Without a doubt, my worst retail experience from these guys. Extremely responsive when you inquire and will immediately collect your car but I have now been waiting 28 days for my car when I sent it in to be serviced.
Tried to set up a time to get my car fixed, the insurance company already has the estimate done, and got nothing but arguments and justifications from the gal there. They are even a preferred provider for my insurance company. Should have been a simple transaction, and turns out somebody else will get the work.
Tried their service, it was a bad experience. Considering the business environment I generally avoid sharing bad experiences but this one is an exception so that people dont fall into the marketing trap as a high probability of one landing into a bigger mess either in form of high repair costs or damage to vehicle after getting serviced through them.
Dont have the foggiest idea what they doing. On offer up, on the off chance that you communicate something specific getting some information about things it requires days to reach back. Then, at that point, they dont react after you like another inquiry.

Avoid at all costs. Taking your car in will turn into a drawn-out dilemma. Took two cars in. Took almost a month for a two-week job. Over buffing the paint added on one week. On both pick-ups, they asked for only half of the deductibles then aggressively called saying that the full deductible wasnt paid even though receipts show they asked for only half, with no remaining balance. Not very professional.
Terrible service and communication. Had my squirt skis for 3-4 months. Wouldnt answer my calls, kept saying they would be completed, and didnt inform me when it was delayed. Rude workers, when asked why took longer than they had anteriorly stated he said we should have taken them fair else! Would nowise go back and recommend no bone else does.

I have an line of vehicles and was searching for a body shop close to our office. I had a vehicle that was in a new mishap taken by Platinum moment and they let my motorist know that a hand costs$ 100. I will not ever pay for a hand anyhow of whether they say they will credit it back to a deal. Imagine a script where the hand is not serious. This absurd business practice just expense them a shot at further than 20 vehicles. Our motorists get marks and dings constantly and Id prefer to sort them out. Sorry that Platinum is so foolish.
My experience throughout the process is disappointing all around. They underquoted on price and turn-around time. Had to get my insurance company involved two different times to get things moved along. I took it in to have the hail damaged repaired. Heres a list of items that werent repaired when I got them back.
When they are a recommended business by your insurance you would think when you called they would be happy to help. Not the guy I got on the phone he talked really slow like he was lost.
My experience was awful. The new manager made it apparent customer service, and basic office operations are not his priority.
After incorrectly repairing the bumper of my car, his shop scratched my driver-side door and they is now refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor and refusing to fix my vehicle back to the condition it was in before his shop added additional damage. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS SHOP.

Do not use this company! Our family truck was kept for over 6 months. We had to pay attorney fees to get it back. The truck was not painted as requested and the cost was much higher than quoted.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. The car has been in the garage for several weeks with no feedback, no idea when itll be ready, rude customer service, absent manager. To the point where I am planning on calling the Police.
Do NOT use this company!! Worst experience ever! They took my car and indicated on the receiving record that my service book was taken by them. The return record shows the service book is not in the car!!

I had the same issue as Marc did Family Auto body did not complete my work correctly and left my car unfinished now they are bankrupt. Originally this company took over and I spoke to someone who was unwilling to help stating they were not related at all. I see that Mike was willing to help Marc and understand I would have liked the same result as that. Also Thomas Meyers rated this place a 5 star he is the last guy I spoke to who was supposed to “take care” of everything so I find it funny he is rating you all but there is no connection. At this point I just want unfinished work done which is not this company’s fault but at least is you are going to take over location. And phone number of a bad bankrupt business expect upset customers calling. I want a resolution and have been tying to get one since I got my vehicle back. There are minor damage that need to be fixed some that were totally missed by Family auto that insurance is still willing to pay for. Please take this review seriously and provide a response as your company did claim to “take over” Family auto body’s number I have no contact with them and you all are the next best option especially since you were able to help Marc who had the same situation

I have a fleet of vehicles and was looking for a body shop near our office. I had a car that was in a recent accident taken by Platinum today and they told my driver that an estimate costs $100. I will never pay for an estimate even if they say they will credit it back to a sale. What if the estimate isnt competitive? This ridiculous business practice just cost them a shot at over 20 vehicles. Our drivers get dents and dings all the time and Id like to get them fixed. Sorry that Platinum is so short sighted.
