We ended up with a first month of production fireplace that had some issues. While the Heat n Glo product had its issues, Rio Grande has been great about service and I especially want to recognize Susan. Upon getting a hold of her, she made certain that things were dealt with and fixed and followed up with me throughout the process.

We had Rio Grandes Tim come out to check our fireplace, as it was installed by our home builder and despite their check (during warranty) we were still having issues with the occasional gas smell. In 30 minutes, Tim quickly found a loose screw that was enough to create a small gas bubble - and sure enough, was the source of our occasional, slight gas smell. Tim was a professional - arriving on time, using shoe covers, and walking me thru his work. I recommend Rio Grandes servicing to anyone with a Heat n Glo fireplace - especially those where the builder installed it (!).
Attempt to pick up an order that my client paid for took over an hour as no one could locate the product and then once they could, they couldnt figure out what color was ordered (due to their computer system missing that field)...wasted over an hour of my day standing around waiting
