I was on a 1600 mile return journey (NY-CO), half way through on the second day it turns out I had a punctured rear tire (f$!&@ing perfect!! I thought “with get home as soon as possible as the goal). The tire was a RFT (Run flat Tire), worried about the different circumstances, I was able to minimize my down time thanks to this place. Regardless of it being just a patch. These two mechanics were simultaneously were performing more in-depth repairs on other scheduled vehicles, while getting my out of the blue random situation solved. Meaning these guys know their stuff because efficiency was present.Myself and it sounds like others would absolutely recommend A.H. Auto Repair!!

A family member referred me to this auto shop. They were very professional, honest, and explained everything in detail. They also speak Spanish which is a plus. Their prices are very affordable compared to most auto shops in the area. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience here and their customer service. You will not be disappointed with their work! :)

After driving to 3 other facilities to get a tire repaired or replaced ( found a nail and lossing air by the minute) and no one could get me in they got me in and replaced in a record time and I was still able to get to work. We were driving from Chicago to northern Wisconsin and started to experience steering wheel vibration. It got so bad that we had to pull off the road and stopped into A.H. Auto Repair. We were greeted and helped immediately. Service was fast, honest and professional. All 4 tires got rebalanced and we are back on the road no issues within the hour. Price came in very reasonable as well. Thank you A.H. for saving our trip!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who has no knowledge about tires, and has all wheel drive cars. It’s better to pay more somewhere else and get same new tires everywhere . Got two of my front tires replaced, only to find out they weren’t the same and didn’t match my rear tires . Wasted $110 including the extra tip I gave. You would think the mechanic would have known before they installed the tires but I should have known better than to assume mechanics know what their doing . If you don’t care about the safety and longevity of your car, and need a cheap tire to drive for some time then go here . If you care about your vehicle and want good tires, good insight on your vehicle, honesty and safety for your vehicle when it comes to tires, then go somewhere else!!

They were awesome! Very accommodating and helped us save a lot of money! They fixed my rim that I thought was no good, rotated my tires, and did all this finishing an hour after they closed. We will be coming back here for all our car needs!

Two Goodyear tiger paws 225/65/17 balanced and mounted lots of tread for $110 out the door. Thats less than one new one not mounted out the door. Will be back whenever l need tires. Also showed me some items of concern but were not pushy about it. Just wanted me to know about it. Great place great service great price. Thanks

Great place, prices, and hours! I went in thinking that I might need a patch on the tire from losing air, but instead they found a nail in my tire and showed me. Total cost was $53 for a new tire and everything (including the air sensor I have on my tires). Only took about a half hour. Was pretty much the only open place at the time (Saturday afternoon) in all of DeKalb and Sycamore, and I really needed it fixed to get back home to Chicago suburbs. Owner was super friendly and helpful!!

Having car problems while traveling, googled this shop. The owner is a great man, he helped me, he was open to us, I wish he was near us. Great service. Was only there for about 10 minutes.

Really happy with the work, they did a solid pre sale inspection, showed me the possible areas of concern while the car was lifted up. They were open late on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend.

Good job at a reasonable price

Bought 2 used tires and paid $106 for both, in cash, a couple of weeks ago. My boyfriend said they werent any good as soon as he saw them. That they will not last me that long because of the tread which were pretty close to going bald. Took my car for an alignment and the mechanic at the shop has said the same. I checked Discount Tires and they have =brand new tires= for $52/tires, which is one of their cheapest, but still.. you get brand new tires!
