Has a great variety of sportswear, and equipment. Can never find help on the floor or they could sell A LOT more. A little pricy.They have some of the best sales during almost every holiday. Very good sales. Nice big parking lot. I shop here a lot.

This is a very nice store. The staff are very friendly and willing to help. The merchandise is high quality and well stocked.

A bit disappointing that the store is this close to GA but has no UGA merchandise. Also doesnt carry anything for professional teams like the Atlanta Braves.

The store is great, the cashier today however had a horrible attitude, didnt even speak one word to us, yes we were talking to her, she handed us our receipt while she was turned to the side looking away. We said thank you have a great day and she kept her self turned and did not acknowledge us. Register 1, at around 2:30 today. What is wrong with people hiring people like her? Terrible employee.

Store was in disarray. Not many items in store. Looked like they were rearranging sections. Normally this store is well organized. I was disappointed.

Got some great deals that we couldnt pass up. The staff were so kind and helpful.

Carries a large variety of sports gear and sportswear. It’s well organized but still somewhat difficult to navigate. It could use a few more knowledgeable employees working it’s floors as well it’s upfront checkout area. While it may carry a larger variety of goods you pay for the convenience at the register with what I think are slightly higher prices.

Went in and looked all over the place for what I was after. No one asked if they could help me so, I finally asked someone. The employee was talking on his phone through his earbuds and instead of showing me where the product was, he just pointed to the section of the store where it could be found.

If I could give Zero Stars I would. Called at 10:35 AM (CST) on May 21 to verify whether my item was in stock or not and was hung up on 5 times. Each time the phone rang until an associate physically picked up the receiver and hung up the phone. Online stated limited stock and needed to verify before driving 45 miles to the closest store for curbside pickup. Will be ordering directly from the manufacturer. I may wait longer to receive my items but at least they answer their phone/return emails.

Came to pick up an item, at 25 minutes of waiting I called and waited another 10 minutes before it came out. So if you arrive and no one responds after 5 minutes make sure to call.

I always find anything I am needing for myself or my family. From adult shoes to the kids sizes have a great variety. Any workout or sportswear to sportsgear during playing season we know where to go. Ordering online is also a huge convenience. Anytime especially during any sales items is when I make this my first place to stop!

They have the zip off pants and cool fit shirts at very reasonable price.

Found a very good sale 75% off clearance prices I got 4 pair of womens shoes I pair of toddlwt girls shoes and a pair of Nike toddler boys cleats and 6 shirts total was less that 80 dollars. However the store was a mess, and the store clerks werent the friendliest. So if you have the time to look and search its worth the deal but the service isnt too good.

Horrible, just plain horrible, waited in line over 30 mins, yes it was on Memorial Day weekend, but shezzz. There wasnt one cash register line that was backed up, forget needing a over ride if something didnt ring up right,took the store manger 15 mins just to get to cash register to type in a code!

Very helpful and friendly staff. They have a wide selection thats hard to find in the area.

Some of their employees are very rude I asked an employee to hold my basket said I had to go get my payment from my car I have left my wallet in my car because I didnt come back in immediately she made a comment that I wasnt coming back and basically implied that I was stealing luckily my husband was walking out the door and overheard them so we were able to confront them later until the manager. But I was highly offended by how their employees acted.

Sooo,I made a purchase on March 31st for i store pick up (clearly ordered online). The website told me I was able to pick it up the 7th of April. I get a text saying that I could pick it up Sunday, well it’s easter and most places hold it for 7 days. I then get a text today at 12:03 am saying my ordered was canceled due to it being out of stock. I immediately called the store when it opened to check on the status of my order. A gentleman (don’t know his name) told me yeah the system does that all the time, but he assured me yes I checked it’s here. I told him I would be by Friday to pick it up and pay since the system canceled it. He said okay and hung up. I called again tonight because I wanted to make sure they would not sale it out from under me. The young lady said yeah if someone wants it we sale it, asked her what time they closed and proceeded my way to the store. I got there AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW THEY CANT FIND MY ORDER. I sat in the store for an hour trying to figure something out due to the fact this is for my daughters birthday and EVERYWHERE is selling out extremely fast. I had to settle with a kind of downgrade of the swing set I wanted plus had to buy an additional swing that the one I originally wanted and ordered. I’ve worked in retail I know how it is but it is extremely frustrating to people who order something in hopes it will be here in time especially if it’s a gift. The manager knocked $100 off but money wasn’t the issue it’s the fact I wanted a certain swing and either someone lied, or they sold the swing under me. Either way it’s not right and they need to get a control on their system glitches or give there customers a call or email.

Needed some supplies and Academy is the best place to get most anything for Sports and Outside.

Love this store. My wife probably loves it more. Unfortunately I had to take 1 star because I called 4 times to get in stock questions answered. No one answered for 2 hours. I drove 72 miles one way to buy a swing set for my grand daughter only to pay for a swing that I was told was in stock and then was told had been out of stock for 2 weeks. Frustrating. Come on Academy, you guys are better than that! Heres a picture of what it should look like when it is set up some time in January.

I didn’t find any thing related to CrossFit

It is hard for people who need to use a scooter while they are shopping to get around. Things were put out in the middle of walkways, ladder left out in the way with no one around making use of it. BF just left because he couldnt navigate with the store scooter. Prices seemed high also. Was not impressed.

Im a fan of Academy, and there is nothing inheritly wrong with this store. My only complaint is how messy the store is from time to time and how hard it is to find help when you need it.

So its crowded today and they only have maybe 4 to 6 cashiers open when your capable of a lot more. The line is all the way back to the end of the store. Open some more registers please. Theres a sign on the door that states you should have a mask when entering the store 1/2 the people coming in dont have one just take down the sign. I applaw you for having what I needed. But I am not going to sit in your store that long. Its the holidays hire seasonal workers. I guess Amazon it is instead of getting it from you guys.

Terrible costumer service. Can not and did not supply costumer needs. My grandma bought a Lawrence and it was suppose to come with a tarp but it did not so we went back to get the tarp and they said that they could not give us one and that we had to bring back the lawrence to get a new one.

Employees aren’t friendly or helpful. They either don’t know or give a rude reply and still don’t help. Whoever is hiring them clearly don’t care if they do their job or if they are even capable of doing their job. If this had just happened once from one of the employee’s I would be inclined to believe that they had bad day and think nothing else about it. But when you ask or talk to several employees during the same visit and get the same responses it seems more like and overall store problem. You hire people that don’t care about their job and don’t want to do their job then you can’t really expect to have happy customers leaving nice reviews.
