I’ve had a few repairs done here and I’ve been really pleased with the work. Both jobs were done quickly and at a fair price. Bill is a straight shooter and a completely honest and trustworthy guy. Would highly recommend.

If your vehicle needs gas,air or most types of repairs this is the place to go. Repairs are done right the first time. Technicians are very experienced and knowledgeable.

I rolled into town from out of state to see family, and half way through my trip one of our pulleys and belts came loose, resulting in losing my power steering. This was the day before Thanksgiving, so we had to limp into town as no shops were open or had availability on our route. We had a really small window to get the car fixed for our return trip, and Bill heard us out and somehow slipped us in. He fully explained what happened (negligence from our last tune-up at our usual shop), gave me a detailed write-up of the issue so I could bring it to my usual mechanic to get refunded, charged me a really reasonable price, and did all of that within a single day, the day before Thanksgiving. I truly cant recommend this shop enough. Quality work, honest prices, and with that touch of humanity that you sometimes rely on.

I took my car here recently after getting new tires at a big-name tire store. The tire place quoted $450 to fix a part they said was needed for the alignment. University Shell couldnt find anything wrong, and they even took it to another shop to get a second opinion. They wont charge for unneeded work. I definitely trust this shop!

I took my Hyundai Elantra here today for some brake work. Everyone else I called was booked for weeks, and now Im glad they were. I was told by NTB that I would need all brake pads and rotors replaced, along with my rear calipers (and a long list of other less important things). The owner at University Shell was very polite and he quoted me the best price compared to all of his competitors.After looking at my car, he determined that I didnt need a caliper replacement at all, saving me more than $400. He could have easily pocketed that money since I went in fully expecting to pay for new calipers, but he was honest with me and now my brakes work great for much less!I almost felt bad using the 10% labor discount coupon on his site since he already had the most competitive price, but he immediately accepted the coupon without any problems and it saved me even more money.If you need brake work done fast and at a good price, I wholeheartedly recommend University Shell.
