THE BEST PAWN SHOP DOWNRIVER HANDS DOWN, especially if you are looking for a firearm, they are very helpful, they can help you find what would best fit you and point you in the right direction for what you’re looking for, they will also work with you on price as much as they can and make sure you walk out of their door with a smile on your face, they have an amazing amount of inventory also, much more then I’ve seen in any other shop around, these guys do their job with passion you can tell they’re not just showing up to “work” I know my new place to shop from on and I would proudly refer them to anybody. If I could give more then 5 stars I would, excellent shop!

Just left this pawn shop it was an hour before they closed I wanted to see what firearms they had. The guy behind the counter acted like I was a bother to him.... they do have alot of firearms and some accessories. I asked the guy a few questions he had some magazines he couldnt even tell me what the magazines were for. He acted very tired and irritated that I was there and for somebody who sells firearms with as many as they have you would think he would be a little more knowledgeable especially about what he has in stock. I gave them two stars only because they had quite a few handguns and long guns. He made me feel uncomfortable from the first minute I walked in. Very high priced especially for selling something used he acted like he totally didnt want to be bothered. I dont think Ill go back ever again. I like to have conversations with people when Im buying guns and I like people who are knowledgeable especially if Im going to drop anywhere from $500 to $1,500 on something. Disappointed he doesnt seem like a gun enthusiast he just seems like someone who sells them to try to make money. I understand thats what a business is about to make a living to make money I think Ill just stick to that actual gunshops from now on.

Went in to buy a grease gun that I found on offer up, I was happy with the price, and before I left i was told it worked. While i was in the store i tried to pull the barrel plunger back but it had so much grease in it that it would not pull more than a few inches, so i tried it in the parking lot just to see if it would pump grease and it did. i got home cleaned the barrel, and put a new 25 dollar tube of synergy grease and primed the gun and made sure it cleaned all the old grease and only new grease was coming through, and that worked no issues. so i put the coupler on the zerk fitting and pumped some grease and to my surprise theres a hole in the hose where it meets the gun and it leaked all over. The reason i didnt see it before was because there was no back pressure. I let them know and they ask how much the hose costs, so i gave them a part number, only for them to say its sold as it and theyll give me store credit, which is useless to me.

Worst pawnshop in the world everything is overpriced they try to rip you off they claim items are more expensive than they really are. Go to a real pawn shop like the one in Garden City they even have this cool mobile app we can put stuff on lay way. Plus they have a more variety of items and they’re not cheap in an expensive ones I like the one at this place. Don’t waste your time with going to this place they’ll be shut down soon enough
