Schwab Cycles is an excellent bike shop. I have taken my bike to Schwab many times for repair. They always do an excellent job and are quick to complete repairs at a fair price.
Great shop, lots of selection and great prices on service with quick turn around. Driven by here many times, but had no idea what was behind the doors. Very impressed, will be my go to shop going forward! Got my wheels taken care of same day.
Talk about knowing bicycles & cyclists needs from top to bottom! Sure there are mass market stores with low prices. But a serious cyclist, serious about health & safety, can get super & targeted recommendations & options at Schwab. No pressure, no criticism from these pros.
I really like this bicycle shop. Came in to get a tire fixed this morning and was taken care of. Will definitely come back and recommend to any cycling enthusiast.
Awesome stuff and store . Well stocked. Helpfully and professional
Bad service both times Ive been here additionally they ordered wrong parts and modified them to get by resulting in those parts failing and causing further damage to my bike. Very disappointed.
Great prices, great service. Bruce is owner.
Wonderful place, real people, outstanding service! Great independent shop, cant recommend them enough.
Of all the bike shops in Denver, this is my favorite. Wonderful, efficient, and knowledgeable staff. Very excited to send friends here.
Best shop in Denver for Campagnolo service! Reliably fast service to get you back on the road as soon as possible.
This is a classic bike shop with custom services that seemingly can provide/fix about anything bike related. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
My bike has been uncooperative this summer with constant flats and they hooked me up, quickly and professionally. The staff explained the possible reasons for the issues I may be having with my bike and gave me multiple solutions. They are very knowledgeable and helpful and I’m grateful for their help to get me back to riding smoothly.
My favorite shop- small and local, with an emphasis on rad road, cx, and gravel bikes (they still carry lots of mountain bike stuff, just dont sell many completes). The service is prompt and excellent- I got a wheel rebuilt in three days, even with covid workloads.
Great people and were super helpful getting me setup. They went above and beyond making sure to find the right bike for me! Thank you guys so much!!
Since I found this shop its been the only place Ill take my bike to for service/repairs. They have great service prices and get everything done quickly. Would definitely recommend checking this place out
Im quite fortunate to have these guys be situated between my work and my home, so when I got a flat tire, the other day, they dropped everything to get me fixed and back out on the road. Seriously, in and out in less than ten minutes. Thank you, for always doing great work on my old Specialized Hard Rock.
Dont let the attached Car Wash fool you. This is the place that has the experts in bike repair! Great bike brands too. I love this place! Oh, and they have Cupcake Fridays and most weekends pastries! Fun place filled with people who know and ride the bikes they love and it shows. So happy I found this place, I drive half way across the metro area to go here, thats how good it is.
As other reviewers have written, Schwab doesnt try to sell you something you dont need. I brought in my bike for their evaluation, fully expecting a laundry list of problems. I was pleasantly surprised when Walt said the tires and the rest of the bike was fine and all that was needed was a good tune-up - truing the wheels, etc. The bike rides so much better now. Great people, quick service, and great value. Highly recommended.
Friendly and replaced my tire in an hour! Would go back!
Great place, super helpful, and really quick. They were recommended to me by a friend. Could not have been happier. Ill defiantly recommend them to others.
Outstanding service Delivered when promised. Fair prices. Worth driving all the way from Cherry Creek, even though there are some good bike shops nearer by.
Brought Campagnolo ergo shifters for an upgrade and had them installed. Within three days, had to go to another shop to adjust the rear derailleur, as the chain was skipping cogs. Will look elsewhere for tune up.
We live far and the guys here fixed my little kids. They way they helped was most definitely noticed and appreciated. We’ll be going there for our bike needs
Great shop! Bruce Schwab is the owner and always willing to help. Wither youre chatting or buying. Walt is a great mechanic. Some times, Bruces Mom works there. No high pressure sales. Their product select is smaller than the bigger places but they will special order anything.
I had a set of wheels rebuilt here, after 100 miles the rear wheel starting coming apart, one of the nipples completely unscrewed from the spoke and was rolling around inside the rim, called they said oh I guess that spoke didnt get enough spoke prep, upon replacing the nipple I discovered that on the drive side there was a lot of spoke thread showing on the nipples inside the rim and then discovered that some of the spokes on the drive side where at there limit on thread count, took the wheel to another long time bike shop in central Denver, turns out schwab had used the same size spokes for both nondrive and drive side (contrary to the manufactures recommendation) resulting in a wheel that can now neither be trued, dished and is out of round. I am going to have the wheel rebuilt, odd this used to be the best place for wheel repair/rebuild.
Just come here. Its great.
Great little shop. Its a place for people that love bikes and want pro service. If youre sick of amateurs mauling your gear when you take it for service or want a tailored bike build, this is the place to go.
What a bike store should be! We have been patrons of Schwab Cycles for over fifteen years, and so appreciate their expertise and customer care! Recently my husband had a bike frame problem and Bruce assured us he would get him on a bike ASAP! He called us the next day with a solution, and had him back riding that week! They now have their own line of women’s clothing and the shorts fit like a glove, look great, and are super comfortable!! Check them out!
The people were very nice and helpful. The man who repaired the tire on our neighbors childs bike helped us immediately and quickly.
Someone wrote a review a week ago saying NO longer at this location.Dont be fooled - its still there. Its still the building connected to a car wash with the sweet 90s-looking art on the front. Kind of hard to find, I guess, especially on my trip when the front door was locked during business hours.Friendly, helpful staff. I brought my bike in for a shifter cable repair and they fixed it within 10 minutes (I was expecting 1+ days) and it cost less than $20 for parts and labor. Nice work!
My son crashed on his bike the outher day and messed up his breaks. They really made my sons day by fixing his bike and made mine by not charging me to fix it. Thank you very much
Nice selection of cycling gear, clothing, and bikes, especially considering the smaller size of the shop. A great compliment to the other bike shops on the west side of town.
This may be a nice enough shop and I just got unlucky, but I didnt have a great experience. I brought an older bike in that had been out in the elements for awhile to get it checked out and tuned up. They charged me for a tuneup and had it done the next day. When I got it home however, I noticed that the the tires were badly cracked all along the tread. Im sure new tires arent included in a tuneup, but no one mentioned that the tires needed to be replaced when they called me or when I picked it up.When I called them and told them what happened the guy basically just said that most people with older bikes dont want to spend the money on tires and I could bring it back in if I wanted new tires. This isnt the kind of service I was expecting when I asked to have the bike checked out. I think Ill be going somewhere else for the tires. Maybe this place only wants to be working on fancy expensive bikes. That said, the bike seems to ride pretty well, so the tuneup itself was good.
Small shop with lot of nice products!
Nice people, family owned for decades. Went in for a quick tape change and they were very helpful, fast and well priced.
First time there and they treated me like I was their top customer- they fixed my bike immediately, did an excellent job and were so friendly and knowledgeable. I cant wait to go back and support them.
A genuine, down-to-earth bike shop. You can talk to the service folks, or if you prefer Bruce, an owner, is usually close-by.A pleasant option to the big corporatized stores.Vive la small businesses.
Id really like to support these guys more as the owner(s) is/are knowledgable, easy to talk with and is a true (in my opinion) bike lover, aficionado and active supporter of cycling and local cycling events. They also usually have a great deal of what I need in stock and at better prices than most higher end local bike stores. That being said, Ive opted to not go back as the bike service received is hit and miss. Ive had occasions where mechanics have left greasy hand prints all over the bike (frame, saddle, etc), brake cables not fastened correctly and even one occasion where, after a build, the headset wasnt even secured... Nothng I wasnt able to clean/fix myself, but the brake and headset issues just didnt give me much confidence in the job theyre doing and the work Im paying for.
Great people, service, and their prices are good too.
Excellent quality service, always for a reasonable price. They keep me on my bike throughout the year.
Reasonably priced and they have been great at squeezing me in for same day repairs! This is my bike shop of choice for Denver!
If you bring in a bike thats less than 1,000 dollars prepare to be laughed at and not taken seriously. I had these guy put a new chain and new cables on my bike when i left the shop i couldnt shift into half of my gears and the chain was wayyy too long as if they took it out of the package and just slapped it on instead of measuring it. I ended up going to another shop and they fixed this shops errors for free. if you like high end bikes and high end attitudes this is the shop for you. If you want to ask questions and get to know different parts and why they do things prepare to have a sour taste in your mouth. I will give them credit they do stock alot of different parts no waiting around type of stuff but tech service is abysmal and i just didnt feel welcomed in the shop. Wont be going back to
Extremely excellent service. Just a bit pricey for anything but maintenance and repairs.
Great shop....friendly and excellent service.
I continually go here for basic supplies and service. The owners do well with keeping up with my demand!
Great shop with friendly and helpful staff
I just bought my second bike from them. This is my favorite shop in town.
Great customer service!
The best
Bruce is a god!...of cycling.
Very good and fast service
