This is the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I don’t leave reviews often but I absolutely had to this time. The feel of this little hole in the wall diner is so personal and cute, and the chefs are absolute masters of their craft. The hurricane of flavors that compliment each other so perfectly almost made me cry. Good luck choosing from the absolutely mouthwatering menu. This was our first time here, but far from our last. You’ll need to come back and again and again. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am. Seriously.

Super awesome folks, very kind. The food is crazy good.  The corned beef hash is real and good. The fat Elvis is insanely good, just look at the picture, it says it all.  Its a small place but comfy.  Prices are fair and soooo worth it.  Coffee is also a solid ten.

From where I was sitting I got breakfast and a show. This is because you can see right into the kitchen and watch them work thwir magic. I had the Fat Elvis, 2huch was the most decadent breakfast I have ever eaten. I saw that it was recommended by one of my favorite food blogs, so I tried it even though I was skeptical that Nutella and peanut butter might be too much with the bacon and banana. I was wrong to question it, they know what they are doing. Me brother ordered that bagel sandwich and be said it was good, which it must have been, because I barely got a pic before he devoured most of it within 5 minutes. My dad ordered the special which was a breakfast scramble of some kind served in a cast iron skillet. I got a chance to try that one and it was soooo good I took home his leftovers.

This little spot was recommended to us as one of the best places for breakfast....and that was no lie! Luckily we arrived just as they opened...because it filled up quick! The breakfast options were creative and soo delicious, and the staff made you feel right at home. I had a pulled pork breakfast bowl which was packed with eggs, potatoes, avocado, pickled onions & just the right amount of Chipotle sauce for a little kick! My friend had the corned beef eggs benedict....it was impressive! We even took some sweets to go for the car ride home! We highly recommend this spot for breakfast if you are anywhere near the area!

There usually is crowd if you go on the busier days but it’s always worth the wait and they always make it work. Highly recommend.

This place. Im so glad I dont live closer to this place because I would weigh 300 pounds. I stopped in on a whim when I was hungry and happened to be in Dover, and the fried chicken sandwich with Muenster, banana peppers, and hot honey changed my life. Im a new man, a man who will never look at a chicken sandwich the same way again. Whatever youre doing, stop doing it and go get some food from these fine folks. Youre welcome.

YOU MUST GO TO THIS PLACE! Got my order to go and it was done super fast. On my way home, my mouth was watering by how good the food smelled in my car. I am absolutely out of words to describe how scrumptious their pulled pork breakfast tacos is. Also, their orange juice is delicious, tastes like ot was freshly squeezed. The staff is VERY friendly and caring. It was my first time there and they recommended me the tacos. I will definitely be back there.

Fat Dog Kitchen was a recommendation while in the area! Didn’t regret this at all! Small dining area but more quaint than crowded. We waited next door to the restaurant in the movie theater lobby which was cute and we had coffee to tie us over. The waitresses were sweet and I personally thanked the chef while getting to watch him cook. One of the best Benedict I’ve ever had!

2 out of us 3 had to have to go containers the breakfasts were so big. Talk about flavorful incredible combinations. We got there right after they opened and before we were finished there was a waiting list was well as many to go orders. This is one draw back but I cant give a negative rating for being busy it just limits when we will visit knowing that there is usually a long wait on weekends. If there is a dog that was the inspiration for the name they were around that morning.

Excellent little gem of a restaurant right off route 16 (route 4) in Dover NH. They are a from scratch kitchen that cures and smokes their own bacon and lox. Small restaurant with about 6 tables and some outside seating (dog friendly outside). Today I ordered one of their specials, a breakfast bowl, and it was incredible. Bacon jalapeno pineapple sausage with poached eggs, fresh corn salsa, pickled onions, home fries, black beans, crispy onions, aioli, cheese and more! It was excellent. As I watched the others patrons breakfast orders go past me I knew Id have to come back here to try everything they have on the menu!!!Also, To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen and down a very steep flight of stairs making sure you dont hit your head on the ceiling. If you are unstable on your feet this would be very difficult to do. So definitely not handicapped friendly.

I would have to say Fat Dog Kitchen in Dover is absolutely the BEST Breakfast & Brunch spot on or around the Seacoast area PERIOD. The food absolutely phenomenal and they’re always adding new things to the menu. Thinking it couldn’t get any better, our waitress Beccah was absolutely awesome and made our visit out of this world. Not only are the owners hands on and just as pleasant as their staff, but you can tell they were extremely grateful for my business. It’s refreshing to find a wonderful place where everyone loves what they do and are grateful for your business.

Great selection of unique food. The Captains Toast is battered in Captains Crunch and the thick bread is perfect. The corned beef hash was highly recommended by others at the bar and it did not disappoint. It is heavy on the meat and the potatoes are soft and well-seasoned.Getting seated was awkward because I wasnt sure what to do. BTW, its seat yourself. They could do better about taking names and calling when theres a seat available.

What a gem! So delighted to find this happening little space. It’s always a huge plus when the owner is busting it in the kitchen, and this guy was rocking it solo with just a dishwasher. Great vibes from the staff and you can tell by the decor that these people just know how to have a good time. Corned beef hash seemed to be started out boiled dinner style, as the potatoes were soft and delicious with flavors of beef! It’s always a real treat when you order hash and you’re not presented with a pile of dog food. The Captain’s French Toast was a fun, tasty rendition of a classic. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The Perro Gordo was a very well done version of huevos rancheros. Homemade salsa was on point and you can never go wrong adding chorizo to this breakfast classic. You can tell the owner cares about his craft, as you can taste it in every bite. The server was mobbed, but did an outstanding job of checking on us and making sure our coffees stayed full. Food or service didn’t suffer one bit on a busy Saturday. Overall an outstanding first experience and I can’t wait to make it back!

Awesome little place. The waitress was pro. Knew everyone by name. Attentive. The food was way better than I expected for a small diner. Portobello Benedict. Damn that was good. No bread. Mushroom.
