If your ever in Denver and want an after dinner treat, check this place out! I had half cherry and half lemon ice freeze. You can have it scooped out for you at the counter or buy it already packaged by the pint as well as ice cream ($5 to $6) And they have pre made ice cream sandwiches( have a knife ready) and 2 pop tarts with ice cream nestled in the middle!(Giant) Love the pictures on the wall of celebrities eating ice cream. It was 2 very generous scoops for around $5.50 not bad. They had a smaller and larger sizes. This fat girl was not disappointed!! It was front door street parking. But we went at 9:30 pm

This well-decorated, small local joint is a great, casual ice-cream creator! Pleasantly surprised with the flavors, they have a wide range of ice-cream-related treats that are very impressive I.e. ice cream sandwiches, pints to go, cannoli, etc. I had the dark cookies n cream which I highly, highly recommend! My second flavor was also good, just not as stand-out in my opinion. No tastings during the pandemic, which is fine as the employees give very helpful explanations to each flavor. Overall, great joint, would return.

I will always stop by here when I am in the area. One of the best little ice cream shops around. Love the culture vibe, and there sandwiches are super unique to any flavor and taste pallet, a must stop to try shop.

I live in the neighborhood and have seen prices for this place go through the roof. While I love picking up a cone on my way home it’s just a bit too much to pay $7 for a single scoop cone. Not sure what’s going on with the pricing model as places that make their ice cream from scratch are charging far less, but I will think twice before dropping in.

Whatever is going on with the owner of this shop, I hope he gets the help he needs, because he’s not okay. After asking about potential risk of nuts in the product with a friend with a food allergy, a younger person working here was helpful and responsive, but the owner was dismissive, rude, and disrespectful when asked for additional information. He asked my friend why she couldn’t just choose something from the freezer rather than taking the younger worker up on her offer to clean an ice cream scoop and make her something fresh. He continued with aggressive sighing, eye rolling, and ultimately snatching the ice cream scoop from the younger worker and taking over, slamming the ice cream down on the counter at us without making eye contact or saying anything. The ice cream itself is subpar, but would’ve tasted sweeter with just a little bit of compassion and grace for someone just trying to have an ice cream and not die.

The ice cream was “ok” but nothing special. I wouldn’t waste my time driving there and trying to find a place to park. The man working there whether he was an employee or the owner needs to take a class in customer service. He made us feel like we were a total imposition........

Lots of amazing flavors. The cinnamon was sweet but not a cinnamon sugar sweet but focusing on the cinnamon flavor. The oatmeal cream pie tasted just like the little Debbie oatmeal cream pie. The Nutella was like taking a spoonful of Nutella with a glass of milk. The dirty cookies and cream was oreo overloaded (if you like Oreos then this is definitely not a bad thing).

They freeze their ice cream the correct way, so if you get it delivered it will still be frozen.Personally, I think the cereal ice cream has an odd texture and I dont fux with it at all. Some friends love it though. I like their ice cream sandwiches :) delicious stuff!

Not sure how this place has good reviews. I’ve been twice. The owner was an actual nightmare both times. I’ve watched and seen bad reviews removed repeatedly- guessing they’re paying Google to do so.The first time I went, the owner was so rude to my friend and I, rolling his eyes when we ordered. The ice cream flavor selection is weird (most of it is cereal flavors) but it tastes good and you can sample a variety first. I really liked the maple flavor he had when I was there. The place really seems to stand for what it believes in and I appreciate that. Also enjoyed the music selection while I was eating. The guy behind the counter (the owner, I think) was very direct and to-the-point, so if youre like me and you talk too much, you might annoy him, but it didnt seem to affect his professionalism. There are ice cream sandwiches made with pop tarts? I didnt try one but I found the idea kind of fascinating.

Myself and some friends came here to get some icecream after pride and we were rudely asked to leave because we werent buying anything when multiple people apart of our group did. Not only that, we were misgendered on purpose, so was another group of patrons who were coming in before us. When we stood up for ourselves, we were screamed at and called names. I will never go to this establishment again and I will be reporting this disgusting behavior, so will some of the other patrons who witnessed this. So shameful on pride.

Im giving this 2 stars because we showed up at 2pm and the doors were locked. I checked, double checked, and triple checked the day and hours of operation. I looked on the website, and Google. Had to park 3 blocks away and walk to the store only to find it closed. No sign, no explanation, no posts on social media.

Disgusting. A huge block of ice cream in between two pop tarts. Portion size is completely messed up here. what a waste. Can’t even eat this without having chestpains. If you want to get high cholesterol, by all means order from here.

Best milkshake ever according to my husband. I had ice cream with an oatmeal cream pie mixed in. I do not like ice cream very much, but this was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life.

The man behind the counter was incredibly rude to a Door Dash person, berating him and refusing to help him in front of the entire shop. This was my first experience here and it will certainly be my last.

The owner, Jim, is a totally down to earth guy who has a love for sharing delicious cool treats with people of all ages, all types. He actually makes his creations in the back visible to guests, making crazy good flavors like Crunch Berries, Cheddar goldfish (surprisingly Bomb), and Dirty Cookies and cream. For you adults who love scoops, he even made a White Russian ice cream that would be Lebowski approved! My personal favorite is the Andes mint and Nutella in a Pretzel cone (cone is crunchy with sea salt rim!). I am becoming a steadfast regular myself, going now at least once every other week and enjoy conversing with Jim every time. Thank you for killer ice cream!!!

One of my favorite ice cream shops in Denver. They have some zaney flavors, as well as Philly water ice! Kinda like sorbet almost, so good!! You can get custom ice cream sandwiches made from.. POPTARTS!!! 🤯 yesterday I got a cookies and cream pop tart with Reeses Puffs ice cream inside... It was truly amazing. 10/10 I completely recommend. GO!!!

Worst ice cream experience ever. We are from out of town and saw the great reviews so we decided to try it. The woman working was so sweet and helpful and we had a lot of questions about the ice cream. One of my family members asked for a cone because it was on the menu. The girl let us know that they were not doing ice cream cones because of COVID, which we completely understand. But she did offer the ice cream cannoli and that’s what we ended up getting. Another one of my family members just asked what the difference was between the cones and the cannoli and the owner came out of no where and started yelling at him. We had ABSOLUTELY no problem with not being able to get the cones and tried to explain that. But the owner freaked out. He was yelling and not listening to us say we understand. At one point he yelled “I don’t even care if we lose your business” (keep in mind we don’t even live here so lol). He said it was his own policy and that it was to protect his employees. The sweet woman working seemed so embarrassed and tried to tell the owner it wasn’t a problem. The owner left, came back and had a complete come apart AGAIN. We were utterly shocked. We were even agreeing with his decision and he was still angry. We sucked it up, bought the ice cream and left. The ice cream had the potential to be good, but the owner ruined the whole thing. The ice cream is not worth dealing with the outrageous owner.After looking at the other reviews, it looks like owner is always upset and angry with customers. Surprises me that they are still in business. Also kinda worried about the poor girl working, hope she’s okay.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would! The guy tonight working (04/25/2020) @ 9:30pm was the rudest person I have ever met! Right away when I walked in I was scolded to stand by the door, but as the next 2 people came in they were able to walk up to the counter, then I was questioned about the order I was supposed to pick up and when I didn’t understand the question I was yelled at once again. The other customers looked at me and all I replied back with was “gees” and the guy called me out of my name and disrespected me and kicked me out of the store. The worst experience! Not to mention when I left crying I called to ask for managers name and I was told “and what might you need that for” and when I replied I want to speak with a manager I was rudely hung up on! Hopefully the manager is there tomorrow so I can discuss this with them! Whoever he was tonight has no right working with people if that is how he is going to treat them!

The ice cream and waffle cone were great! I had a double scoop with coffee and peanut butter puffs. The flavors were both very flavorful and authentic - they didnt taste processed. The ice cream didnt melt as I walked around in 80 degree weather, or maybe it was just so good I ate it quickly. The case was full of really interesting and fun flavors, I had a hard time deciding.I tried the Philly water ice and will come back on a hot day for a cup. The water ice was very flavorful and refreshing but wasnt too sweet.Ill definitely be back!

Every flavor Ive tried from the dirty cookies and cream, to the cinnamon pop tart, or butterscotch is just so rich and flavorful. Their flavors are spot on, if you did a blind taste test you wound know right away which each flavor was.

Very unique and good flavors of icecream. However, the owner is extremely rude! I came in last night, wearing my mask, and waited 10 minutes in line to get icecream. When it was my turn, I politely asked for two scoops on an icecream cone, and they arent serving cones to keep workers safe. I politely tried to explain to him that theres no difference in handing me icecream in a cup that him & the workers touched in comparison to handing me a cone, and he created a whole scene yelling trying to explain his ridiculous policy. I decided to let it go, and still get my icecream, and they gave me the wrong flavors! Wont ever get my business again!

Ice Cream Riot - Ballpark locationUse to be our favorite place to go, but 3 out of 6 times weve been there the place has been closed. Posted business hours do not reflect actual hours. Owner lives upstairs above the location and seems to open up whenever he/she feels like it. I am not bitter, its just kind of disappointing to spend the time to go there and its a 50/50 shot they are open. I strongly recommend going to 5280 Ice Cream instead, they have a really good selection and are open when they say they are.

The ice cream was really good. So was the service. Theyve got some unique flavors and Pop tart Ice cream sandwiches are ready to go. Only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because the general atmosphere of the place was kind of run down.

Came here on my recent trip to Denver. Cool little shop. About a dozen flavors. I got a double, one of honey grahams and another of all berries. The all berries was delicious along with the honey grahams, however the honey grahams seemed to be a bit frost bitten (could feel crystals while enjoying). Overall a great ice cream spot!

Love the taste and a lot of variety of flavors. What i love most are the topping that you could actually select from and you could make a mixture of your own very original and very satisfying.

Simply amazing. You have to try the dirty cookies and cream and then every other flavor. You wont be disappointed. Any 1 star reviews must be from lactose intolerant people but even then they have Philly water ice which is delicious. Stop reading reviews and go find out for yourself, youll be happy you did.
