fast and super enthusiastic. If dont want to sit and wait, there is a Subway across the street.

The staff were great from the start! With all the social distancing they met me outside and got all my details and got me in right away. Had tires rotated, balanced, and two leaks repaired in about 45 minutes. So glad tires plus was backed up for a week otherwise I wouldnt have called them - so glad I did - the first time Ive used them and will definitely be back.

Great customer service. Line was a little long for having an appointment, and the tires I was supposed to get came in the wrong size, but Branden found something with an almost identical tread pattern and personally pulled my vehicle into the shop immediately. Would continue to recommend.
