Very enjoyable ☺️ the flavor of the coffee was the best! We drank cappuccino with banana coconut bread and Nutella croissant 🥐 the small break was very delicious and rejuvenating. I highly recommend passing by here, at least for a small treat.

Placed order to go. Food came out 7 min after order was placed. However the coffee took another 15min. Hope the owner reviews cameras for this day from 9:48am to 10:20am. Barista excuse was he had a lot of orders. 🤦🏿. So my coffee order would have just sat on the counter.Apart from that both coffee & food were very good. Dana Macchiatowith lavender was well flavored 👍🏿. My very particular wife enjoyed the food so I will be returning. Took this order home but will be back to eat in with friends. Hope the coffee ☕ service will be improved.

Good atmosphere but the prices are outrageous for coffee. All prices listed are for the smallest size. Over $4, for a medium iced coffee and $5 for a large which equates to the size of a Venti at Starbucks. Coffee does not taste superior to any other run of the mill coffee maker. The avocado toast is the saving grace here.The cashier also is a problem. I didn’t get her name but she rolled her eyes at me because I didn’t tip for just getting an iced coffee only. I would tip if i ordered something more involved. I read another review that mentions the same girl, she probably needs to go.

Ive been back to this place time after time and have recommended it to friends and Im not only a huge fan, Im an advocate because I tell everyone about it. If you havent had the chicken-avocado-cheese flatbread from Carmelas, you just havent lived a full life! Seriously, if you live in Palm Beach County, stop by Carmelas and enjoy a great experience - great dining environment, amazing staff, and food and coffee that will keep you dreaming about coming back!

This is a great little neighborhood coffee place that makes really good coffee and snacks and is so comfortable it feels like you are hanging out in your living room. The employees are really nice and always provide great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating and overall this is a huge step up from the local Starbucks!

Aesthetically the place was beautiful but unfortunately the girl working the register was just straight up nasty. She kept rolling her eyes and giving us a disgusting attitude while she rang in our order and after doing so she had the audacity to talk bad about us to her co-workers as they made our food. She complained about us not tipping her (at a coffee shop) and complained about the way we ordered our churros. We heard everything because she thought we had left outside even though we waited for our food inside.We had no problem paying good money for a high-end coffee shop, but if we are willing to pay for an over priced coffee and a stale croissant that’s been sitting in the window for 30 days the least we could expect is some respect from the workers.

This place has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! And the atmosphere is warm friendly and cozy!

One of the best spots in town! Super clean, coffee and tea is great, food is amazing! I ordered the spinach and artichoke quiche, the caprese quiche, the avocado salmon toast, the guava and cream cheese croissant, a butter croissant, and a chai tea. All were out of this world!! Cant wait to return!

The area needed a local coffee spot with a comfy couch, where you can go and sit and read a book or have a nosh in comfort and style, and Carmela is that place! Totally chill vibe. Nice diverse clientele, unlike some places in the area that can feel homogeneous. The coffee is yum. Just one star off for $$$. It’s a little expensive. But worth it.

If i could rate this with no stars i would. I never write reviews but this is really needed. Today was my first time trying this place out and the girl with the long brown hair at the register had such a nasty attitude while we were placing our order. When I went back in to get some sugar packets for my coffee, she was talking bad about what I ordered and how i wanted it to whoever it is that makes the food (and they saw i was right there) and he rolled his eyes and then she said and they didnt even tip as they were laughing. We would have tipped if she wasnt so nasty to begin with because we are not the type of people to not tip. The manager there should hire some new people that know proper customer service.

Very disappointed! Was looking forward to a somewhat upscale place for coffee and brunch . The place has potential, but requires lots of improvement. Ambiance is good but the outside was dirty and lots of flies . On to the food : avocado toast with poached egg . The toast is too thick for the delicate poached egg and creamy avocado. The avocado itself was too cold and chunky, which made the egg cold quickly, and it lacked taste .coffee was ok, but even with a double shot, it was too milky. Service was poor as the first order the toast was not toasted. Once toasted, after the returned serving, the slice was so thick that it was difficult to eat, not to mention overwhelming with bread dough. There was no attention from the sparse service to check on the satisfaction (or disappointment thereof) of the customer. Place requires a lot of improvements, quality and service wise, before we return to this place .

Absolutely amazing place! Good food, friendly employees, welcoming atmosphere! The WI-FI is terrific as well, so its a great place to do some remote work.

Coffee is very mediocre and the matcha latte is probably the worst out there. Croissant came out burnt and was unappetizing. Avocado toast was just as bad. The best thing was the orange juice

This experience far surpassed my expectations, from the friendliness of the staff to the attention to detail on even the most minor things. The food, fantastic - and the presentation was even better.However, what stood out to me was the customer service; there was quite a crowd, but everything moved quickly and efficiently, without the hint of frenetic activity. I’m only sorry that I can’t leave more stars, because this place is a gem!

This place is awesome! This location is my favorite for how spacious it is and how nice the employees are. They remember my name and order every time so it’s a great experience. Oh, and the avocado toast is to die for!

I have been here twice. I’ll start by saying the avocado toast is very good as well is the chocolate croissants. Their food alone gets five stars.What is frustrating, and the reason why I only gave them three is they do not serve cold brew and the service can be a little chaotic and unorganized. Any seasoned coffee lover knows that iced coffee just does not replace cold brew. Iced coffee is bitter and acidic. My recommendation to the owner would be to start brewing cold brew. It’s the easiest drink you will have on your menu.Lastly the staff behind the counter on both occasions have been polite but a little chaotic and unorganized. It seems they need to adjust their role definitions a bit.Overall I won’t be back until they have cold brew but if you like avocado toast this is your spot.

Nice atmosphere. Decent food. Our order was forgotten though they werent very busy. They did their best to make up for it. If I were in the neighborhood Id return but I wouldnt go out of my way.

We went for a coffe and some churros, Saturday afternoon 4:40 p.m.When we got inside the coffee shop the lady working there looked at us in disbelief. We went to the cashier to order and were informed that we just could have drinks.Well, as a business owner myself if I say we are open until 5 p.m we literally are open until the last minute.As a client it’s a bit frustrating, rushing all the way there and didn’t get what I want.

Gabi was our barista - so sweet and helpful!We just got lattes (👌) but definitely planning to come back for lunch or something because we saw them bring out so many dishes that looked amazing.

Waited for a Hot Macchiato an Expresso and a banana bread for 14 minutes. When we asked they said “ oh sorry we may have lost your order”. Well we were sitting across from the register. That just blows my mind. They were just talking away and did nothing to expedite the order... ohhh and then they brought me a cold Macchiato instead. So had to wait for them to re-do my coffee.Disappointed with Delray location !!!!!But ... I have to say the banana break and coffees were delicious!!

As a big fan of the Boca location, I have to say I was a little disappointed with this one. For the positives, I’ll say the location is good, the interior decor is quite nice and the space is very open.Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing. The cappuccino I ordered tasted burned and was quite watered down. The staff was attentive and nice enough to remake the coffee, though it still was a bit watered down. Perhaps it was just an off day and perhaps it was a different type of bean used, but nevertheless, I just can’t give it a really high rating at this time. I believe this location opened quite recently, so I’m willing to give them some time and hopefully they’ll improve and be on par with the Boca location.

I love going to this cute cafe for a caramel macchiato and California chicken flatbread! It is very cozy and spacious. I highly recommend it!
