I dropped off my MacBook with keyboard and trackpad issues. They didn’t fix either but told me the keyboard was fixed. They charged me $37 and didn’t do anything. The computer is the same as it was. I called and they said that they reset the P RAM, but again, the keypads and trackpad still do nothing. A waste of money.

Very professional store. Very knowable staff. Visited other stores in the past and found them to have criminal backgrounds or not even open. These guys are the only ones that know what theyre doing.

This place is great, wish I would have gone here first instead of going to the scammer best price computers. Basically I bought a “gaming pc” or what I thought was one from best price computers it was garbage but I didn’t know at the time. As my knowledge grew along with the frustration of my computer. Realizing I had been scammed I needed to change out my mother board, CPU and Ram. This guy helped me pick the most power for the best price and swapped it out for me. I have nothing, but good things to say about this place.

Solid Rock Computers is THE BEST!!!! Took my desktop to them for a minor fix, okay, hard drive was about to crash, and they took care of it in record time. If you need computer fixes or help, they are the ones to go to. Thanks so much, guys. Everything is exactly where you said it would be on the new hard drive.

This place was recommended by someone I know. I called and the lady at the front said she was getting someone to help me. She put me in hold for 8mins 26secs. I hanged up and called again. She responded and I told her she left me on hold for over 8mins. She said the store is full of customers, and I should wait (again) while she gets someone for me. So then what did I wait for almost 9mins for? Anyways, a gentleman came on and gave me a swift assistance. I walked into the store 30mins latert pick up my order, only to find the store literally empty. The lady didnt smile or even look cheerful. Giving a 2 star and not 1 star review because of the gentleman.

Charged $300 and didnt fix my Aunts computer. I built a new one for slightly more than what the non-repair cost. Overcharged my mom for a used laptop. Dont waste your money.

Came here first with my laptop, told me it was not worth fixing so I left. All that it needed was a screen. I like my laptop, I have a lot of personal information I needed. You would think they would offered to fix it. Again, I went to another computer was pleased with there service.

I’ve had my service with Starr for over a year now and have no complaints. I get great service for a reasonable price, I haven’t noticed any change since switching from Verizon. I don’t go crazy on data but just updated my account to from 1gb to 6 gb for only $10 more-just in time for some summer streaming! I was able to do this over the phone in a quick few minute call. My husband, Mom, and sisters family have all ditched their providers and are with Starr now! Any problems that have come up have been fixed and managed quickly and explained to us very well! Sorry for the long review but I stumbled across this page and have had a different experience than some of the previous reviews. Thanks guys (& gal that helped me today)! 😁

I have know the owner for years. He is a great person, maybe he made a mistake in his life but he is making it good by supporting local police and fire departments, as well as several other charities that I know about. He even gives to help those who need it. As for his business, I would not hesitate to go there. He is honest! Helpful, friendly, and brings things down to your level. Ms. Jarvis must have had a bad issue, wonder if she even talked to owner or one of the other people who work there? Great computer store.

I give this business a (1), only because I could not give them a (0). I called 2 hours ahead of time but I never got a return call. Thus, I decided to drive over and have them look at my computer as a walk-in customer. That was a huge mistake. They could have cared less that I was in the building. There were 2 employes in the tiny storefront but neither acknowledged that I was even there much less the fact I was waiting while holding my computer in my hands. No assistance or explanation was ever offered. I waited for about 15 minutes while both employees walked in front of me and completely ignored me. If youre busy thats one thing. However, if you simply dont want my business then tell me up front rather than have me further waste my time in waiting on someone to speak to me. Ive been in customer service as a manager for over 25 years. This experience was the VERY worst!

This place user to be a trustworthy caring company. And now seems they want to focus on squeezing the money. Not the same as when they first opened.

I have been going to these people for well over 6 years and NEVER had a problem or a disagreement with them. IN fact they have went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied and have even ordered parts for me that they didnt have in the store. ALL of the employees are professional and take the time to explain to you whats going on and if they say the computer will be ready by a specific date, it is or they explain why. The ONLY time I have seen a walk in that is not dealt with promptly is when they are working with another customer. Not to mention their costs are well in line with the most reasonable in town, I have found very few times that they could not beat others prices by a country mile. The people complaining here are nothing more then workers at other computer stores that are mad because Solid Rock is taking away their business.

I get my service from here, through Page Plus. Guys are always helpful, the place looks neat for a downtown shop. A few weeks ago I had a broken screen on my s5 and they had one laying in the back, swapped mine off for it for cheap and I got it back the next day. Solid move bros.

Staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly with my computer problems and is priced extremely well. A damn fine computer store and will continue to do buisness here. Stay away from any other computer place in town.

If you want quality repairs and service on computers your not going to find a butter place in Defiance for them than D & R computers. Just like any business at times things seem to be a little slow but you have to wait your turn and realize that the Gentleman doesnt have a dozen people in the back working for him. I have had this man build me computers, service computers and have yet to this day find a thing wrong with his costumer service or computer service.

I have had great customer service here for 2 years and this is always my first choice for computer and phone stores in town. Today they helped me quickly get my daughters phone fixed and were helpful as far as questions I had for them.

Went to the store was told I did not know much about computers. The computer I had should throw it in the trash. I just wanted by information backed up was all I wanted. Very rude people here. I would not come here ever again! Poor service. not the way I expected to be treated. Go elsewhere!

I have been a customer for over 4 yrs. Yes when you go in the store they are very helpful. 2 mths ago i traded in my droid for a samsung S7 and i have been in there numberous times. I cant get pic text sent or i cant send them. I was told to turn my mobile data off and shut off phone. That worked for a couple of hours. I have tried to call them.was told i was 1st caller in line and waiting for 20 min only to leave a message. I moved ro Cleveland rhis weekend and my phone wouldnt call in or out. And would just shut off. I moved to a big city and need my ohone for gps. I pay my bill monthly and havent been able to use my data or if can its very limitedI have left 4 messages and no ohone call back. Im very angry and will probably b switching to straight talk or something but fint want to.Shelley Fickel

Dont come here and expect good service. when the owner literally calls anyone who leaves a bad review a fake account I feel thats a sign that maybe you shouldnt try with them. this place was super shifty the entire time dealing with them and would never recommend this place, I thought it was the only computer place in defiance, hence why I came. Dont go here.

Every time I call to renew my plan there phone service is horrible for one its so difficult to get through because they dont answer their phone.and when they do they dont sound to happy at all. Or they jus keep you on hold for way to long. Only if there leader would step his game up.
