Not the best of anything but definitely to par. Great source of things you cant normally find in this part of the world. (Longanisa sausage, the big bag of jasmine rice, etc.) For a decent price too.

Had what I needed gave it 5 stars. Located on the base. Good selection of meats and poultry. Fresh vegetables and produce. Layout is fresh and the aisles are wide.

Great selections. Everything you need in one store. The sushi stand is great. Wish they had more quick lunch/to go options (fried chicken, hogies Pretzels, coffee, etc).

No clue how good your little food shop is but Id like to thank the store manager for not calling the cops on my parents after they caused a huge horror show of a drunken argument outside. Ever since Covid took dads job away he usually drinks 30 cans of Miller before 5 pm daily and mother the day of the fight out front your convenience shop had drank a bottle of brandy.

I was at the frozen food area, I couldnt find the sausage biscuits, I asked a gentleman that was stocking in the area, where I could find them. (The 3 or 4 freezers were empty & a note was there to ask for assistance) He said he would get some from the back. He brought out 2 shopping carts of frozen food! This was so sweet of him to stop his work & to provide such a choice of foods!! He went above & beyond any expectations I had ever expected!! Kudos for such valuable employee!!❤ This happened on Wednesday, April 21, 2021

Over half the shelf space for all items are bare pretty much any time we go anymore. Shelf space for name brand items has been drastically reduced and replaced with the commissarys generic brand which is okay for some things but really not good for others. Produce has always been hit or miss as far as quality and freshness is concerned.

They always have what we need. Prices are very affordable

Whether or not this place is actually worth it financially is up to the customer. Traditionally DECA commissaries are tax free but theres a surcharge added to the final total.Here at Dover, everything off-base doesnt have a sales tax anyway so depending on what you get it could cost you more to shop at the commissary then say the Food Lion down the road. Just food for thought.

Its so much easier shopping on base, vs down town. A lot less people, means, less chances of getting Covid!🤗

Dont get there too often but when I do, they usually have what Ive come for and the prices for meats are food. Always clean and friendly staff.

Not a terrible shopping experience but they seem to be out of multiple things, even common staples like chicken, on a weekly basis. Prices are definitely reasonable though.

The store is clean and send to be well organized. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. The butchers were happy to give me some fresh cube steaks made with meat that I chose. Excellent customer service. They have great prices on meats! The produce department is a little small, but still has most things youd find elsewhere. The only so-called downfall was that there was only 1 register open. However, I must say, thats no different than shopping at a civilian grocery store or Walmart.

Found everything and at a reasonable price. No stress people are very considerate. Staff is top notch.

Usually stocked well but the are definitely days where half of the store seems to be missing. Most of the staff is polite and will help when needed, the ones that wont are pretty obvious.. fresh produce is usually in good condition as well, only had a couple bad experiences there. Dont get the fresh fish here though. Unless you are a risk taker.

Be AWARE IF YOU HAVE SEAFOOD ALLERGIES DONT TRUST THE VEGETABLE SUSHI HERE. THEY ARENT PROTECTING OR PROVIDING THE FAMILIES WHO SHOP HERE that may have an allergy. FOUND A PIECE OF LOBSTER meat IN WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A MEAL THATS PREPARED FIRST AND WITH A CHANGED OF GLOVES... so said the person making the ASIAN style VEGETARIAN OPTION SUSHI. A SMALL amount of organic items. Some items are affordably priced. Clean ailes and spacious. The merchandising staff for fresh produce needs to BUY better produce to sell to us and our families. NOT much vegan options here either.

Great prices on every thing you need

Only had one cashier working other than 2 in the express lanes. I had a lot of items in my cart but a lady sent me to one of the express lanes. Everything else was good.

DAFB Commissary is a smaller commissary, but appears to be well stocked and staffed. Had no difficulty getting assistance when needed due to my unfamiliarity with the commissary.

The commissary is only for military members, or their eligible spouses and it does save me alot of money! The prices are great, most items are priced under what other stores sell the same product for. Love their deli, ( they carry Boars Head lunch meat) and i always save when I shop here! Definitely a must for any one in the forces trying to save money!

A decent commissary. I generally come here to purchase steaks for cheap. However, since theres no sales tax in Delaware, the prices are not actually better on most items.

Problems with fresh produce constantly. It is not fresh. Nonperishables being stocked at prime time shopping. That should be done very early or late. Need name brands back on the shelves. Thats a shame it is cheaper off base. No savings for the military or retired on base.

We have never had a bad experience when we shop at the commissary.

The selections of staple items like pasta, cereal and soda is good but produce lacks and service is limited. Prefer to pay a few cents more and shop elsewhere

This stores is for military members and has some great selection of items you can only find overseas. But boy do the baggers need training on how to bag stuff.

Always out of fancy feast in the purple bag. Packaged fruit such as cantaloupe cubes slimy looking. Still had to make other stops to get what I needed
