Robert gave me the best experience a couple of days ago, It was a great time he set us up with new phones and I couldnt be happier! I know they are there for sales but he did not make me feel pressured asked the right questions to get our whole family set up (Me, My Wife, and 2 kids) If we ever go back we will definitely be asking for Robert again!

The girl that works there by the name of Jordyn is extremely hateful and just acts like youre wasting her time. Go somewhere else to buy a phone. Went up to Wichita and got taken care of with GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE that the Derby location lacks. Oh, and come to find out, Jordyn gave us wrong information and just caused more of a headache for us.

Nice clean store, employees are nice but could use training on how to get infor from old phone to new. We bought 2 phones and were told we would have to activate and port to new phone ourselves. Of course we had problems It took 3 trips back to the store for help. Took 2 days but got it done. Phones are great...now.

Drove out of my way to this store because the guy at the North Rock store called Derby (after being super helpful and wonderful) and they said they had 2 of the phone I was upgrading to in stock. Got there and turns out they didnt. Workers were rude and dismissive about the false information they gave. Should have driven back up to North Rock and given my business to them.

Very poor customer service. Ive been in this location approximately 5 times in three years. Only once did I speak with someone who was willing to help - unfortunately he could not, the issue needed a manager. Last time I went in the gentleman was arrogant, rude and unwilling. It was also my last trip to this store. Ive shopped at 5611 E Harry, 620 S West St and 4819 S Washington Ct - and each time I was able to find the assistance I needed. Derby may have a convenient location, but with the caliber of service its just not worth the time to try.

Drove there to be told I need an appointment, thats understandable and made one for the next day. Drove all the way there again to be told that we should just order curbside pickup, then told directly after that they dont have my phone in stock anymore even though the website says it is. Great waste of time and still dont have a new phone.

WOW, terrible customer service. I called to switch servive from Sprint to Verizon. After spanish lingo and 2 minutes of covid B.S. that we all know I was told no one is available. I am very happy that you are doing so well you do not need to sign up new customers. I will look else whereI decided to give Verizon another chance since I hate Sprint so much. After 3 minutes of listening to a computer and multiple efforts to speak to a real person, I was hung up on. The computer said it did not recognize my number, DUH I am not a Verizon customer and will never be. Getting treated terribly twice is enough. This company sucks!!!

Terrible wait times, poor service, poor communication, after you get in the store they just send you to the customer service phone for an endless hold, they cant even handle a repair or replacement in house. Definitely shopping other services now. Not worth the hassel.

Used to be fantastic. They were helpful, etc. The screen protector came off of my phone. So I ran to get a new one on my work break.After I paid $30 for one, I was informed that I had to put it on myself. Or take it to a place 30 min out of the way and pay MORE money. I tried putting it on like I was told I had to. I followed the directions EXACTLY. It wont stick to the curved side. Its in fact not sticking to my phone at all. The agent Told me he couldnt put it on because they couldnt guarantee it, if it came off. So Im assuming if I try to return it, they will claim I did it wrong. $30 down the toilet. Verizon has gone down hill. And their standars response is NOT to tell you to come in and allow them to make it right, but that they hope to do better on the next visit. Ha....awaiting my standard copied/pasted response...we are sorry ______ that we disappointed you. _______ Is very important to us. We hope you have a better experience on your next visit. They are trying to make people make appointments then they don’t honor the appointment. They let walk ins that were there before your appointment go first. No one answers when you call. I waited 35 minutes and no one picked up. Every time I come here I get poor service.

The wait time is an issue but our experience with the staff was worse. I am having issues with my phone and went in to see if I could get a new phone. No, I couldnt because my phone had damage on the side. No, I cant get a new phone because my current phone is not paid off. Ok. Once he reckoned he wasnt going to be able to sell me a phone, he was done. I tried to tell him I was having some technical issues as well but he wouldnt help with that. I felt like he did wish to deal as soon as he determined he couldnt sell a phone. So I am still having technical issues that I dont know what to do about. I felt dismissed and disrespected as a customer. It is all about the money and nothing about the customer service.Needless to say, we will be switching carriers as soon as possible.

Micah who works the Derby branch did an awesome job helping me - when others there couldnt or didnt seem to want to spend the time.Micah did, and he make trading providers easy with his extra care and attention to detail. I have been a Verizon customer for 12 years and never had as bad of customer service as I did at this store. I walked in and not one employee ask me if I needed help. I walked around looking to upgrade my phone and still nobody made an effort to help me. Maybe Sprint is willing to work with me.

Fast service too bad the company itself is a soul sucking behemoth that makes itself nearly impossible to deal with. They punish their long term customers by giving better deals to new accts. Why should someone that just walked in off the street get a better deal than an entire family that has been with Verizon for almost 20 years? Seems a company would seek to retain their existing customers lest they wander over to another company that might appreciate their new customers.

Be ready to wait. A very long time. This store consistently only has a few people working and has multiple people waiting for service. Staffing may be an issue but acknowledgement of the customer when they actually enter the store would go a long way. Average customer wait at this store is over 45 minutes for service.

I went in to have my photos transferred from my old phone to my new phone. Sindo, the solutions manager, at Derby Verizon was able to help me out. He literally had to Airdrop all 500 of my pictures. Thanks for the help!

Ive been in this store several times since its my local store, and I have been dissatisfied with the service every single time. Ive worked retail and I generally have a pretty high tolerance for customer service, but somehow this store seems to anger me each time.When shopping for an upgrade, I asked an associate to tell me about some of the phones. He responded, Theyre pretty much all the same, and wasnt willing to help beyond that. After doing some of my own research (and discovering how DIFFERENT they all are) I spent several hundred dollars on a new phone at another location. The phone was defective, the company would not provide me with a replacement screen cover when I exchanged it, and they sold me the wrong type of car charger. I tried to exchange the car charger for the correct one at the location I am reviewing and despite bringing in all the receipts I was given at the time of sale, the transaction which included the charger could not be found. The associate informed me that he could not exchange the charger. Its a VERIZON BRAND charger that was in the bag with all the other accessories and phone box... where else would I have purchased this thing? Where has customer service gone? What happened to standing behind your product, service, and company?The staff is just rude, lacks knowledge about their products, and has inspired me to switch to another service provider as soon as my new contract expires. I cant wait. Save yourself the irritation and go to another store.

Went to the store and got new S7 was very excited. Did a in store pick up to my surprise when I got home and open my phone to start to get my phone started I noticed the screen was cracked. I had the phone in a bag went in to my house sat on my bed and opened the box. Thought maybe it happened during shipping went back to the store the clerk said I didnt do that. I never said he did. He assumed that I did it which their is no way in hell I did. Wont change my phone because according to him it couldnt of happened during shipping. So the policies that the customer is always right doesnt matter here. So here I am with a new s7 that has a cracked screen. I am very unsatisfied with there service and they need more training. Wont go there again.

Not always 5 star visits at Verizon & started out with a 4 minute wait nervous seeing 2 representatives with 6 of us customers waiting inline. Then reps started coming out of back and in no time we had a phone replacement set-up & were on our way. Seemed like qualified persons here at Derby location.

Wow!!! Let me start by saying I am NOT a customer I was in with my mom who was having a technical issue. Shes having issues at times receiving notifications for text messages, the first tech wanted to take off her lifeproof case which ok whatever, but was checking the settings while talking to a second guy, who was obviously just as bright! He wanted to blame the lack of notifications on the case, shes had the phone for over 6 months and gets hundreds of notifications a day Im sure she would have noticed if it was the case... Then he wanted to talk about how you can remove the mesh that protects the speaker, as soon as I bring up how it would void the warranty on the case he then back tracks and says they dont recommend removing it. Obviously they need more training, they should learn that advertising ways that will void product warranties is not good customer service. Use at your own risks!!

Had an issue with billing (their kiosk had an issue). I took in all the proof that I had paid the bill and they said they would contact customer service and take care of it for me and that it should be fixed in less than 48 hours. Three days later I went in to check and it still wasnt fixed...this time they promised to send me some kind of notification after they followed up with it. Never heard anything from them so a week later I went in again. Apparently it had gotten fixed but they couldnt print anything to prove it so I have to wait for my next bill. Worst part of it was the gal that promised to contact me didnt even look up from playing in her phone while her manager and I stood right by her. Manager said I have to take his word that it was fixed. My past experiences at this store have never been good but they are the closest dealer to me. Seriously looking at other companies.

The store has nice employees but you will not get your credits. It took 1 gesr fir me to gst my switch credit. I never got the bogo credit as verizon said a form was required that the store knows nothing about and never did. The. After 12 months my line charged went up because the fine print online says if you didnt do the form they can increase. Do yourself a favor and dont do verizon wireless. When my phone is paid off in 5 months i will be going back to Sprint ir maybe ATT.

I went in to purchased a phone and was told to get the phone at a bundled price I had to get a screen protector, case, and car charger! After I got home and started to look over the receipt I noticed that the sales person who sold me the phone blatantly lied to me and charged me full price on everything, wait because thats just the beginning. I went back into the store and spoke to the manager his nonchalant adittude toward what had happened lead me to believe this was normal business practice for this location. He told me to wait just a second and I will have someone with you so I waited. While I was waiting I heard the same sales associate telling customers the same blatant lie. After waiting about fifth-teen minutes to return a case and a charger, I walked up to the same manger who was doing nothing but standing and asked him how long it would be. He looked at his iPad and told me it would be about one hour and forty-five minutes! I told him that he obviously did not understand customer service and walked out! Horrible management and in my experience out right crooks!

I have no idea why this store is even open. They NEVER seem to be able to solve a problem of mine.When you go there to buy a device its always way more expensive than online.When my phone broke, I borrowed a friends phone and I tried to call to see if they had the phone I wanted, but the phone system wouldnt even let me ring the store without a pin number being sent to my (broken) phone. Why cant I just dial the number given and have it ring in the store?When you go in you have to be checked in and wait to talk to someone, so for 35 minutes I patiently waited my turn, all the while I saw employees chatting, Cleaning windows, tidying up, while customers just sat waiting for help. The staff didnt seem to care at all about moving people in and out.Ill deal with Verizon online from here on out.
