Beautiful independent coffee shop in a small town. Very good coffee. We ordered lattes which were strong, creamy, aromatic and well balanced. The barista paid attention to details and is very nice. We have been here a few times whenever in Dekalb and never disappointed. Highly recommended!

Great coffee, wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. Feels so good to come here instead of Duncan or Starbucks, less expensive and the quality is so much better!! Come here and you will want to keep coming back.

Kyle and Daria are awesome! Also, just had a coffee toffee and it tasted awesome! Their place is super cute. There is no indoor seating though. You can purchase t-shirts, mugs, and gift cards. They are also offering curbside pickup from your car if you go around back. So, if you were in the area and wanted to order ahead of time, just give them a call. At this time, I do not believe they do online ordering. If you want to support a local business, this is one of them I would recommend. They opened up during COVID-19 pandemic, so every little bit helps! Masks are required instore and their is no indoor dining.

I live out of state and stopped at this coffee shop to grab a quick cup to go. This place has amazing coffee! The inside is cozy and welcoming and the owner was friendly and inviting. Their menu has a lot to offer including a selection of fantastic tasting instant coffees - yes, instant coffee that tastes good! If you spend anytime in your car or have a need for a to go cup, you have to get one at Cast Iron Coffee. It has the perfect shape to fit in any cup holder, holds a significant amount of coffee, keeps my coffee hot and has an easy to open/close lid which is key for when youre driving. I cant wait to come back to town and stop by again!

Tried for the first time this week and all I could think was “why did I wait so long!” SOOOO GOOD! I had the Huskie Latte, hot with oat milk and it was incredible! I will definitely be making this a regular stop. Love that they have a curbside pick up option too!

This shop has an amazingly friendly and welcoming feel. We have loved everything we have tried (drip coffee, blended, iced, hot coco, ans hot tea). On my most recent visit I showed the owner a low carb/calorie order from Starbucks and he helped me to figure out how to order it there. The staff is friendly, the drinks are good, and the shop is clean!

Great coffee! Lots of choices. The space is a cool cabin kind of feel. I can see it being a big hit once this pandemic ends. When I went to NIU, there wasnt any cool coffee shops like this so Im glad they finally have something.

This is the best local coffee joint DeKalb has to offer. Prices are affordable, drinks are tasty, this is the place to go for bomb coffee!!

Great coffee, and tea, or a mixture such as the dirty chai! If you are looking for a locally own shop that is personable and cozy then search no more. I even run with my dog there and they bring me my order outside. No other service is that accommodating!
