The crew here at A&S are nothing short of amazing! Professionalism at its best! Sam and the rest of the crew perform top notch repair at an affordable rate. They take their time in inspecting all vehicles and prioritize the repairs needed. They dont hit you all at once with a huge bill. This was my 1st time there. I was treated like a Queen. Many cars to be repaired. Took me w/in 10 min. Out in 45 min. Fixed my A/C. Very reasonable price for my trouble. This is my new all around service shop from now on

I know Sam from the beginning (around 2006) when he started the shop. He have done all kind of jobs from oil change to transition/engine work in different cars from Audis to Chevy, and I can tell he is a very knowledgeable mechanic; no tricks, no games been played here. He may not be the least expensive but surely not the most either, he charges what needed to make the business survive. And for the ones complaining about Ali been too tough, I mean these guys are located in Detroit, hello!, if you have thin skin and cant handle that go to Grosse Pointe shops then ( and pay double) for the extra smiles, just saying.

I called this service center and asked about the advertisement concerning a vehicle for sale online.I then made an appointment with the manager to test drive the vehicle and afterward made an earnest money offer to purchase. The manger was very honest and informative, everything about the vehicle was disclosed and I agreed to purchase, the seller was very gracious by reducing the asking price and made the sale possible. I now own the same vehicle and will return to do business with said manger in the future, I have never had a better experience in my entire life, and was treated like royalty by the staff and all the employees. I gotta go back again for the 3rd time for a job they said they fixed twice, the guy Al has a bad attitude, Sam says he will fix the issue, at this point I just want my money refunded, Ive had work done here before but now Im wondering about previous work Ive paid them for.. I have school, work and time i need to spent with son not with A n S auto..Please i just want a Refund... I guess its another bad Part from whom ever there getting there parts from..Not..

My car was repaired quickly.

Took my car in to get checked because it was driving funny. They told me they rebuilt the frontend and changed the brakes. The put the wrong brake pads on and ground down my calibers so make the wrong pads fit. After the $2500 I paid them I had to pay another shop an additional $729 to correct their purposely done mistake. (Sabotage)

Reliable mechanics, no problems fixed my van and it runs like new ask for Sam.

Listen folks...I dont sugar coat anything. Ever. That being said, I have looked all my adult life for an honest, reliable and capable mechanic. I have been going to Sam for 8 years now. He is honest and is a fantastic mechanic and family man. I urge all Detroit Eastsiders and Grosse Pointe residents to discover their great work and service. His employees Ray & Al are great too.They have kept my Caddy on the road all these years and I am at 294,000 miles now. Although I will be replacing my car soon, they will have my business for the rest of my life.The people who say bad things here either are posting about the wrong shop, or are being dishonest in their reviews. Sam has a conscience, a proper conscience. Something so rare in mechanics ( and attorneys for that matter lol)Anyway, I hope this helps you decide better if you are on the fence about where to get your car fixed or simply getting maintenance done. I hate going to shops but i trust and love them...i can trust thier word a 1 work re did motor on 1999 yukon...and recent work on a 1999 bravada .....

I called about an overheating issue with my 2001 Cadillac Deville. I told them the issue had been established by myself and two other mechanics. He quoted me his advertised price over the phone. Once I arrived he told me to leave the car outside and began to tell me everything else I would need to have done or my car would still overheat after the job was done. More valves, spark plugs n boots, 4 more gaskets, (4) gallons of coolant, oil, and on and on...he has a listed price and the same price he quoted me over the phone for the (head gasket overheating issue) but the end price was 450.00 dollars more!!! and he said those additional things had to be done or my car would still over heat. Again, he never looked at my car or gave me any option to opt-out of any additional repairs. Its a scam. Hes rude, condescending, arrogant and foolish.

There Service is great

Owner and workers are very nice And helpful. Definenlty know what there doing when it comes to any suspension work, electrical repair, and major and minor engine work. These guys do a great job as they rebuilt the engine on my 1996 Thunderbird. Job was done in short ammount of time and havent had issues with the vehicle since. Car has had both lower control arms replaced as well as front calipers. No problems! and i recommend this establishemnt to anyone that needs work done to their vehicle
