BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR EXPENSIVE BOOTS HERE HEED THIS WARNING!If you have an expectation of pride in work and ethical customer treatment steer clear from this cobbler. I took my $300+ Frye boots here for a simple heel replacement. One would think a heel replacement is an easy and harmless task. I have some distressed boots and should have asked that the side of the soles were not to be reconditioned. I could get over that but the bigger issue came when there was a black mark on the boot the same color as the ink or whatever they use to mark the edge of the sole. Brian proceeds to tell me that it was like that when it came in and denies any wrong doing. I wear these shoes every day and would have noticed a giant black mark on the side of the boot. He proceeds to go in the back and rub on the mark with some sort of cleaner. Gives it back to me and said, its just polish it will be fine when it dries. I head outside and can see that not only is the black mark there but he has now ruined the finish on the leather also. I proceed to go in and he says what do you want me to do about it. No offer for a discount, no offer for a refund. I was simply offered an offensive claim that he did not do it and that he was going to do nothing about it. I even had to hold his hand and ask him for an apology... and they are free! Clearly there is no concern about satisfying your customers or pride in your work our you would have admitted to your mistake. I would not trust this guy with my worst pair of shoes to do the right thing in the event that something goes wrong. If you are fine with them damaging your shoes then take the risk. I will definitely tell others to steer clear from here.PROTECT YOURSELF TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR SHOES IN THE STORE BEFORE! You cannot trust this store.

I took an old pair of boots in to Brian to see if they could be refurbished, but theyd been redone one too many times. As I wear size 9AA, finding cowboy boots that fit appropriately has been nearly impossible. I wound up ordering a completely custom pair of boots that I am EXTREMELY pleased with. They fit as perfectly as could be expected, and I look forward to when theyre completely broken in. I expect theyll last at least the next few decades. Brian really seems to know his stuff, and has been a pleasure to work with. Ill be saving up for my next pair!

Brian did an amazing job on my boots. My boots are 15 years old and they look brand new. The repair was reasonably priced and done quickly. And Brian is a great guy!

I took a pair of boots to Brian to stretch. I owned these boots for several years and had not been able to wear since I bought them. He worked very carefully with them and literally worked magic. I am so happy I will finally get to enjoy these boots this winter!!! I’m bringing him a second pair to stretch. He is a master craftsman with leather. I HIGHLY recommend Brian at LB Shoe Repair.

They were able to secure the handles on my briefcase, which is all I asked for. However, they didnt even care to slip the one strap back in its tuck spot, before permanently riveting it in place. Charged $5 per rivet. He never claimed to be a cobbler, sure charged way more than any cobbler I have run into and took 1/10 the pride in the finished product. Bummed about spending 20 bucks, the handles dont even match in height.

While looking for a customer of mine, I came across L.B. Shoe Repair on S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood. Brian, the owner, seemed personable enough, and inasmuch I needed repair work on several pairs of shoes and a couple pairs of boots. The repair work ranged from needing soles and/or heels to simply stretching and polishing. He gave me what I felt was a fair price and a time the following week when they would be done. Actually, he was done a day earlier; nevertheless, I was very pleased with his work as well as his timeliness. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone that would be in need of shoe and/or boot repair. You wont be disappointed.Id also like to add that he has a friendly and very well behaved dog, I believe a German Shepherd mix named Derby, who I think has adopted me! It seems like whenever I show up, Derby is there smiling and a tail-a-wagging to greet me!

L.b. shoe repair is trustworthy, and takes pride in the work done. I had this shop do some work on the last boots my dad gave to me, before his passing. The artist went above and beyond with his god given talents. I highly recommend this shop, especially if your attatched to your boots.

This shop is a gem and so is the owner. I wouldnt think of taking my shoes or boots anywhere else. He is very honest and straightforward about the health of your shoe and how to get them back in shape. I think shoe repair is a lost art and I was craving a place like this.

Love this shop and Brian is quite skilled at his craft. Bought a pair of custom boots from this shop and marvel at the fit. He also reconditioned some of my favorite beat up leather hiking boots, had me back on the trail in no time.

Brought two pairs of well used items in and he was able to extend their life a bit further for a reasonable rate. One fix was experimental and has not quite worked out, but the other is holding up well. Asks for a deposit of half the expected charge, FYI. Nice shop, weird location.

Came here looking for boot repair and the guy that runs this place tried telling me my $500 Ariat boots were cheaply made without real leather, and told me my boots were too far gone to be repaired. After that, he offered to sell me a $1,600 custom boot because mine were crappy. Thanks for undermining me and making me feel dirt right before trying to rob me of almost $1,600 for a new pair of boots. DO NOT GO HERE. He will try to hard sell and pressure you into buying his boots after insulting you. The guy that runs this place is only after your dollar and will try to sucker you in like a fool
