Cute little spot next to the marina, great views! All seating is outdoors, love the Adirondack chairs and plenty of other seating, some is covered. Great selection of wine, beer, and some cocktails. Simple food menu nothing too elaborate just sandwiches but have seen an occasional food truck parked outside. Dog friendly!

We enjoyed this little gem. Great little spot to have a glass of wine and a snack. Great views of the ocean & mountains, it pairs well with wine. On a hot day in Seattle, we found it much cooler near the water. Friendly staff. Dog friendly

Had a wonderful outdoor lunch with family and enjoyed a Channel Marker Cider with lunch that we had never tasted before. Believe me...we will soon be back for that cider! What a super end to a beautiful day at the Marina.

There was plenty of seating outside overlooking the marina. The menu was limited with mostly sandwiches being available. I got the tuna melt which was pretty good. They also offer a few sweets and chips along with beers, wine and cider. It was a nice spot to relax for a bit.

I love this place. It is a small structure that sells wine, beer, cider, and snacks. It is right in the marina near the pier, and you get the nice ambience of fresh air, saltwater, and sunshine (in summer!) They do have a bit of covered space for when the rainy season comes back. A lot of their beers cider and wines are local. Cant wait to go back every Friday!

Ive wanted to try Quarterdeck for quite a while and it didnt disappoint -- its a great place to grab a drink and hang out with friends. Plenty of beer, wine, and coffee options as well as snacks, different seating options, and you cant beat the setting along the Des Moines marina. 👍, recommend it.

This is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine by the marina. I love to sit on the deck with a book and a cider and watch the boats and the water. A perfect seaside spot to enjoy the sunset with a friend and a glass of wine. They also have coffee and espresso drinks.

The best experience you can ask for love that this is in our back yard. Just wish we had discovered earlier in the summer so I could have enjoyed it all summer long!

Nice place by the marina with outside seating and limited food and drink options. Paid parking is the only option and they have no way to validate the parking. EDIT: Apparently they do offer parking vouchers for 2 hours. We asked if they validated parking but were told no. I guess we used the wrong terminology and should have asked for a voucher instead.

Fantastic outdoor area. Great beer line up, fantastic coffee and the panini sandwiches are a delicious. Very good place for the covid regulations, clean, open and relaxing.

The Quarterdeck is an awesome place to hang out, socialize, and enjoy a beverage while getting prime marina views that few other places have. The service is friendly and suited to the establishment. They recently added a panini selection that I enjoy and occasionally sponsor local artists to perform. I always make a point to drop by the Quarterdeck while walking around the marina.

What a great place! Delicious Nutella filled muffin cups, chocolate croissants and steamed vanilla or chocolate for our kids. Adults can enjoy Belgian white, IPA’s, selected wines and cider. Glad it’s finally open! No need for a wallet, they take Apple Pay.

This is a nice place to go for a coffee/ espresso or beer/wine. They have a limited food menu (which I havent tried). Seating is dog friendly outside with a nice view of the marina and Puget Sound. There is a tent in back with space heaters for rainy weather. They do a good job dealing with Gov. Inslees rediculous covid-19 mandates.

The quarterdeck is a great little place on the Des Moines Marina to look out over the boats and the water, while enjoying snacks, beer, wine, sodas, or coffee. a true gathering place that is also quaint and romantic. A true gem tucked away in Des Moines!

Quarterdeck is one of our fav places to go; Fathers Day was our first outing since the whole Covid issue began. We took a far seat at the end of the outside deck to social distance and felt relatively good about the signs posted on the table regarding social distancing, etc. HOWEVER, surprisingly, the proprietor, with no mask on, went from table to table, chatting with customers, socializing, etc, and when he approached our table, several times, we all were uncomfortable. As a proprietor, he above all people, should wear a mask if he wants to integrate with the array of customers - so that ALL customers who would like to patronize his establishment, and still try to remain safe, can do so without an unexpected visit from him with no mask -- after he has visibly spoken to, and been in close proximity to, multiple other patrons.

Such a cool spot! They have unique beers and wines, and the view cant be beat. Its right on the walkway next to the water and easily accessible from the parking lot. They also have coffee and snacks. I love that you can bring your own food or order from a delivery service. Service was great and I cant wait to go back!

The staff is great. Looks unorinized when you first walk up. Location is a benefit for sure. The menu isnt that great. The wine and beer sells its self coffee wasnt that great.

Ive been taking walks to the marina for months now and always passed this place. I never stopped by because I thought they were expensive. I decided one day to stop in and grab a beer and was surprised that they were priced almost exactly the same as going to a bar. 5-5.50 for a beer + a beautiful view of the marina = worth it. Id rather drink at the quarterdeck than be inside without a view drinking. My 2 cents.

Cute place built out of a shipping container in a nice spot for Des Moines visitors and residents. On the marina, for anyone ranging from boaters to fishing enthusiasts to dog-walkers, it’s currently the only option for a quick bite or drink...we need more businesses on the waterfront, so Quarterdeck is a trailblazer.Yes, their prices are a little on the high side, but as the only game in town (at least on the waterfront) it’s their option and privilege to set prices as they see fit (I agree, though, that the wine pours could be more generous and $4 for a drip coffee is high). The closest other options are at least a 15 minute walk, so I’m OK paying a premium for the convenience.They also have some very nice French-style demi-baguettes they get from a good Seattle bakery...you can’t find that anywhere nearby.As they grow and evolve, it will be nice to see how they expand and diversify their offerings.Great start!
