I really like the food and atmosphere. Employees are all good. The biggest issues is management cant seem to count! Ive been coming here for months and they are out of bagels by 9:30 10 am almost every time now. This is a bagel place and since they cant figure out how to keep stock. Ill be making my bagel sandwich at home. Plus the line is always long, they should let people know they are out of their main product on a daily basis. If you want a bagel sandwich cone early or dont bother.Wish they could figure out there stock issues and fix it! Silly!

This is my go-to neighborhood place for coffee and bagels. Their lox bagel sandwich is amazing and affordable for what you get! On a nice day, I enjoy chilling on their huge patio. There have been a few service snafus - I find that ordering through the ChowNow app and then walking to pickup, I have no wait time. My one complaint is that several times that we have tried to get coffee in the late afternoon, we were told that they stopped serving coffee for the day. Even though their website advertises having drinks and coffee all day. Every coffee place in this area closes early, so I think they would be able to capitalize on this by having coffee til close. If this happens, I’ll increase my review to 5 stars!Updated 10/31/21: they have since updated their coffee service til 7pm which we appreciate!! It would be even better til close, but still a favorite neighborhood spot.

Great place to hang out and work or meet with a friend. The staff is really friendly, great spacious patio area, TVs behind the bar, or nice couches for a more comfortable vibe. Coffee is not the best but there are plenty of other great options. If they stepped up the coffee game this place would be perfect!

The Radiator is a refreshing and modern update to the charming but barren Common Grounds that stood in its place the year before. The space is open and airy. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The furnishings are comfortable and inviting.I can’t wait to meet up with friends here or camp out for an afternoon with my laptop and a book. With space to run around and a few things for the kids to play on (not to mention the nearby playground down the street) I’m also adding this to my list of go-to spaces to entertain friends with little ones (two-legged and four-legged alike)

My favorite morning spot for coffee, bagels, and wifi and evening patio for drinks, food, and a vibe.In the morning, solid iced Americanos, bomb rosemary bagels, and the most affordable breakfast sandwiches you can find in the area (Im looking at you, Rosenbergs). For later in the day, amazing food options and beer and wine selections to go with them. When they’re posted on the patio, Split Lip Chicken has the best burger and hot chicken sandwich you can find in Denver. The hot chicken sandwich has the crunchiest exterior, cool slaw, and the right amount of heat. And the burger is exactly what I want it to be: potato bun, thinly sliced pickles, and juicy patty with the crispiest/craggiliest edges.

Sadly I arrived too late for bagels on this visit but have enjoyed them for takeout on previous occasions. We tried two of the wraps which were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks were good. A little confused about the cocktail menu since they do not offer anything with hard liquor. Great beer list though!

Editing my review. I so wanted to like this coffee shop but man is the service slow. I timed it this last time. Placed my order (coffee and a bagel with pain cream cheese). Picked up my order on the counter 18 minutes later. They also pick favorites and will say bagels arent available only to give them to someone who arrives later. Which is fine, but I wish they would just say that instead of lie. Drip coffee of better than the espresso drinks. Leroys bagels are okay... Wish they had partnered with Rosenbergs.

This was such a great find! I just moved to the area and was looking for a solid place to chill for a couple of hours in the afternoon. The baristas were super friendly and made one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while (Iced Lavender Matcha Latte)! The inside was super cute and the music was very relaxing. The outdoor patio is ADORABLE. Very spread out and not too crowded which was great for COVID distancing. I will absolutely be coming back to try their bar menu, which looked incredibly diverse. SO happy to have found this place!

Great place but Ive been here 5 times and EVERY time theyve been out of bagels. I finally decided to ask about the issue and the person at the register just told me to expect that theyll run out of bagels most days...like, what?! Ordering more bagels and ending the day with some extras isnt going to kill your business, but consistently running out of food will.

They didn’t have any of the sandwiches we want but oh my gosh we were not disappointed!! I ended up with an egg and cheese on sourdough bread and an earl grey tea, and my wife got a BLAT and a lavender matcha latte and we were in heaven! The staff were so nice, our food was out quickly and this little place was so so good. Gender neutral bathrooms which is always fantastic, definitely LGBTQ+ friendly!!

Nearly everytime they are out of bagels. They have improved service a little. Dont have to wait a half hour anymore. Im guessing they solved this by not allowing same day orders to go or online (which makes that service useless) and sending all calls to voicemail. Seems they patched the problem but didnt solve it. Its sad frankly.

After coming here for months and ordering the same thing the baristas could never remember the order. Better service at Starbucks up the road. The order is the same yet every time we’re charged it’s a different price. Today was charged for large and they didn’t even have large cups so they just gave me a size down for the same large size. Absolute zero consistency’sToday was the last time I’ll ever go . Ordered. After ten minutes of cups sitting there and employees just talking to eachother did they start the drinks. Ridiculous service.

Review №31

I want to love this place but they need to improve big time. Their staff isnt friendly or even acknowledging about basic things such as how far theyre behind in making a drink or sandwhich. Ive given them 10 tries and every time they have several customers waiting upwards of 20+ minutes for a coffee or even longer for a sandwhich. You can see the frustration build on everyones face waiting for their order. It would be faster at a sit down restaurant. They are often out of their bagels. This message is hopefully to make management know there are 1. Missing money due to how slow they are making orders and 2. Letting others know dont come here if you expect a coffee quickly. It could be 25 minutes before you get it and they wont tell you that or even acknowledge you waited forever. Staff stinks but likely thats the managements fault.

Love this new spot in the neighborhood and probably have been in a dozen times. My only complaint is that they run out of food too fast. They order their bagels from Leroys and local burritos elsewhere and should probably up the quantity. Also, only happened once, but I ordered a chai with oat milk and got real dairy instead - not a good mistake to make. I know they are still somewhat a start-up so they get a pass for now. I look forward to stopping in again soon.

The Radiator is off to a strong start becoming THE neighborhood spot. The massive patio area with ample seating is the perfect space to enjoy a morning coffee with your doggo, a working lunch, or a late night drink. The coffee is great, the sangria (esp. the red) is fantastic and not too sweet, and theres a solid selection of draft and bottled beer, including a few Belgians that you cant find everywhere. Service is also excellent and very friendly. I highly recommend checking out The Radiator; Ill be back morning, noon, and night.

Stopped in with my brother to check this place out twice last week and was pleasantly surprised. Sunnyside has really been lacking in a spot like this that does the all day cafe type thing with breakfast + coffee in the AM, lunch and then transitioning into drinks in the evening. So far weve tried out the breakfast (the breakfast burritos are really solid) + ice cream in the evening and anticipate well be back often in the future.Sometimes with places like this that are trying to do so much (breakfast, daytime work space, dog friendly, bar in the evening etc) they sort of cut corners, but the Radiator seems to be taking all of their offerings seriously (from using Leroys bagels to having a thoughtful beer list). Great addition to the neighborhood!

I had low expectations from what I heard from my neighbors, but wow is an understatement. The bagels are slapped together in a rush (understandable since they seem understaffed), but tasted decent. Made the mistake of getting a burrito for my wife. Tasted like it’s been sitting in a warmer for a week. But the rude lady (Meghan?) insisted “bUt ItS lOcAl”. Threw it out. I’d have given this place another chance if she wasn’t so obnoxious to us and her staff. Seemed apathetic to the disaster going on. Hard pass.

This place is amazing! The vibe is trendy, casual, chic coffeehouse & bar.COVID: They are taking great COVID precautions - they have a big tent set up for more open dining, they take your temperature at the door, and can open the big garage door windows for more airflow. The patio is huge and very spread out.Food: Great bagel sandwiches & breakfast burritos (served all day). Do yourself a favor and get the Caprese..so good.Drinks: Full coffee menu, great beers on tap, wine, and sangria! The red sangria was fantastic.I will definitely be heading to Radiator on warmish Denver days to sit out on the patio or even on chillier days to sit in the tent. It feels very safe.
