I went to this location about a week ago my tire was completely flat! They guys there are very nice and professional very quick service. They put my car’s donut on for me for no charge at all! They made a bad day good! I recommend this location for sure!!

I just moved back to the city of Detroit and this was my first POSITIVE experience besides the blessing of our family home here. During the rain flood yesterday, I got a nail in my tire, I was like,” oh boy! Where can I go near home?!” While living in the suburbs,, there were many places to go within distance so this was a task oh but no it wasn’t, I found Midtown Goodyear Tires just up the street! I took my car in, left it for a couple of hours because they were just that busy, a good thing! When I picked.my car up, the gentleman told me it was FREE! FREE?!! So you plugged and patched it and I pay nothing? Well, even in the suburbs I would pay for that! They were a life saver! I was heading home after a long day and found my tire going flat. I made it to the shop a half hour before closing and they fixed it right away! They were friendly, have excellent service and I highly recommend them!

Needed my flat tire patched or spare put on. It was around 420, so close to closing time. But they quickly remove my tire and replaced with the spare. They were unable to patch my tire due to whole to big to patch. I was out and on the road home by 505 pm. No charge. Great place. Highly recommend.

This place is a ripp off. Ive used them in the past because I lived nearby, buy their prices are high & they are pretty slow. I called today to get a price to swap out my winter wheels for my summer wheels (I have 2 complete sets of wheels) and they gave me a price of $120! Thats insane.

These folks straight-up patched my tire within a day at no charge and equalized the air in the others and were friendly and never tried to get me to buy anything extra

Had a catalytic converter stolen and brought it here to get fixed due to it being close to where I live.1. Had to be the middleman for the insurance company and these guys because they “don’t usually work with insurance”2. 4 months later had to take it to another shop and get the work done on it fixed again, costing me more money.

HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH GOOD YEAR!Worst tires ever. I got brand new tires from them and paid a lot of money. I thought it would take 2 to 3 years before I would need to change my tires. Right after one month, one of my tires got damaged badly. I had to call AAA to help me even though good year had a policy for assistance but they avoided helping me out.Even though I had a warranty and protection plan with them, they did not give me a new tire. They repaired the old tire somehow and I am afraid to take car for long trips because of their services.They make you wait like forever! I wasted entire day chasing them to change my car tire.The only reason why I went to get tires from them was that this brand usually has good quality tires but I was very wrong. Not recommended at all.

We had a blown out tire and had waited all day for a tow truck to come and get us. We called Good year and they said that they can fix it for us if we got it there before they close. The tow truck FINALLY came and we were able to get the car to Goodyear by 4:45, and they close at 5pm! Most other auto repair shops reasonably refused to service us after 4pm since they close at 5pm, but Goodyear on E. Grand Blvd went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did they fix our one blown out tire, but they were able to replace all FOUR tires in about 20minutes !! THANK YOU GOODYEAR for really helping us out! I would highly recommend this location for their stellar work and customer service !!!

Dropped my car off on the 20th for what amounted to a rear brake job and an oil change. Its now the 24th, with no estimate of when it will be done. If your supplier takes this long to get you parts then get a new supplier.

First time here and very impressed. Took my old Lexus in for oil change and tire rotation. Spoke to Tony the manager. He was very helpful and friendly. Car was done in reasonable time and price was nice. They also gave me a list of everything little thing that needed fixing on my tired old car. Tony was honest in terms of what was urgent to do now ( unsafe ) and what can wait. I would go back here for sure.

Went in Christmas week to get my steering alignment fixed and an oil change. My steering wheel was tilted to the left when the car was driving straight and the whole thing would shake if I got over 75mph. After three days of waiting around with no real communication and some honest to god hostility I got my car back only to find that now the steering wheel is tilted to the right and the car still shakes. I was also given the wrong quote and paid an extra 90 dollars when all was said and done, not to mention I missed church with my family because they were late giving me my car back.Ive had some good experiences here but I will most definitely not be coming again. The worst part is that I feel like I need to be compensated for paying for something that wasnt fixed but I honestly dont even want these guys working on the car again.

Went to this place because its close to my house, but really i would not recommend this place. Guy upfront i think his name is tony, he told me to leave my car for 8 hours for something simple and i have a warranty on it. Came in early expecting to leave early but leaving my car there and walking back home and then going to pick up my car. I mean management or corporate gotta do something about it. They receiving bad reviews from other people, i should’ve believed them.

A tire on my car had a slow leak. It was repaired faster than any previous experiences I had with flat tires. Although the team didnt tell me how soon I would be on my way, it was something about the way they talked that made me think that I would be soon. I was surprised at how soon, they worked fast and efficiently. I was surprised when a tech came into the waiting area to tell me the job was completed. I highly recommend patronizing this location. I know that I will be for future needs.

I ordered the oil change and tire rotation for my minivan. The knocking sound appeared in the car a few miles after the service. I believed that this was just due to my shaking fender (it was untighten by unknown reason during that service). Unfortunatelly, I was wrong: one of the wheels came out from the car on a country road. The wheel,with its bolts, my car body and fender were damaged. The tire & car service neglected to check that the wheel(s) are properly tighten during the tire rotation service. Complaing to the company, the state inspection and BBB did not help. Beware!

I woke up with a big problem earlier this week: a flat tire. I am from out of town so I was unsure where to go get it repaired. Luckily, this Goodyear location was right up the street and they were able to fix the tire in about one hour and had me back on the road.Tony provided me with full invoice of work that they did yesterday. Total charge was $0.00. It is not often that people will do work on your car for free and I was very pleased. Feeling somewhat guilty, I left a tip so that the guys in the back could buy themselves a little lunch.If I ever need new tires in Detroit, I know where I will be going!

Im making an appointment rt.now for new tires

I was there for 2.5 hours for a warranty tire repair and was notified that the tire would need to be ordered, so then I had to wait another half hour for them to order the tire. They could not tell me when the tire would be in. So now Im driving with no spare, for how long?, who knows. Oh yeah, they want $72 just to install and warranty the tire I paid for.

They did a good job but they werent very customer oriented and they took a little long than what I would think to finish paperwork.

Would be less than a 1 if possible first I came to the shop at 435 and was waiting on the tow truck to pull up with my car just to get the tire replaced because I caught a flat they said if he wasn’t there in 5 mins I’d have to leave the car there for 2 days until Monday to get it fixed. Monday comes around and they tell me $200 for one tire not including if I need the rim fixed mind you I caught the flat and immediately stopped driving. Then they tell me that they will have to move my car and all damage is my fault if any occurres during that process. Needless to say I go and buy a tire somewhere else for $79 and bring it up there and they don’t greet me and act as if I’m not there worst service I’ve ever received

Best customer service I’ve experienced from an auto place. I was literally treated like family. And they were so fast!! I really appreciated that the mechanics let me look at my car and showed me exactly what was wrong with it- so I know I’m not being taken for a ride (at least not financially). Overall, fantastic- Highly reccomend.

I got a flat tire after work one evening and had to have my car towed to this Goodyear since it is within walking distance from my home. I dealt with Melissa there and I can say that she was great! I needed all new tires and she gave me their price and allowed me to shop around for a lower prices which she told me that Goodyear would match as long as it was the same brand and tire. I cant speak for other people there, but if you go here, ask for Melissa (shes the only female there) and she will work with you, esp if youre on a budget like I was. She was honest, fair and flexible with me and cant say enough about how she really helped me out when I was in a tough spot.

I came today to get new tires and an oil change. I was having some issues with my credit card and Lantz really took his time to get my account and card figured out. Tires and oil changes are standard, the amazing customer service and kindness is why I continue to bring my vehicles here.

Would not recommend this place. 3 hours waiting for alignment plus they broke off my left driver engine splash guard. Never again.

Skip was very helpful in a scary situation. Was in Detroit for a work trip and got a screw in my tire. Skip patched it up in about 45 minutes, made sure my air pressure was good, and didn’t charge me a dime! Apparently they do free flat repairs. Could not have been happier with the service!

I do not recommend going to this business even when you feel its necessary. Had to come in for a tire replacement and they tried to charge me 50 dollars more for the exact same tire that was cheaper at Belle and Discount. I received way too much attitude from the manager. They did eventually price match (after too much haggling and explaining) but left a bad taste in my mouth. Then they proceeded to take an hour and a half to actually put the tire on when there was only two customers in the entire shop, including myself.

They always do great work on my vehicle.

Even though they were very busy, since its pot-hole season and all, they were able to get me in last minute and patient enough to take the time to work with my tire insurance company so that i could make a claim to be reimbursed. Very friendly and personable.

Came to the shop on a Saturday afternoon and the guys were all backed up. My friends and I were on a road trip and needed to leave the same day. One older gentleman came to the car after his co-workers told us they wouldnt have time to look at the car today and sent us on our way. The older man saw my friend lifting the hood to check the brake fluid. Thankfully, he came over and drove the car around the block to feel the brakes. He directed us to another Goodyear shop and few blocks down. Very grateful for this man.

Do not EVER go to this place. Went in for a tire after having a blow out in traffic and let them know I was in a rush. An hour and a half later, I was told that they did a total inspection of my car and I needed some other repairs. I was simply there for a tire! Very rude assistant manager threw my money and keys at me, refused to tell me what they were doing under my hood, and call the cops.The very next day, I notice the lug nuts were all loose, and my car was shaking and smoking. The repair guys did something to my car!Currently, I am in the process of filing a complaint against this store and possibly taking legal action. DO NOT GO HERE! I would have been better off calling a tow truck and getting towed home, I would have spent less money and I would still have my car.

None of the employees had a mask on, the entire mood was nonchalant. Made an appointment online and came in early to drop off vehicle and no record had been made, had to re-enter all of my information. The entire place and experience was extremely unprofessional.

Horrible service, brought the car in for a nail in the tire, tire never fixed, went low overnight. Made me buy a sensor for the tire, now the tire sensor light is on when its never been on before. Had the car for six hours for a tire. Place needs a new staff.Guys are old timers who dont want to work, pace themselves to limit the work load, comfortable and play the system because they know it so well. Time for a fresh, motivated staff or a boss who inspects what they expect. Until then..... the place will be a 6 hours for tire service shop, which is unheard of, and will surely loose revenue and run into the ground.

In my opinion this is the best tire and repair shop in Midtown Detroit in order to go to believe it or not they will fix a flat tire that only needs a plug for free if youre a customer of theirs as Ive been for number years the general manager has been here for 15 years and he super this is the only tire shop that if you have a high-end vehicle that has chrome rims that they can even do rim repair if you have an air leak for instance for about $21 theres no other tire place that Ive ever been to that could accomplish that feat for such little money I highly recommend I have a 2006 Jaguar XJ8
