M&E is Excellent! So I had a hole in my exhaust system last year and the car sounded like a jet engine. The car is 25 years old and has almost 200K miles on it. If I kept driving the car as-is, I would have had hearing loss, so I had to have it fixed. I took it into M&E and they told me that the part would be about $120, and then labor. I said well, I suppose that its got to be done, so lets go ahead. Then the mechanic started looking off into the distance as he was thinking this through. He told me that for $60, he could cut out the bad section of the pipe and weld in a length of good pipe, instead of me having to pay for an entire new unit. So for $60 I ended up with a nice, quiet exhaust system. Definitely an honest guy who wasnt going to charge me any more than necessary. Thank you M&E!
