I have the utmost greatest respect for Hi-Tech Import. Currently they are the only ones I take our 1987 Saab to for servicing. Mechanics are tops in their field. When our sweet ride is happy, we are happy. Thank you Hi-Tech Import!

Took my car to Audi of Westmont for a repair and they gave me a price for a thermostat only, even though when I looked closely at the mechanic notes he recommended a water pump too which was not included in the cost. Typical bait and switch from a dealer. I called Hi Tech, he told me it was a connected unit and gave me an estimate that was way less than Audi and included the water pump. Great service, honest, straightforward communication, and a job well done! I have recommended to everyone I know, and will continue to take my car there for any repairs. You will not be disappointed!

Most important to me is I trust them. They do great work, explain everything clearly and let me know what it will cost. Afterward, they explain in detail what they did and give me a complete itemized list with all costs, which has always matched what they told me before they did the work. They never try to sell me unneeded repairs and are always respectful.

Very satisfied! I ran into a check engine light on my 06 Tacoma while I was preparing for a long road trip. They were able to get me in fairly last minute (Talked to Matt 4 business days before the trip, brought it in 2 before), addressed the CEL and some other stuff, and I was out the door just in time! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back with other cars.

Took my wife’s Audi to another shop was told the compressor needed to be replaced. Called Hi Tech Import for a 2nd opinion and wasn’t a compressor issue just low on Freon. Honest, clean, trustworthy, and great work all around!

Matt here was understanding, took time out to explain the situation of car, he looked into problem and gave me Direction to where to take the car for future repair because was covered under extended warranty . I took my BMW here for the first time today, and I am nothing short of impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of this shop. I recently had my 2014 Mercedes C300 serviced by Hi-Tech and it was a very good experience. I contacted Matt to get an estimate for the repairs and he replied quickly. I scheduled the service and it was completed on time and for the agreed upon amount. I had spark plugs replaced and while the car was there, I also spoke to him about some cupping that I was experiencing with the tires. He indicated that sometimes that was due to worn shocks. I asked Matt to check that and he called me and indicated that the shocks should be replaced. I agreed to have them replaced. Since picking up the car, I have noticed that the car rides better due to the new shocks and also that the engine runs smoother due to the new plugs. Matt even showed me the old parts when I picked the car up. I am very satisfied with the job that Matt and his team did with the car. Thanks Matt!!

This place is awesome. I have brought both of my cars here. A Chevy and a BMW. They were able to diagnose both issues and repair them in a timely manner. I brought my Audi A8 for alternator replacement. Excellent service and affordable prices. Definitely would recommend this place if you have a European car. Most repairs are done in one or two days. Mechanics at hi-techimport were very courteous and I was getting daily updates on my car repair.

I am the type of person that does my RESEARCH before going to service anywhere.I came to Hi-Tech for a simple oil change my first time back in 2003, had great service. Matt, the co-owner, treated me with respect and dignity. He took the time to explain other issues that I had going on with my car during my oil change. At first, I figured typical shop routine about trying to add more service charges..wrong. Matt took me to my car bay and pointed out every single issue so I could see with my own eyes - pointed out what it should look like in comparison to what I had on my car.After that experience, I honestly knew I found a shop that actually cared for its customers, not just about the money.I own 4 cars and bring every single one here to hi-tech from the simplest things to the most complex.For example, I had my 2004 crv act up with an engine issue while at the same time I didnt realize there was a strong noise coming from my rear wheel. After Matt & the other crew members explained what it was, I could of been in real trouble on the road had the wheel bearing come right off (which was the problem, wheel bear detach).Anyway, I could sit here and talk about all the services that I have had at Hi-tech, but if you need an honest to goodness auto shop that can take care of any issue, Hi-tech is your place.Ben

My grandson ran into a repair project that needed more tools (& a hoist) than he could do on his own so we tried this place out. Not only was the owner of Hi-Tech Import courteous, he took care of us right away, he only did what needed to be done, and all at a very fair price!! The car is running better, handling better, and I now have a place I can trust with all future repairs! Excellent excellent repair shop!

This is the third service I have had from Hi-Tech Import. I will be returning for the fantastic service. This is the only mechanic shop that has been honest with me from the get-to, and handled things in a timely fashion. Highly recommended.

Hi-Tech Import provides great service, and saved me close to $400 from what the Audi dealer was going to charge me. A good friend of mine used to take his Mercedes, and recommended this place to me. Now that I live in the burbs, I plan on going there for all my car needs.

I have used HI-Tech a few times for my BMW and they has always fixed it properly. They are a great local mechanic that fix your car the Right Way, the first time. Sali and Matt are always happy to answer any questions about your car. Very good overall experience, i will continue to bring my cars here for all my mechanical work.

Traveling from out of town and my brakes went out. Had a busy weekend planned and needed to get them fixed right away. Call them up and spoke to Matt who told me to bring the car in and they would take a look. It was about 4:00pm on a Friday afternoon. When I got there, the mechanic immediately diagnosed the issue and stayed late to fix it. The price for the repair was very fair and I was on my way. The owner brought the car around and was a very nice guy. Thanks to the guys at Hi-Tech. I would recommend them without reservation.

Great customer service and repair work!

Took my car in get lower control arms replaced and a wheel bearing. Brought in my own parts, right of the bat they did not like that. They warned me that there would be no warranty left. Made sense to me, my parts. They swapped the parts, all was well. I also politely asked for a quote to do front brakes. They came back with a $400 quote. I opted not to proceed as I already paid a lot for the labor for my initial parts and that perhaps I will have a family member do the brakes for me. The owner tells me that I am cheap and if he knew I would be that cheap, he would have never started to work on my car in the first place, and that I have wasted his time putting the quote together. That I felt was out of line and disrespectful. They have now lost a customer.

Bruce at Hi Tech is the most knowledgeable mechanic i know. At High Tech they will treat you right . Very honest too!!

Matt, Sali and their team provided first rate, friendly and knowledgeable service when I brought my Jaguar XKR in with some engine management and parking sensor issues. The car was fixed promptly and with the minimum of fuss. They even fixed some internal cosmetic issues without my asking. Thoroughly recommended.

I took my BMW 335i here because they were highly recommended and they did not dissappoint. My car broke down due to a water pump failure the night before so I had it towed here and they fixed it that very day. I also paid half what the dealer would charge. The owner is an honest guy and the mechanic Tody who worked on it treated my car as if it were his own. I am extremely particular with my car & this is my go to shop for any and all future work.

Took my vehicle in for a noise. Was told the alternator needed to be replaced. I was told it was a water cooled alternator and the owner told me he had to top the coolant off twice and he drove my vehicle for lunch and checked it again. Said he was confident the loss of coolant was from the alternator change. Charged me $1200 for the repair. Thought they were pretty decent since I had already spent $3800 suspension work. Driving the car on the expressway a few days later looked in my rear view mirror and saw a cloud of smoke. Turned out to be antifreeze. The temperature was in the teens and I was stranded 20 miles from home. Against my better judgement I am having my vehicle towed back over there to be repaired again. Hopefully they will do right by me and repair the thing correctly without me having to spend anymore money. After googling the problem it turns out its quite common with my vehicle. This is something that should have been detected before I drove off. The part to fix it is a small hose that literally cost about ten bucks. Only the engine cover and the cabin filter housing has to removed to replace it. Feels like I am being jerked around. Never really complained about what they charged me for repairs. I know for a fact they upcharged me $400 on the alternator they sold me. I am all for small businesses making money and supporting them but I also demand good service especially if I am paying you dealership prices.

Record keeping & check out equipment is very old so no records of repairs or estimates will be kept by the shop. I got an estimate for a few repairs but I couldnt afford them the same day. I returned a week later and they had no idea what repairs or costs they quoted me.

I want to give them 0 star but google would not let me. Will never come here again very rude people.

This guys are real Pros they fixed my car in no time.Previous shop was asking $900 labor + parts cause their computer have told them that cylinder 4 and 6 have no compression this guys fixed it for $150 and didnt even charged for any computer cause obviously they knew what they are doing without it.

I have an older Honda Civic. They gave me a tune-up, changed the timing belt and water pump and replaced a front wheel mount. They were very nice, professional and have good mechanics.For example, Honda wanted $300 for the mount and service. Hi-Tech charged me around $125. Sure, they had done other repairs, but youre going to pay out the nose at a Honda dealership.Now, theyre not going to get your car back to you as fast as Honda; but if you can live without a car for an extra day or two this is a great place. I drove from Schaumburg b/c a friend recommended Hi-Tech. Bob Rohrman Honda, in Schaumburg, is very expensive for repairs. In their defense, its mostly b/c they have to employ union mechanics and have a ton of people working there.

Ive been going to Hi-Tech for many years. Always satisfied with the work - done right the first time, ON TIME, and prices always fair and reasonable. Theyve done small and large jobs for me on two Chryslers, an Avanti, a Thunderbird, a Citroen and lately on my Mercedes powered Chrysler Crossfire. Sali, Matt, Bruce and George are real experts and very interested in satisfying their customers. Theyve built up a very good business in the 20 plus years theyve been there. I know a lot of their customers who have had Audis, BMWs, Porsches and all kinds of Mercedes Benz cars and I know they have saved these people a lot of money on repairs. If you want it done right the first time, ON TIME and for a reasonable price you cant do better than Hi-Tech.Don Spatny
