I had a great experience visiting this bike shop. Doug and Steve were personable and very helpful and my bike was fixed fast. They told me the bike I found in the dumpster was actually worth a lot of money It just needed a new seat and some air in the tires. I was thrilled since I had to leave my old bike in France and haven’t had a bike in two years! I was worried about getting my bike out of my car and back in but they helped me with both without any hesitation and they told dad jokes and bike jokes which lifted my spirits in a fun way. Steve also showed me how to remove the basket, I thought it was stuck on the bike. A removable basket is awesome especially since Target is no longer giving out free plastic bags! So helpful. I like that this bike shop is open until 7pm. I do recommend this bike shop for all your bike needs! Now The only thing left to do is name my bike and and enjoy the ride!
Great local shop for bikes and bike needs. Doug and Sarah were huge helps and extremely friendly. Helped us pick out the perfect bike.
Brought my Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 in for a software update. The update was completed in a very timely manner and was notified the next day. Staff was helpful in explaining the update. Great place to purchase and service your bike, no matter what you ride. Nice selection of accessories.
Took my Specialized Stumpjumper to Adam in service and the whole experience was awesome!!He went above and beyond to help me with my new brakes and new suspension setup and also gave suggestions. Would highly recommend taking your bike to get serviced there and if you get Adam, to work on your bike, you’re in very good hands! ~James
Came to look for a bike basket and a kick stand. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Jenn helped find what we were looking for, when she didnt have the answer, tried to find the answers for us. First time in this place to add a kickstand, store wasnt too awfully busy, but the service area was pretty busy for 11am. I dont know what the protocol of this place is but Scot not only added my kickstand but readjusted my rear lights, thats above and beyond!
Chris at BikeSource is a true ROCKSTAR!!! He went above and beyond to help me find, purchase and deliver two e-bikes for my boss. He was communicative, friendly and reliable. HIGHLY recommend BikeSource and if you can, work with Chris!!
Very helpful staff, good selection. Prices are a bit premium like most bike shops. I was looking for a tire with a particular tread in a less common size, but they have almost anything almost any cyclist would need.
Good selection and very nice staff. They are honest about what you need. Ask for Doug
Good customer service and a large selection of bikes. Fair pricing and friendly staff. I had one of my bikes serviced there once, it was a bit more expensive than I expected; but they did a great job so no big deal.I give this shop 5 bags of popcorn and 3 sodas.
I had high hopes for this place. They could actually get in the bike I wanted (Rockhopper)...then, on my second short ride (not even offroad)...it blew both tires (expected--Colorado has Canada thistle! I knew I shoulda got thornproofs, first)....but it also blew a shock. Ive been riding for a long time. 3 Specialized and a Gary Fischer over about 40 years...Three of these bikes with shocks....NEVER had to deal with this. But hey, stuff happens. Took it back to Bike Source about 20 days out of the 30 day return window (I was in the arctic), manager of the store just stared at me and said that...then said, if I dont like it, you can sue us. WOW....40 years of riding as an adult....NEVER have I been treated like this! Rest assured, if my CC cant get me all of my money back (E.g.: If Bike Source fights it)....I WILL be taking them, and Specialized to court. Hey...its sort of what I do! Anyway...not sure what the problem is, but STAY AWAY from these places.
Chris and staff are awesome. Thanks for the tips on how to not get flats from those goathead thorns. Bike on!
Large variety of merchandise, super friendly and very helpful. Excellent service department 👍
Great service! Bought my bikes out of state and when I got there, our two specialized bikes were tuned up and ready to go!They also provide free tune-ups so I’m planning to taking the bikes in this month to get checked out. Nothing but good things to say about these guys. They even gave me a lot of free advice about what I would need to repair a bike myself if I got a flat in the field. And it came in very handy when I had a flat in Moab!! Thanks, BikeSource!
Not a good experience. I bought my bike a few weeks ago over the phone, they told me it would be ready to pick up by a certain date, it wasn’t. No big deal, but I had to call and ask multiple times if it was ready for pickup; everyone I encountered on the phone was very short and dismissive (yeah hold on let me transfer you to sales, let me transfer you back to service) As a customer, that shows that my call isn’t important. In the store, it wasn’t a friendly experience either. Very short as well, no explanation of the bike, no “have a nice day” or anything along the lines of a normal customer service interaction. And multiple employees stood around while I watched multiple people (and myself) bring bikes out the door. Common courtesy as an employee (standing around) would be to open the door for someone who just bought a bike and a simple “have a good day”Ive been to lots of bike shops in the springs and Pueblo and ALWAYS felt good about it and had a great experience, kindness and helpfulness is expected at a bike shop. Please support local friendly bike shops!
Best experience ever. They really did. Help an care. An that really help my axcieitly.. appreciate. It .(.)(.)
Called 4 bike stores to get my bike serviced and all of them said they are booked 2 to 4 weeks out. 2 of them went to voicemail and would not take new customers. I needed a simple adjustment it only took the bike source 5 minutes. After the quick service on my bike, I bought my son a bike at the bike source store. Great customer service and great prices. My son loves his new specialized bike!!
Had a great experience with the service team at BikeSource. They notified me of a major issue with my fork, and after speaking with the shop manager Jeremiah, we were able to work things out to get me back on the trail. This has been, and always will be my go-to place for bike service.
Great customer service. Adam was great to deal with. Took care of an issue on the bike no questions asked.
Friendly, helpful staff. I have bought a lot of parts from here and they’re always helpful.
I had a great experience both buying a bike and having repairs done. Big store, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and competitive pricing. I recommend.
Great inventory and customer service. Prices reasonable and expected
Been here 4-5 times for service to my bike and they always do a good job and in a good amount of time. I now live 20 minutes away and closer to many other bike shops and will still take my bike here. Thanks
Had the bike ready, and helped load it into truck. Very friendly!
Great placeAndrew was very helpful!
Welcoming, competent, staff. Huge selection, best Specialized dealer in town.
I’ve taken my bike in for service a few times. It was fast and the communication is great.
It is really refreshing to have a retail consumer experience that exceeds your expectations, especially during these challenging times! Thank you Chris Fyke (Manager), Abby, Griffin, Margaret and the service team!!Recently our bikes were stolen and I emailed Chris with what I was looking for and asked if he had time, would call me. He called me!We talked about what I wanted and what he had on hand. Lucky for us, he had exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, Chris can do attitude helped us get both of our bikes today!!What made us consider reaching out to BikeSource this time for our bikes, leads back to a service experience I had with my daughters bike a few months back. We bought her a bike at BikeSource, and several months later, it needed a follow up adjustment. I brought in our bike for a quick adjustment and replacement pedal. The service tech, brought the bike back out to me in just a few minutes after adjusting with a brand new pedal and said you are all set, no charge! My guess is that this service experience and todays experience are not a coincidence. Thanks all for being there for us back then and today!Chris
Benton is the best! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient while helping me select a new bike (and while my boyfriend drilled him with questions). We were both blown away by his service and will definitely come back to BikeSource for purchases/maintenance in the future.
My experience here was superb. These guys are knowledgeable and helpful. Scott and Paul took care of my fat bike.
Went in to learn about e bikes. Scott was amazing and knowledgeable. He walked me through the technology of the bikes and was only concerned with me being happy with my bike choice. Prices were very competitive. I am very satisfied the experience and would reccomend Bike Source to any one that asks.
This is my second time visiting this bike shop and the service has been fantastic both times. They get quite a bit of foot traffic and everything is really well organized as far as COVID is concerned.
I was pleasantly surprised after reading a few bad reviews I almost went to another shop but out of convenience stopped here to check it out myself. I am so happy to see a company implement the necessary procedures to protect everyone from this virus! Thank you we all need to try to be as careful as possible. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable I appreciate you all! Thank you!
Very full service shop. Massive variety of products. A selection of e bikes.
I have been here a number of times and plan not to come back. The bike techs have an attitude and make you feel like an inconvenience. Plenty of other Bike shops around without the attitude. I found a great place off Colfax. Much better.
Took great care of my sis and her new bike!
Great store. Ive bought a lot of stuff there including 4 bikes. Scott Fyffe is the best mechanic on the planet.
Friendly and helpful staff. Quality bikes.
Never again. The website says “A personal shopper is only a text or email away”. I sent a text message to the number provided for the Denver location asking if they could assist me with a bicycle purchase. After four hours I had not received a response, so I drove to the storefront. There was one person in line when I arrived. I spoke with an associate fairly quickly. I explained that I wanted to purchase a Rockhopper, Pitch, or similar entry-level mountain bike. The employee asked me to wait a few minutes while he finds a good option. He promptly returned and said, “We don’t have anything for you. Check back again.” then walked off. No explanation of other options or an offer to place an order.I will suture my thighs together and jog to Boulder before I return to BikeSource.
I found this place today on my bike ride. Went in and was greeted by a guy in a man bun. I told him I needed lights, SPD cleats and a helmet. He walked me to the cleats and showed me some options; I selected a pair and asked if he could hold them for me as I didnt have my wallet with me. After I shared this information, he said dont worry theres plenty, and over there are the helmets pointing with his finger. And just like that disappeared. Didnt show me any helmets nor any lights. I was gonna come later and do business here, but now Ill just go somewhere else. Dont recommend if you want some help or assistance.
Purchased an e bike here from Chris and I wanted to reach out to rave about how accommodating and great he was as he didn’t have the bike we wanted, but it still worked out fantastic!!! I’d highly recommend this shop!
Drove all the way from Louisville Colorado in traffic because they were the only knew with the specific bike I wanted.Walked in and there were 3 people behind the counter. I asked where the bike I wanted was. He pointed in a direction and said over there. I thought hed come over and try to help me and after 10 min I decided to start writing this review.Ive spent thousands of dollars in this store when we bought bikes a few years ago and a trailer. It was a much different experience.I will never return to this store. Maybe its just me but I shouldnt have to figure this out on my own with a business Im going to spend another couple grand.
The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. They took the time to make sure that we had the information we needed and actually talked me out of spending money on a new derailleur with some suggestions on adjustments that may need to be made.
The manager, Chris, made it easy to pick up and fit our bikes in the middle of the pandemic - theyre very helpful and offer great free follow-up bike service as well. Our bikes are even better than we expected!
I know bike shops are busy these days, but I’ve literally been calling this place for four business days and they don’t answer the phone. It either rings until it cuts off or straight doesn’t connect, yet as soon as it is 6:00pm and they’re closed it has an after hours message. What happened to customer service for people who have spent money with you guys? Do not shop here if you want customer service.
Not a fan of places that care about quantity instead of quality, it needs to stop. Not the best customer service, have been in smaller stores with way better customer service. I will suggest to stay away from this company unless you like wasting time. First purchase of two bikes and they werent set up right, since Im easy I just did it myself. Next bought some accessories, went to look for them and found out that they mixed an extra item, told the sales associate and he kind of gave me a weird look so I had to ask him twice to double check everything and seemed that he didnt like it so, he kind of looked the receipt and told me that everything was in there, it seemed he wanted to just dispatch me as fast as he could so, I took the extra item out and showed him that it wasnt on my ticket, then he realized about that and acted like if didnt matter, ok, strike two. Ordered something from this store on 5/6/20 that I needed next day, on 5/7/20 they sent me an email that it was ready for pickup, got to the store at 5:40pm and it was closed and, strike three.
I just walked out of this place. Maybe they don’t like gay people? Maybe the bike I wanted wasn’t expensive enough to warrant customer service. But either way, I came for a bike that was on the website and of course it wasn’t in stock. So I asked for similar and was told to go through a labyrinth of stairs and they’re “on the left side.”When I got to the bottom of the stairs and was looking for another flight to go down to find the bikes in my price range I told the gentlemen down there that I needed to find the other flight. He just repeatedly asked me what I am looking for which is somewhat transparent as all they sell are bikes. After feeling like I wasn’t getting service, I was made to feel unwelcome to even walk around the store to find a bike.A word of advice - you sell bikes. That’s what we’re looking for when we shop here. If you interrupt people when they are talking it’s rude. Just show them the bikes or the stairs they are asking for.Apparently don’t come here unless you want to find the bike on your own and you know exactly what size and model and it’s hopefully $2k or more so they will want to help.
Great place to buy a bike. Knowledgeable staff that really wants to make sure you find the right fit for your riding style and preference. Especially enjoyed working with Marco on Sunday. Helped me find the perfect bike for me! Can’t wait to get out and ride it
Chris(mgr) very knowledgeable and respectful. Being new to the biking scene, he was awesome with answering my questions. Staff very helpful and will to help. Chris thanks for the decal.
This is the worst kind of bike store. The Chick-fil-A across the street has more parking for bikes
Thank you so much for being so accommodating, professional and nice (when I walked in 15 minutes before closing time😲). Jordan was amazingly helpful and accommodating as I was needing my tire and cycling shoe fixed before my bike ride tomorrow! ⏱Everyone stayed late without making me feel like a nuisance! I will definitely be back!
Been a customer here ever since I started riding. Service, sales and shipping departments are amazing to work with. Chris and Scott in service were very professional with my beloved bikes, providing top notch customer service. On top, this location offers a great selection of bikes. I will definitely be recommending this BikeSource to my family and friends!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Very good service and nice store. Did not like to be told to wait outside and to be followed around the the store due to Covid I will not come back.
All the guys here are friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for. The mechanics even don’t mind when you drop in on them and ask a few questions.
First, I apologize for the detailed review which is funny because I never leave reviews. Over the years I’ve purchased three bikes for my kids from BikeSource on Colorado Blvd because after doing much research they were the best ratio of bike/price. But, a few months ago I became fascinated with the possibility of an E bike for my commute to work. I test rode half a dozen bikes from dealers allover town but decided on the specialized Vado 4.0.
Thanks Griffin, for your professionalism and assistance. I greatly appreciate your service.
I needed a bike fit and Andrew Slater was recommended by Dan from the Southwest store. I completely trust Dans advice and Andrew proved to be the clear choice. Andrew absolutely nailed the bike fit! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about every detail of a bike fit and was meticulous with every measurement. That is paramount and Andrew did a fantastic job. A huge thanks to Andrew for a superior bike fit.
Great service and friendly people!!! No pushy sales, just help and insight. Thats my kind of customer service! Thank you!
These guys should break the norm and open early on Sundays. It’s a huge ride day and there were probably 10 people waiting for them to open. Either way, great shop, knowledgeable employees. Jack is a real go getter.
Had an amazing experience with Marco who helped me out with my first road bike for serious riding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the bike and answered any questions that I had (and I got very particular with my questions, from care of the bike to the best places to ride in Colorado). He not only sold me a high quality bike but set me up with all of the items that I needed to become a successful cyclist and have fun while doing it. From bottle cages, saddle bag, spare tire, spare tire gauge, bib, shoes, you name it and he made sure that I did not leave BikeSource without all of the necessary items to have the best ride possible. I was definitely only recommended the highest quality equipment there is!Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience at this shop and with Marcos assistance. This is the place to go whether you are a beginner looking to get your first serious ride or an expert looking for the next level. 5 stars for BikeSource across the board!
First Id like to state I normally dont write bad reviews. If Ive received poor service or product, I just dont go back, for all time. Bike Source has a nice selection of bikes/gear and knowledgeable and helpful Sales staff which is why you get the 2 Stars.Where they fall short on is Customer Service based on my recent experience which is the following. In early February, I purchased a new Specialized Sirrus bicycle, didnt ride it too much until May and started experiencing issues with the bolt coming loose on the crank shaft. Bike Sources website states to not call, which is true, they will not answer it and there is no automated IVR to provide any information, it will just ringi and ring endlessly. Thats fine because that is their choice. It does state to either email or text, so I emailed on June 8, 2020, briefly describing my issue and asking for a time I could bring it in for fixing. I have yet to receive a response to that email. Time passed and on Jun 27 I receive a call from Bike Source, them informing me that Specialized has a recall on the issue I described. I dont know if this was in response to my email but either way, waiting 19 days for response is poor customer service. The call consisted of them telling me about the recall, dont ride my bike, they are waiting on parts, and they would call me back when ready to schedule a repair. I was fine with that. A month later and no phone call, no email, so I again tried to call, same experience, no answer, emailed, no response.I started to investigate the recall on Specializeds website and low and behold it literally states In most cases, no additional parts are required, and it is a quick and simple fix. Questions: Why did Bike Source specifically state they were waiting on parts for this issue? How does Bike Source know if my bike needed parts without seeing it first? Why didnt they schedule a time for me to bring my bike into the shop to take a look at it?So Speciallizeds website also suggests other locations that are Specialized retailers that can resolve this issue. I call one of them, they answer the phone (can you believe it) and explain that they cant schedule service appointments over the phone, but to bring it in for a review, so I do, same day, very covid conscious, have to wait in line, only a few people allowed in at a time. Im good with that. Once in, explain the issue, and they fix it on the spot, takes 30 minutes. Seriously Bike Source, you need to work on your Customer Service, it is lacking on multiple levels. The response I did receive over the phone was contradictory to the information on the Specialized website. At the time it seemed like an OK answer, now it just feels like you didnt have time to complete any work, so an excuse was made.Answer the phone and/or respond via the communications methods you deem appropriate, to your loyal customers and have spent dollars many times at your store.Youve lost this one for all time.
Great service work on my Rockhopper. Done on time with no surprises.
Adam does an excellent job with fittings. He is very thorough and has great attention to detail. I highly recommend getting a fitting done with him. I dont have any experience with the service department yet. The store has a ton of inventory and the people working there have always been friendly. I plan to keep coming here.
Jesse was literally my hero....From the moment I pushed in my bike, he instantly started to take care of me by looking it over and fixing little things needed right away. Not only did he take care of my bike top to bottom, but was friendly, sincere, and all around great to chat with.I could not be happier with the service here and would HIGHLY recommend this place, specifically because of the great customer service I received from Jesse..couldnt be happier!
I will not be going anywhere else in Denver for my biking needs! Andrew, was MORE than helpful. He was also patient enough for me to get all new gear, bike tune, and then some!
I had a simple flat the day before. I am a student constantly trying to survive on a budget. The thought of spending something one does not yet possess can be emotionally taxing, especially after recently spending money on the similar something.I went into BikeSource because it was the closet shop to my place. I dreaded the trip because I had recently fixed a similar issue a couple of weeks ago outside of Denver.BikeSource simply exceeded my expectations. The truth is the other two bike shops I have been to are also great. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Definitely not knocking other shops. For me, BikeSource took quality service to the next level.I made myself vulnerable to Timmy. I obviously was, I couldn’t even install a simple tube. I told Timmy I knew nothing about bikes. He told me he was willing to tech me. Timmy not only showed me the change process for the tube, he went out of his way to make sure everything was properly adjusted while schooling me on each detail and his reasons for checking the various parts. At this point, the draining thought of spending had cleared my mind. Every cent was earned through the service I received. Timmy provided quality service but only charged me for the replacement tube. His reason being that he wanted teach me.I plan on returning.Thank you.
The people who work here are always nice and friendly, and theyll do tune-ups with no fuss. If you ask questions, theyre also happy to explain how your equipment works and how to keep it in tip-top shape!
Max is THE man! Came in for a quick buy on my way out of Denver (flying the next day). Max had an Epic which I liked but were not my size. Even though I was close to spending a lot on too small bike he insisted I should buy only what’s right for me.Having no bikes ready in all Bike Source locations the man literally called his competitors (4 shops!!) till he found what I needed and sent me there. What a man, what a dignity. All the best to you.So, please head there to balance the good Karma;)Greatly appreciated! Thx man
The sales staff at this shop are super helpful. All of the people that I worked with--Chris, Griffen, Christo, Sam--were friendly and very helpful, especially in tracking down specific features and functions. There was never any feeling of high-pressure sales or commission competition.
I went into Bike Source to pick up tires for my fiancé. I didn’t really know much about what I needed beyond the name of the tire, but they were non-judgmental and happy to help! Chris Fyke, whom I believe to be the manager, was kind, happy to be at work, and guided me to precisely what I needed! These guys are amazing and I highly recommend!!!! Thank you!!!
Came in to get a tune up. Scott was great with helping me get what I needed to get going again. While I was waiting, I spoke with Ryan who was very helpful and knowledgeable about ebikes and other bikes at the store. Great experience overall.
Whats not to love about this shop? Service team goes above and beyond the call of duty every time I bring my bike in. Always a quick turnaround and job well done. Thanks guys!
Not friendly or helpful, they make you feel like buying a $6k bike is an inconvenience to them.
This review is for the University Hills Bike Source location. I stopped in yesterday for the first time looking for a few items. My team is sponsored by this shop but I intentionally made no mention of that until I was done shopping. I was greeted by Maddy while looking for water bottle cages. Maddy was able to answer all my questions and direct me to the products I needed and provided superb insights into them. When she didnt know the answer she immediately went and found someone who did and quickly returned to me. Overall, she was polite, knowledgeable, and attentive! All the qualities I often see lacking in bike shop employees. The manager Todd also did a fabulous job helping me out with a wheel build project. Keep up the great work guys :)
Im new to mountain biking and wanted to go in to check things out and learn about my options before deciding on a new bike. Hannah was so great with answering all of my questions, helping me figure out what kind of bike would be best while explaining everything I should take into consideration when buying a bike. She helped me test out a bike, and did not hesitate to answer any questions I had regarding the bike, financing options, and bike racks. Definitely will go back here when I decide to buy for sure. Thanks Hannah!
My ebike lost power and I could not ride first week of spring and nice weather what’s a person to do ? Because of conavirus virus most bike shops were closed I went on line and saw that Bikesource was open for repairs so I took my bike to the Colorado ave store to see if they could help me. I talked to Jeramia Johnson about what was going on and he said that they were busy but he would look at it as soon as he could. Two days later I get text my bike is ready, I am so happy! Next week the weather is going to be in the 70’s and I am ready to ride thanks to Bikesource! Give them a try they will go out of their way to get you riding again!
These guys really helped me out and I couldn’t be more thankful. I was riding my bike home when I got a flat tire. I walked my bike to their shop only to find they were closed for their annual inventory restock. However, a gentleman around the corner offered to fix my flat when walking out the back exit. They fixed it even though their shop was closed and saved me a 2.3 mile walk home! Thank you.
Everyone at Bike Source was extremely helpful. Evan who helped us buy our new bikes and all the accessories was AWESOME! He made sure we stayed within our budget but got the best bang for our buck for what we wanted our bikes for. We would go back here and recommend them in a heartbeat.
I was looking for a new road bike and visited several shops around the Metro area: big retailers; local spots; and some regional set-ups. I searched Craigslist, too. In the end, Im glad I went to BikeSource. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was helped just a few moments after walking in. They took time to fit me properly, too. These guys dont just do the Hop on. Looks good! This is your size that many other shops do. They measure seat height, arm length, and how the knee sits over the pedal in the down stroke. Clay was patient with my indecision, explained everything thoroughly, and offered advice without being pushy. His friendly service drove me to pick up a bunch of extra gear all in one trip. They even worked with me on pricing! I would definitely recommend these guys. I will most certainly be going back when its time to upgrade.
This is a great bike shop for both service and product. The sales guys are super knowledgeable and will work to help you find the right bike or accessory. The service department is excellent and always gets it right the first time! I take both my road and mountain bike to Bike Source and they never disappoint.
I went in looking for some commonly available parts. The person who greeted me immediately went looking for them, but could not locate. He then advised perhaps another location had them, and said he would check. As I waited, I noticed him helping another customer. Then *another*. Finally he saw me and realized that I was still waiting. A few minutes later he walks up with another employee, who he is now handing me off too. He walks away, and the employee now helping me said that hed look again, perhaps the first missed it...I waited...and waited...until I saw him dealing with another customer. I took my busine$$ elsewhere. This store seems to base your importance on how much youre planning on spending. Never again.
Great price with service to match Plus you can get free service if you buy a bike from there
Fantastic Selection! Very Knowledgeable Staff! Even if you already have your mind made up, do yourself a favor and stop in and look around :-)
Why do bike stores have to only be open during bankers hours? -- you know, the times that people work and therefore cant buy bicycles?
Always very helpful. Was quickly guided to what I needed and expertly assisted and given suggestions for what I required. Excellent staff!
Great shop, as a native of Colorado I have been going there for years. They have the knowledge to put you in a bike that fits your ability and needs, and the repair shop does high quality work. I have never felt I was over - sold. Tyrel is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough, very happy with my last purchase!
Great place to purchase a bike. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely do your own homework but theyre a great supplement to the whole experience. Of course, theyll let you take a bike for a ride outside the shop if you wish. They have a few locations around Denver which is an added convenience.
This was my first experience walking into a bike store, all i needed was help with a flat, i was met with annoyance, hostility, and snide remarks. The repair guy said if i needed a tune up it would be a month before they could schedule me in, i ask what a tune up was, and he told me with an annoyed look on his face that they have a computer if i want to google it. I have never experienced that level of arrogance from a business. Have we really fallen so low in America that this is acceptable. Dont go here for repairs. One can only assume the quality of work matches the poor attitudes.
Excellent customer service! They were helpful and friendly and got my bicycle fixed and with new pedals installed in just a few minutes. Theyre also huge with a good selection of a lot of products.
Jesse was amazing with helping me fix my bikes wheel bearing/axle problems. Great customer service! Thanks Again!
Went to the enterance to wait. Guy comes at lets us in, but says we cant browse the bikes. And a really rude attitude. How am I supposed to get a bike when I cant even look at them?? Disappointment
My fiancee has really been getting into bikes, reading books, learning about how the mechanics work and how to make improvements. He commutes via bike each day to work. Friday we went into Bike Source to check it out since he needs repairs to his older bike and may even be getting a new one. We can in about 30 minutes to close and we felt totally welcomed and the staff was very attentive to all our question.I was impressed by their large layout and variety. Saturday, we came back in to take my fiancees bike in for service. While his bike was being repaired, a salesman helped me find a bike that was the perfect size for me (Im 5,2 so most bikes are.too big). Doug and his team was incredibly helpful and even though I hadnt planned to get ta bike that day, I left with an amazing bike that was customized to me :)I dont know a whole lot about bikes and some bike shops can be snobby if your not experienced or super fit but BikeSource and their employees are helpful and it doesnt matter if you are just getting into bikes, learning, getting back into it or are an expert, this shop will make you feel at home.
The customer service here is the worst. This place is a turn them and burn them kind of place. If you need a little help believe me you will be on your own,the mgr Chris also had an attitude -like a real chip on his shoulder so the very same day I went and bought a $3.500.00 bike elsewhere. There are lots of bike shops in Denver and staff that are helpful and nice. Now the service department- geez they have the same problem -nasty guy. All he could say was we are so busy we will get to you in a few days- whatt??? To bad because I live in the neighborhood . If you like abuse this is the place for you!!
I only give this place a one star because I have to. Every time I come here I get horrible customer service. They must work off commission. If you can find anywhere else to buy other than this place I would recommend it.
Perfect customer service. Listened to what I wanted, provided relevant suggestions, went the extra mile to get me a good deal. Thank you Eli.
Had a great experience getting my bike fit at this store. Simon, the fitter, was very helpful and attentive to my needs, and we had a constant dialogue while determining what would be best for my body and riding style. He gave tips and advice, and even helped me upgrade some of my gear to make my ride as smooth and easy as possible within my budget. I will definitely be coming back for any future bike maintenance!
We have purchased two bikes here and have received excellent service for both. I also recently brought in our older bike to be adjusted and the service tech was super friendly and took time to explain what he was doing. He went above and beyond for us in my opinion, especially since they were very busy and do not charge for adjustments for bikes purchased there. Very happy with the service here!
