I waited 7 hours to get 4 tires changed, and front struts replaced. The tire shop on 6 mile does it way quicker and way cheaper...... To add insult to injury, the young mechanic threw my spare tire on top of my back seats. When I asked him why he didnt just put it back up under the car, he had no clue to what I was requesting him to do. For that type of money, I will never come back.

My tire picked up a surprising large screw. As the air was leaking out, I needed a place to repair it. Turns out that I found this shop, that not only immediately repaired my tire but showed a level of kindness and professionalism that I hadnt seen in so long. Thank you!

Excellent service and communication when they fixed my entire braking system

Took my truck in for heating problem. They say its the heater core $550. Call me to pick it up and had me waiting an hour. Comes out and say yeah I replaced the heater core and the thermostat (never asked for a thermostat, wasnt what he told me when he diagnosed it) but you have crack head gasket. I get the car back all of a sudden Im have cracked head symptoms. $800 he say, I paid that and still my truck is running worst then ever. Didnt put my thermostat back in original spot. They rigged it somehow (pics). Also bought two new tires and one has a leak, rim wasnt sealed correctly. Just an all around horrible experience Im still putting out money for. So unprofessional.

Superior customer service and empathy for customers. I was treated like family and felt I was being cared for in a way I have never before at any auto shop.That being said, They failed to notice over MULTIPLE REPAIRS and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS what was actually causing the recurring problems with my cooling system. I went to a different shop after I moved and learned the truth within an hour--exhaust from my engine was leaking into my cooling system causing high pressures and system failure.Livernois Auto, if you care to contact me and make this right, I can adjust my overall rating accordingly.Edit: Manager Joe contacted me about my issues based only on my previous review of 2 stars. He took my car for a couple of weeks even when he was extremely understaffed and replaced the head gasket and some cooling components for me at a greatly reduced rate. I did need to bring it back in 3 times to tweak a few things or replace more cooling parts, but all was covered in full. The car seems stable now and has been for several months. Prior to coming here i had went to a couple places on livernois and they had no time to look at truck or i have to wait three hours. when i came here they were also very busy but they took the time to look at my truck. mr travis came out from behind the counter test drove my truck he seen i had ice buildup behind my tires and that was why it was vibrating very bad when i was driving. he took a pry bar knocked of the ice and my truck was fixed. he didnt charge me anything. i appreciate that they took the time to try to help me. great place to come honest and helpful..

I have been bringing my car here for the last 3 years and never had a problem. The shop supervisor is very knowledgeable and very helpful. She is always pleasant and very respectful to the customers. I have sent many people here to have their car serviced and they never had a complaint. Their prices for work seem fair and reasonable besides being able to easily finance if needed.

A new set of tires and a complimentary wheel alignment that showed me further issues with my vehicle. Was able to be repaired same day. Very Happy

I brought my car here a few months ago do not go here they will scam you over if you dont know about cars. Everything was poor here especially customer service. And they broke something on my car that had to be fixed.My car is riding worse than what it was before i got work done. Brand new rotors on the car and their already rusted completely out. Last but not least..I asked for exhaust upgrade..all they did is weird a pipe on and charged me 500 dollars. It is horrible...Karma has something nice lined up for them😈

They wouldnt accept my Goodyear credit card and I was missing items out of my auto when they towed my car back home. They wanted to charge me $1097.00. They told me that my plastic gas tank needed to be replaced and that I needed another fuel pump, yet they drove my car off the back of the tow truck and the tank didnt have a dent in it.Items stolen from my vehicle while it was on your lot are as follows: a hydraulic floor jack, a portable defroster, a GPS unit and a fold up wagon. My car was neither jimmied or broken into.

I was qutied a price of $59.99 last week to get my AC charged now that we have a heatwave a week later the price jumos to $79.99 i will never do business again with them and i will tell all my neighbors and co workers about this,After posting this reviewd i received a phone call from Goodyear rxplaining the price misquote, after hearing it was a training issue, Its more understandable, if i had been told that in the beginning i would have had a different reaction. First off I have been going here for over 7 years as a customer now I was coming to get my oil changed today it is super cold by the way and its cold in their building cuz theres no heat on now I walk in the guy says how can I help you I said can I get my oil change he says have you been here before I said yes a lady walks in she stands behind me he says are you guys together I said no he said so shes first well excuse me I was standing here you were servicing me youre going to let me pay my money and youre going to change my oil but now Im about to use my services elsewhere youre rude and it was two of them one was just on the phone not even doing anything and it was enough time for him to make the transaction do everything they needed to do but he wasnt he was just standing there looking at the guy and they were looking at each other like they were both dumbfounded so evidently they have no customer service skills this is a zero I would not go here at all

Hello my name is rob, I have a 2008 charger rt, I came in for a oil change then they gave my vehicle a safety inspection and I did not know I was control arms were so lose, should of known from all the bouncing around I was getting when driving. got them fixed and now im riding smooththankyou folks!

Had to have my car towed after hours. Called the next day to have flat tire fixed. They charge a very reasonable rate and put on a good used spare tire. They’re very busy but seem to juggle the business and are great guys

Only problem i ever had was they charged me for 4 gallons of dex-cool and my car still didnt have any dex-cool when i checked it had to fill it myself they prices are kinda high but the work is good and customer service is good so its worth the price

They very fast but you understand why later because they didn’t fix what was suppose to be the issue. I went to them because my car would not turn over, they called and said that it was my alternator, battery, and brakes and rotors. He said $850. I paid $550 for alternator and battery and got my brakes done else where for a much cheaper price. Then a week later my car start doing the same thing, I tow it back up there because they were the ppl that supposedly had fixed it. They call and say “well it’s your mass air flow sensor and you need a solenoid that will be $690” i asked “well can I get a discount or is there a cheaper route because I was just here last week for the same issue” mike says nonchalantly “no there’s no cheaper route nor a discount”! So I went to get my parts on my own and came out of 450! The same day i get it back it doesn’t start up and my trunk don’t shut!!!!!!! Now they are saying it’s the fuel pump! I HATE THIS PLACE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK! They don’t try to accommodate you or take responsibility of their wrong doings! I advise everyone to not go here! They are scams!!!!!!!!!

My son took his car here to get serviced for a repair on his gear shift. It was repaired so he thought and within a month the same problem happened again. He had it fixed (2nd time) and was charged because they stated it happened because some one tried to steal his Car. Which was untrue. After the second repair my son had his car for a week and same problem occurred again so he had to get his car towed from his location which was in port Huron Back to their shop in Detroit. In the meantime of all this happening my son is waiting for them to finish the repairs waiting on a phone call to let him know his car is ready and it took them two weeks before he could finally get access to his car. When he gets there they tell him he owes a balance of $200. Unaware that he would have to come out of pocket again.... the warranty should have taken care of what they didn’t do the first time. Lack of funds he had to wait until the following week to get his car. At this point he tries to pay and pick up vehicle and they now tell him that he owes the $200 plus towing fees instead of disclosing the full balance when he spoke with them last. (Which is now another $115). In the meantime as he’s ready to pay the shop is constantly telling him your car is in storage and it’s on its way here. Everyday for a month my son was not able to get his car because of the constant lying on the where abouts of his car. His car is now paid for and he’s still waiting for it. I finally told my son to make a police report regarding the issues he’s been encountering with this shop. It still took almost a week after the police report was made to retrieve his vehicle. His vehicle was in a car accident, his radio was stolen, personal belongings he had in his trunk and the gas he had in his car was gone. Mike which was the person working the front desk, that took his money ($315) for his car was rude and carried a don’t care attitude as if our service meant nothing. He also had the audacity to say that “my son don’t need his car”. Who are you to make that judgement and treat us in this manner. After my son finally was to get his car up his car they told him that they were not responsible for his vehicle. We are filing a suit against them and putting our experience out for other consumers to take their business else where. The worst experience ever. Youre trusting in them to service and care for your property and this is what happens.

PLEASE stay away from this place. The guy had me do a repair loan then ran up the price on me, had extra work done that was never authorized and forged my signature onto a contract I never seen. Complete rip off. My car is still running funny after they charged me $2000 I didn’t agree to. They deserve to be shut down ASAP

Do not go to this place for any services they are highly over priced and will allow your vehicle to get broken into. My moms radio was stolen out of her car before her repairs were completed she was told it would be replaced and it has not been.

DO NOT VISIT THIS GOODYEAR LOCATION. They are very rude. They barely listen to you when you describe your problem. You will most likely have to repeat yourself to everyone you deal with. They will have you waiting for hours at a time and rush to do the work on your vehicle. I visited this location to have a spare removed and a tire put on my car. Not less than 30 minutes after having completing the job, the tire was flat again. That was when I discovered and was also told by my mechanic that the rim was bent and not sealed; and the tire was still forced onto the car despite this issue. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Worst experience ever and while i was waiting on my truck in their lobby, their were customers in their complaining about being done wrong and making threats to the manager and he did not handle it professionally and on top of that they didnt even do the job correctly and messed up my rim and didnt even tell me and sent me down the road with my rim not even on properly and they are very lucky the tire didnt fall off and cause me and my newborn to have a crash. They would have had a lawsuit on their hands and not just a bad review. What i asked for was very simple and i could have done it myself if i hadent been broke down on the side of the road (without proper tools) and i dont understand how the safety of your customers is not important. I definitely would NOT recommend this business to anyone!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

The Absolute Worst!!! I went in with a coupon for a $9.99 oil change with free tire rotation and safety inspection. I was charged $12.50 for the oil change and $10.00 for the tire rotation and they didnt even do the safety inspection. I asked the manager why was I charge a different price and he said it shouldnt make a difference if Im paying the same amount I would some where else. Its not the point of the amount....... they should have honored their coupon. Their service sucks, my co-worker went in to get brakes and rotors, 2 weeks later his car started squeaking when he touched the brakes and now they are talking about more work for more money. You try to keep business in the neighborhood but you cant cause the establishment are con - artists.
