An awesome woman-owned small business with great coffee and even an online shop to get you started brewing quality coffee at home! Andrea (the owner) is very helpful with any questions or working out any issues. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great relaxing meeting here and loved the atmosphere ! Locally roasted coffee beans, wonderful husband and wife team! Danishes and cookies and lattes, Americana coffee. The name Dreiberge means 3 mountains in German ! So come experience a great new coffee shop in Des Moines at 111 E Grand Ave #desmoines #iowa

Simple menu, sophisticated brew, welcoming atmosphere (bonus - innovative to-go cups). I met a career contact there, sat comfortably at the long social table, and enjoyed conversation without having to speak over neighboring voices.I ordered an Americana to go and had the pleasure of speaking with one of the owners, who was delightful and welcoming. The coffee was robust but not overpowering; complex without an acidic or burnt flavor. The eco-friendly to-go cup stood out for the simple design and holds temps longer than I expected.Well definitely be back for more coffee and conversation!

What an incredible place for coffee. The barista, Joe, was very knowledgeable and a joy to chat with. The equipment at DreiBerge and attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal. I love the story behind the three mountains. My fennel maple latte was robust and unique. Seriously, take time to support this family business instead of the endless chains out there. They are worth every visit!

For true coffee lovers and newbies alike! These people love their coffee and the process. Pour overs as well as numerous espresso options. On tap cold brew, kombucha, and Nitro cold brew. A nice selection of teas as well. So many delicious baked goods with GF and vegan options. There is a play area for kids with blocks, books, and a padded floor. Perfect place to meet friends, study, & work a bit.

Newest family business in the neighborhood. Meaningful name (referencing their 3-kids), friendly & fun folks (husband-wife owned), modern + contemporary decor, & good vibes in this place. Highly recommend stopping by to say hi to one of their owners or staff & stay awhile sipping any of the beverages available: coffee, tea, kombucha, lemonade. Or better yet, end a hot summer day with an affogato!😋 If youve never had one...youre missing out!Been meaning to stop by for a while & am glad I did. Will be spreading the word.

Incredibly impressed with this shop! Visited DSM for the 4th of July and DreiBerge Coffee was one of the few shops open. Great service and the app (Joe) was easy to use. The Nitro was smooth and balanced. Love their eco friendly “Butterfly Cup.”

Beautiful interior, very helpful and friendly staff! And of course, very good coffee. I always get their cold brew when I go in (I should probably branch out...).As beautiful as this place is, theres one more thing that I really like about it . . . They have a play area for kids! Yep. It makes taking my son places so much easier, when he actually has stuff to do. Much appreciated DreiBerge!Highly recommend! (Whether youve got kids or not!)

Friendly and welcoming staff, quiet environment for conversations or work/studying, and great coffee! With local roasting and a focus on paper/plastic waste reduction (among other things), they place a strong emphasis on traceability and social/environmental responsibility. Simple menu, but their options are high quality. DreiBerge is a go-to for me!

The coffee was delicious. I got a cappuccino and the flavor of the coffee was fantastic. They have a very cool interior with nice wood tables and cool stools. The employees were very friendly, and the to-go cups are a cool, bio-friendly design that Ive not seen before. Will be coming back for more coffee soon!

Pro: Childrens play areaCons: NO flavor selection. They dont even have caramel, let alone hazelnut, mint, almond, or many other common flavors Just chocolate, vanilla, and a couple unusual flavors like salted date. You must pay extra if you want your drink to be sweet, and the only sweetener option is simple syrup (sugar water). Cold and angular hipster aesthetic with hard chairs, bright lights guys, and wasted space. And parking is annoying, either parallel park at a meter or go to the city ramp around the block. If you want a nice place to settle in cozy chair with a sweet comforting drink, gentle background music, and a nice atmosphere, this isnt it. Very disappointed.

It is better if you plan on sitting and drinking a drink there. What was most disappointing was they wont make a cortado to go unless you bring your own cup. Would have been nice to know. But also, the to go cups leave a cardboardy taste with the coffee which is a little off putting.TLDR: Drinks great if you stay in house. To go not so much.

Havent tried any of the coffee yet, but I had some amazing blueberry kombucha here, brewed in Waukee. The $4 price tag is really inexpensive compared to what you pay for fresh kombucha elsewhere, and the flavor is a lot better here. The wooden tables, clean environment, and vegan options are also great.
