Ive leased Volkswagon’s for 20 years and I have to say they have very consistent compared to other car brands. From start to finish leasing two cars took about 4 hours between signing and driving home. I will definitely be going back to get my next VW.

This is the third Gunther car lease for my family..I went to the dealership for a 20,000 mile maintenance visit and was told my tire had a nail in it and needed to be replaced. It was surprising because the tire light never went on? It always does. The cost for the new tire was $194.00. I though that seemed like a high price so I called Firestone. They quoted me $99.00. I told my Gunther Sales Consultant that Firestone quoted $99.00 and could he match it. He said “Go to Firestone”. Wrong answer.

This place has a great service department. Ask for Dominick; he is the best. He is very honest and upfront about what you need. Sometimes it is a painful conversation, but he does everything he can to help the customer. He will tell you what you need immediately abs what can wait to be fixed. What other kind of service person do you want? Simply great!

At the end of June, we had to find a car for our daughter who was leaving for college. We came all the way from Tampa to purchase the specific car she had asked for. We only went this far because of this dealership’s outstanding reviews online, so I had to take the time to share our experience because they truly went above and beyond. Shorty after purchasing our used car, we ran into a few issues. There are too many details to share, but it’s important to note Mr. Gunther and his team graciously worked with us to resolve them. They upheld the “golden rule” and treated us with the utmost respect and true customer appreciation that often is not seen at other dealerships. Although we live quite a ways away, our family would not hesitate to travel the distance and purchase another vehicle. I had the worst experience at Delray VW service center. I was given the run around in time even though I was told 1.5 to 2 hours. I would have rescheduled. I understand staffing is an issue but when I spoke with the manager the excuse was well it’s only an additional 1.5 hours and that’s not bad … who says that! He shouldn’t be a manager. I didn’t mind the time, I just would have planned accordingly. I was told at the 2 hour mark that well we had 7 vehicles to service. Ummm if staffing is an issue why would you schedule 7 vehicles !!!! I never got an apology and my services were not complete. I am so disappointed in how this was handled. I do not recommend using their services ! I won’t ever again !

It was time for my yearly oil change and I made an appointment with Drew my Service Manager who always takes great care of me. I had the tires rotated and a belt changed and spark plugs replaced. I was pleasantly surprised that by 11:50 am all the work was done and I was on my way home. Wouldnt have my Beetle serviced anywhere else. Thanks DREW!

Came in 10/23/2021 to check out this used 2013 Toyota Highlander they had for sale, saw the car and it looked different from the pictures, there was a scratch that took off the pain in the front bumper, there was a rip in the center console, the vehicle smelled like dogs and rips in the leather, which I understand it was an older car but none of that is seen in the pictures online. Next when we pointed out these flaws the sales guy (forgot his name bc he wasn’t that memorable) was unwilling to negotiate the price of the vehicle considering these flaws, and when he talked to his manager (also forgot his name) they were both unwilling to negotiate the price and claimed their vehicle was the “the best in the country”, lol ok whatever you say, left annoyed, and made the drive to Kendall Toyota and bought their highlander that was in better condition and better price!

We were referred by my cousin to Gunther Delray. Curtis our salesman was the epitome of professional & caring. He went above and beyond for us. Our deal ran late and he was perfectly content staying past closing helping us set up the inside car features. 5 stars!!

We leased two cars from Gunther.Being a repeat customer means you become a second class citizen. I guess they figure with mileage issues and fees and everything else it takes to go someplace else you’ll never leave.And don’t bother getting the tire insurance. You pay the bill every month and if needed they don’t honor the insurance.I don’t care what it takes financially or emotionally -like putting up with mediocre service, we can’t take it anymore.We’re done with Gunther. Good riddance

Well one week after my daughter and her husband bought their new VW Atlas from David Santa we decided to meet with David for our new vehicle. Not totally happy but did buy a car. We made a deal shook hands and then 15 minutes later our salesman came back and wanted 250 more dollars. If he came back to me he would have expected me to pay what we agreed on and not ask for 250 less. He also told us that he would tint the windows for free the next day and the he would set it up in the morning. He then said the next day at 5 that he would set it for Thursday. That never happened so we paid more and never got what was promised and bought a car represented incorrectly. There were 64 mile on the car and they said there were 6! We were stupid when signing the paperwork and not running out there to check on the mileage. Anyway I hope the car is a good car. It is beautiful and got 34 miles to the gallon on the way to Atlanta. BTW is a Toas.

I bought a car pre-owned, everything went well until they gave me the car which was suppose to be detailed inside. Unknowingly when I picked up the car that night the next morning I noticed the Inside of the car was very filthy when I called my salesman Matthieu he told me to come in and they will fix it, unfortunately after an hour and a half drive and 2 hour wait I was highly disappointed, I could’ve done a better job myself. I asked to speak to a manager several times and nobody ever came to speak to me. Wasted my time wouldn’t refer anyone here because I felt I was treated unfairly.

The cashier is the most pleasant person ever. If it is early morning or afternoon she always puts a smile on my face.The service has always been good. My only negative is that the waiting room. It takes you back to 1960. The couch is falling apart and it is not very appealing. They should check out the one at Delray Honda. But I do love the coffee machine.

Gunther Volvo Service, lead by Dominic, is outstanding; Dominic is the consummate professional. My car was thoroughly checked, the service repair technicians performed all the necessary tests and made all the repairs in a timely fashion. They go above and beyond and notify you of exactly what they are doing and give you an accurate time for completion. Dominic could not be more considerate and accommodating; a ride home is offered if you wish that. The waiting room is cheerful with room for social distancing; coffee, tea, or hot chocolate is offered. I cannot imagine a better experience and have always found Gunther to be the most honest dealership and service facility that one could ever wish for.

I brought my 2020 S60 lease in for a tire rotation and an oil change. That same week the car was driving horribly. It was shaking around 45mph and continued to get worse. This happened after the dealership did the oil change and tire rotation. I had the car towed in. They said I hit something, making it shake. I never hit anything, the only change in the vehicle was the tire rotation done that same week by the dealership.They then said I needed two new tires because mine were bubbled, and that I also needed an alignment. Even thought this is a lease and none of this was my fault, they charged me $608.00 for the service. Today, I drove the vehicle to work and all the tire pressure lights came on.Worst experience and these costs were bogus. The vehicle drove fine prior to the service. They put the blame and cost on me.

Sales manager doesn’t know what he’s doing even though he’s “been in the business for 10 years”. I kept getting a blue screen on my Jeep Grand Cherokee screen and was told by them “it’s normal for Jeeps”.... went to my Jeep dealership yesterday to drop the car off and they said that this dealership should never sell Jeeps again. So take that as you will. He also gave me this car with $1,000+ in damages after saying he did a full inspection on the car.

Bought a used Hyundai Sonata from them: was assured the car was in great condition . Radio didn’t work, even though they said it did on the website, tires can’t seem to hold air, dashboard is cracking, buttons on wheel are broken and the remote start key fob doesn’t work. I’ve tried repeatedly to get issues resolved to no avail and get a passé hand waive response that doesn’t help me at all.

This was my first time at this dealership. I had a screw in my tire and I made an appointment online for a few hours after I noticed it. Very easy process online. I have the tire protection plan, so the plug was free. They also replaced my horn for free, since it was making some weird sound. They have a licensed massage therapist in the lobby Tuesday and Thursdays that gave me an amazing neck and back massages COMPLIMENTARY! It was a great experience. Sadly I used to work at Schumacher and got my Tiguan from them in April. I wouldnt go back to them as a customer if you paid me. I do hate the Tiguan though, worst vehicle Ive ever had. Thank goodness its a lease. The service I received at Gunther was great though.

I came in this morning without an appointment… and they were very very busy…so was told to make an appointment and come back. I was disappointed and the man at the service shop noticed and said no problem we’ll fit you in now and immediately looked at my car that needed change of oil, tires rotated, change of oil etc!!!!! And gave me estimate of all the other big things my car needed…..truly appreciate all they did for me… looking to purchase a car ASAP from them, definitely a superd, no bs dealership 👍🏻

Buy a vehicle with 3 remotes that have no keys I had to call for update as Mario did not reach out to me and at first said I wouldhave to buy the keys!!!!!!!

Absolutely horrendous service experience and zero response from management. I will preface this review with the fact that I have bought or leased numerous cars since 1999 from the Fort Lauderdale location and have always had great service experiences at that location. I own a 2015 Golf TDI which is covered by the extended Dieselgate warranty, the car has 128k miles which is still 40k under the cutoff mileage pursuant to the settlement with VW. Anytime I have any issue with the engine, exhaust or fuel system or even get a check engine light I always take it to the dealer to make sure if it is a warranty item it will be covered and documented. Since moving to Palm Beach County, DelRay is now the closest dealer.About 2 months ago the car started losing power at highway speeds intermittingly and the car would buck back and forth and then go away. The car also would stall out at lower speeds but start right back up again. No CEL would ever come on. I took it into DelRay and was told I would need to agree to pay a diagnostic fee, although I was not happy based on the symptoms, I did agree. About 90 minutes later I was told the issue was a loose oil cap, it seemed that could cause a vacuum leak which might cause the problem. The diagnostic fee was cut in half, however, a long list of routine maintenance items were presented most of which had already been performed at my primary mechanic, a VW specialist. As an aside since this a Diesel the DPF system uses a self cleaning or regen system, it occurs on its own especially when driving long distances at higher speeds, the service adviser while very nice was not very informed on how the system works or the signs a DFP regen was taking place, a manual regen was 1 of the recommended service items. The total costs was hundreds of dollars.The next day the issue returned as I was on the highway traveling at 70 mph, and experience a drop in speed to 50! Back to the dealer in Delray. the next day. The first service adviser was off so the new service adviser took the information. Less than 30 minutes later, I was told that the technician could not diagnose the problem with out all of the routine items, which other than the fuel filter being clogged would not cause the issues. Checking a clogged fuel filter should have been part of the diagnostic fee, its takes 5 minutes to pop the top of the fuel filter assembly and check the filter. Mind you the first time the car was in, it was not driven off of the lot to check the issue and the second time I highly doubt it was. The second service adviser essentially turned his back and told me to take it up with VW Corporate. He did not provide me with any paperwork to even see what was done by the technician.I took my car to my mechanic, had the maintenance done and a throttle fault was found. VW Corporate scheduled service at another dealer who has been very responsive in trying to track down the issue, which still has not been pinpointed.I did not speak to anyone at Delray in management on the second visit, I was definitely not feeling good about the experience, however, I did call and left messages for the service manager and emailed through the main contact form explaining that I need to speak to someone about getting refund of the diagnostic fee since there really was no service provided. I emailed the General Manager, sent a letter via US Mail, no response, contacted the registered agent/attorney who advised if the General Manager did not respond it was because he felt my request had no merit and I would need to file a small claims action! This complete disregard and lack of common courtesy is not what I remember of the Gunther Group! I certainly will not be buying a new car from them.

My experience buying a car at VW Delray was the best! Franco was extremely nice and professional. The transaction was quick and I drove away with my beautiful 2021 Atlas!! Thank you to everyone at VW Delray!

Short: Delray service advisors are rude and trying upsell everything so go to Gunther Coconut Creek. They only got two stars because they are close to my house.Long: I’ve been to the Delray location many times and stopped getting anything major done or diagnosed here because of the repeat rudeness and them trying to get me to pay for things I didn’t need. This time I made an appointment for just an oil change online and when I got there they couldn’t find my appointment. Then they told me they wouldn’t honor the coupon they sent me, also it would be at least an hour and a half for an oil change. Since I couldn’t stay that long, my husband came to stay with the car. I tried to pay before I left but was advised that I couldn’t prepay in case there was something else that came up. I told the lady behind the counter I just wanted an oil change and she said it didn’t matter something else could come up.

Went in for a standard, Touareg, oil change $99.95 before tax. My appointment was at 1p and they finished around 2:17p. More than enough time for no one to great me when I initially pulled in for servicing and to take a nap inside. The cashier was nice (the only staff who really acknowledged my genuine existence. Anyway, once I received my vehicle back there was no paper floor mat, no complimentary wash or mat shake. Not even a top off of fluids (windshield wiper fluid, etc) although it was stated on the receipt. The computer in my truck wasnt even updated to show that I had a service completed.Outside of my excellent nap, theres no need for me to frequent the dealership for maintenance when they provide below standard customer service.

Terrific, courteous, professional and completed regular maintenance in one hour, thirty minutes faster than promised.
