The guys there are really nice and helpful they have bullets in stock so I picked up some for my husband the store is full of everything you need from fishing hunting grilling knives sunglasses bait boots they have it all.

Great service. I will be a return customer. The staff was very helpful and nice, they offered assistance but did not pressure you to buy. Prices were good/standard (I found no markup prices compared to online dealers) as well as having some sales on firearms. I recommend you to go in and purchase or inquire about their products. If youre not local I know they ship products as well. Im certain theyll assist your needs. 5 Stars for me.

Pretty cool place. They have a very healthy balance of items in all departments. Nice reloading section but lack on shot shell components. Staff are awesome. They will say hello and welcome, let you shop, or answer any questions. Great powder selection as well.

Great people to do business with. I purchase Blaze 14 Bream Poles which used to be a great pole but as of lately the quality has been a lots less than desired. They have a lifetime warranty and the last 4 I purchased lasted one or two fishing trips. I told the employees there I was ashamed to bring them back for so many times but they were very understanding. As a matter of fact I swapped the last 14 Blaze poles for 12 Blaze poles in hope of having better results. Keep in mind not a complaint on Southern Outdoor Sports, they are just a Dealer for Blaze Bream Poles.

Was looking for a holster for my ne CZ -P10 pistol couldnt find one went in and talked to the gun counter and told him what I was looking for and he went right to the wall and grabbed it. Fits perfectly for my pistol

The staff is super nice, there is a large selection in this small store. Often they run great sales on a variety of things. They have a decent selection of guns along with great prices. They fishing reel selection isnt the most extravagant but they have the essential needs for a serious angler.

Southern Outdoor Sports is a well stocked store. They always have plenty of staff on duty during operation hours. We were greeted upon our arrival, and thanked for our purchase. My advice is even if you know what youre looking for, and youre offered help then let them find it for you. Because if you dont tell them you need help when asked, then you will be asked every few steps by either the same employee or another. But other than that, prices are good. Overall, I liked it!

Wonderful store to purchase any type of outside activity. They have anything from knives, guns, bows, fishing rods, guns, duck callers, yetti coolers, Green egg and a variety of clothes. You can find most anything in this store and if you dont I am sure they will help get it for you. They are sweet and very helpful. This is a locally owned and operated store but they can beat the prices of the larger stores in town. I love this store!!!

I have been doing business with this store since the early 1980s when the Fuller family owned and operated it!......It is one of the most complete hunting/fishing stores in the city and the only complete outdoors hunting store in the area with a hometown,locally owned ownership/flavor!....Now that the Saliba Family has purchased it and they have retained most of the past staff, most of the past merchandise lines (Including reloading equip & supplies) along with several new lines of equipment and product ....I see this new ownership as a step forward ....a little bit of younger generation of pure outdoorsman themselves, that will only build upon what the Fuller family has started.I just happen to know Ricky and son Jason Who bought and run the shop and have to say, they are huge outdoorsmen as the Fuller family was and should be a smooth / successful transition for them...And a Continued Bonus of having a Locally Owned, Quality Outdoors shop to serve the Dothan Community for years to come!.....Great move Ricky/Jason...Thank you!

Southern Outdoor Sports is the leader in personal attention!Their knowledgeable, courteous personnel guide their clients to the products they are looking for as opposed to those at other retail outlets where employees just point to an aisle & let one fend for themselves.Recently I was greeted by 2 staff members as I entered the store & escorted to the firearms department where my many questions were answered. I received very helpful information from Chris H who helped me to purchase a Ruger rifle & some ammo.I look forward to returning for all my firearms & ammo purchases.

You would just have to shop here to fully grasp the magnitude of how much better a local business is than a franchise. Unbelievable customer service and a wide selection. They also carry live bait. If you cant find it, they will custom order it... If you cant afford their VERY competitive pricing, they have layaway too. How could it get any better? BEST STORE EVER.
