I recently had all of my windows and doors replaced with impact windows and doors. Putting up shutters is so boring. The Gulfstream crew knocked it all out in a matter of days. Jason, Dan, Andy, Pete, Ray, Jay and Andrew did a masterful job. The pride they all take in their workmanship and the company is great. I’m in the construction supply business so I’m familiar with issues that may arise with installations in existing work. When the job was completed the end result was impressive. They were all very considerate of everyone in the house and left every evening with the job cleaned up and everything buttoned up. And Eileen in the office was as nice as anyone I’ve ever dealt with. I would highly recommend Gulfstream if you’re considering impact windows and doors. A real pleasure to deal with! Real Pros. The end result was well worth the wait.

At first I was doubtful about the price, it was the lowest of 3 proposals, but we went with them because a friend recommended them. The windows arrived ahead of schedule and the job was done in 2.5 days, the front door took 2 extra days, but it was worth the wait. Jason and his team worked clean and fast, and Henry (one of the owners) came to our house twice to make sure everything was going well. Thank you GW&SD!!! very pleased with the job they did, Recommended.

After more than 3 months to complete the job, trying to charge about 20% more somewhere along that period, leaving my patio door opening with just a plastic cover for 2 weeks, damage patio lawn and floor tiles without paying to repair it or replace them, changing sub contractor in the middle the job and finding a few moths after thru the manufacturers technician that there are problems with the installation I could honestly say this is the worse company I have dealt with. You can find my pictures below and make your own judgment.

Another successful job done by Gulfstream Windows & Doors! We used Gulfstream in our last house a few years ago and had a great experience so it was a no-brainer to call them again when we decided to do the work in our current house. Our installers, Jason, Jay, Corey and Daniel were amazing... very friendly, polite, knowledgeable, hardworking, and did an outstanding job!! In only 5 days they managed to install 14 windows, two sets of sliders (one of which has three doors), and 8ft double doors on our two story house. The owner Henry is great and came by to check on the work and his crew at least three times during the week. I would highly recommend giving them a call if you’re looking to do impact windows and doors! You’ll be happy you did!

My husband and I had a great experience getting impact windows and an impact front door from this company. Our salesman, Terry was professional, efficient, and explained everything to us. Eileen helped with the paperwork and handled the HOA approval for us (THANK YOU). The group of guys who installed everything were friendly, professional, and pretty clean given the mess you can imagine this line of work creates. The owner even stopped buy to make sure the job was done right and was there for the inspection. I highly recommend using this company and will be using them again for our next property.

I was having a problem with my back glass sliding door, called Gulf Stream windows and sliding doors...they were there a day later exactly when they said they would. Very professional. Very nice, actually explained how the door works so I even learned something new...I would recommend this company to anyone but more importantly the two guys Jason and Andy that fixed my door...great people. Would hire again in a minute!

Gulfstream was referred to us from a neighbor. After meeting with Carol we decided to move forward with Gulfstream. Our project was a fairly good sized project with 12 sliders, 8 windows, three slider kitchen windows and two patio doors. The installer Scott and his crew was great from start to finish. We even bought them lunch everyday they were working at our house. During the installation they noticed one of the windows had a crack in it. We are told the manufacture is sending them a new one one reinstall. After the work was completed they addressed a couple of concerns we had in a timely manner.

WOW! I have rarely dealt with companies that truly are incompetent but it seems this is it. After scheduling two separate times with them I waited over two hours EACH TIME and no one showed. I have now had them twice come out to fix the same issue. Each time I call they acted as though my appointment time was flexible and they werent sure if or when they could make it. NO apologies! Even worse...when they claimed the issue was fixed my heavy hurricane proof window slammed back down and nearly got my finger caught. When calling to reschedule they made as though it was not a problem and I was just having some difficulties. When the service man came out to fix it he claimed Tammy, their receptionist, said customers often exaggerate. WOW! JUST WOW! While I should be taking further action I figured I would write this review and share wherever I could so as to warn anyone looking for a competent company to look elsewhere. I have now found Walts Windows Repair that did an excellent job the first time out.

2 stars but leaning towards 1.It has been over a year an my job hasnt been completed. An estimate gets done relatively quickly and then the waiting begins.Numerous visits (closing in on 10), each time by a different installer, where the work doesnt get completed because there is no continuity or hand over. Significant waste of time since you have to be there to let them work in the house:- no ladder (really)- no photos for the inspection- incorrect siding for the screw covers- incorrect front door ordered and deliveredI had never experienced this lack of coordination and poor performance. Not worth considering even if at a more competitive price. If you plan for impact windows installed by Gulfstream, plan way ahead, because hurricane season will come and go (and again) before you it gets completed.

They were the only windows place to call me back the same day. I needed a sliding patio door right away, since my kid broke it with a baseball. They replaced it within 4 days, and its better insulated glass too. Id recommend Carol at Gulfstream!

I began remodel of a Home in Lighthouse Point in December 2016. I started getting bids from different window companies. Gulfstream was the lowest. They also gave me a bid for replacing my exterior doors and garage door which I accepted. So you can see this was a large contract. While we are waiting for the new windows to arrive I decided to expand the work and give them the job of installing a 16 foot wide section of sliding glass doors. The contract was amended to include this work. After the windows and doors were installed I noticed that screws on the front door we’re showing and they told me there were special caps they could put on to cover those. Unfortunately, they lost the caps and said they would have to be ordered. Also, they lost the screens to go on the sliding glass doors but promised me they would re-order them. After the work was finished I paid almost the entire balance of the contract, withholding approximately 10% until they got a final inspection. That was in March 2017.Months dragged on and they never got the final inspection. Nor did they ever bring the caps for the screws on the front door, nor did they get the screens for my sliding glass doors. I began calling them through the summer of 2017. The owner, Carol, told me that she couldn’t get a final inspection until I got my sheet rock finished inside the house. .In late August I was at the Building Dept of Lighthouse Point and I asked the girls if Carol was right, i.e. that I have to finish my sheet rock in before I got an inspection on my windows. They said that was ridiculous, that it was actually easier to inspect the windows before the sheet rock was done.I called Carol at Gulfstream and told her this. She completely did a turnaround and said yes, I know that, but we were holding off on the inspection because you asked us to.What? Are you kidding? I have waited all spring and summer for this. She assured me she would get out and have the windows, sliding glass doors, and the garage door inspected. This was now September. And oh, I forgot to mention that my sliding glass doors leaked all through the summer and that rain was coming in through the corners and onto my floor inside.Soon after this I got notice from Lighthouse Point that the original permit had expired. That’s how long it had been. They told me that I would have to pay a $70 extension on the permits. Finally, last month, Carol goes to order the inspections and she discovers that there’s no permit for the additional work that I hired her to do on the sliding glass doors. She calls me and asked me if I got the permit? I said no, I had nothing to do with the permitting. She said well, that was added work and you should’ve gotten the permits. That of course is ridiculous. I also reminded her that I never got my screen doors, I also told her that the sliding glass doors are still leaking and water is coming in the house. It is now October at this point and I am in Utah. I tell Carol that I will be returning to Florida on November 9 and I asked her when we can meet. She said between 8 AM and 830 on November 10. I fly to Florida on the ninth, and yes you guessed it, I go to my remodel house at 8 AM and nobody is there. I text Carol and she says, and I’m not kidding, oh something came up and we had to go get some doors at another place and will be by your house later in the morning.Really, you couldn’t have texted me that her called me earlier? I sat and waited until a quarter after nine before they finally came. This time she brought her husband with her who then got in my face and started arguing with me because I was simply trying to tell my frustration over this whole mess, especially the fact that they had no permit to do the sliding glass doors. Believe it or not, I finally had to order her husband off of my property because he was yelling at me! At that point I headed to my attorneys office and that is the end of the story to this point. I will have to let you know what the resolution is someday.
