It was a busy busy Sunday afternoon. The tables were filled. My tea was organic tea bags (of my choice) steeped in hot water. My friend had a delicious bagel and coffee - it took her about 15min to receive. We noticed the drive thru was getting waited on first, therefore slow service inside. Which, on this particular day, was not an issue for us.

Really nice place to hang out or make some work over laptop, very quiet even is a coffee shop.Just when you enter and crossing the door you perceive the delicious aroma of coffee and spices is amaze-tastic!I would like to suggest to try The most delicious ice Chai latte tea ever! 5 ⭐️

Its great to have a coffee shop open in the evenings other than Starbucks. The espresso drinks here are consistently lacking in quality or craft. Im planning to stick with their drip coffee going forward when Im craving an evening caffeine fix.

Baristas were knowledgeable and helpful. Coffee was fantastic! Great seating area to curl up and knit.

Jenna at Tastefully Roasted made my very first experience a worthwhile visit to mention. She was able to provide me with the history of the coffee house, the culture of the area as well as really great suggestions for some of the local favorites at the coffee shop! There was coffee, muffins and other snacks to choose from. The decoration, lighting and music gave the place a laid-back and comfortable feel. I cant wait until I get the chance to head out to Tastefully Roasted again when I return to the Dayton.

This is a nice coffee shop. There is a lot of seating, but it was still pretty busy when we went on a Sunday afternoon. There were lots of college students. The barista we had was not the most friendly, but otherwise we had a good experience. The coffee tasted good, and there was a wide variety to pick from. The music playing was good too!

Nice space but the coffee is just fair. $15 for a pound of their premium blend sand it brews a weak cup of coffee.

Excellent coffee shop and one that actually stays open a little later, which is so nice. They made one of the best lattes I have had, and made very good smoothies for my children. I will definitely be back!

Good environment with nice lates and smoothies. Customer service is good. Just wish there were more outlets around the big center table. Plenty of outlets on the side tables though, those fill up semi quickly though.

Good place to chill, drink a hot coffee or tea and study. I loved the fireplace. Very impressed for the first time there. Introvert friendly.

I really have to suggest an iced chai latte with honey from this place. It is the absolute best!

While I do enjoy the staff and food, far too often is my order incorrect. The other day, I ordered a flavored latte and they gave me flavored coffee instead. This is just one example of how more than 60% of the time, something is wrong when I go through the drive thru (due to COVID). I don’t have any complaints about the quality or accuracy of you order and sit inside.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Dayton. The specialty drinks are consistently well made, the drop coffee always fresh and hot, and the slow bar drinks are great too. Very convenient to University of Dayton and Oakwood. Also has one of the nicer parking lots in the area.

Great coffee, not over overpriced. A great selection of flavors and milk alternatives. Staff is nice and it’s always quick and easy. Heads up the lattes are very sweet here for me but you can make them however you like! The drive through is also very convenient!

Tried this coffee shop through postmates for the first time. I would never recommend using any third party delivery service as my total bill was 20.00 even though I only paid 8.00 for two medium drinks. I ordered two iced drinks, but received one hot. I dont blame the restaurant for that though, postmates is always messing up. Mine was a little too sweet but my sister liked hers. nonetheless very good drinks.

My favorite coffee shop in Dayton for years. Ive watched staff members come and go over the time Ive been coming (well before it became TRs) and theyve always been friendly and remember my order, which I think speaks to the quality of management and the training. The cold brew is perfect and the dirty chai latte is out of this world.

Im officially done giving this place 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances. When they actually get the order right, they are fine, but there is no reliable degree of consistency here. Ive begun giving more and more businesses positive reviews due to COVID and people judging places by their online reviews. But Ive been going to tastefully roasted at least once a week since the pandemic started and Im simply at a loss now because I cannot actually guarantee Im going to get what I order anymore. The items I order are straight from the menu and have no customizations. But sometimes they give me drip coffee in my cup when I order a latte. Other times theyll give me an entirely different sandwich than what I ordered. Im just done. While it was convenient, I would never judge it as great.

Ive ordered many times from this local coffee shop and it is my favorite coffee in the area. The coffee and espresso have always been perfectly strong and smooth, never bitter. The food has been fantastic and I appreciate the fair pricing. Doordash also delivers from here.

A fantastic coffee shop in the University of Dayton area. Its a great atmosphere to sit and meet, work, while enjoying a very good cup of coffee. They even have a drive-through if you just need to grab a delightful cup and go.

Please dont be fooled by my photo. Thats my 12 yr old daughter. I am a working mom of two and I work close by. This morning I stopped at this place and ordered two sandwiches and a coffee. I left without realizing I only had one sandwich. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on croissant and a bacon egg and cheese bagel with a medium coffee 2 creams and 5 sugars but I didnt get the croissant sandwich. I quickly went back retrieve my lunch. Only to be greated by a young man who told me he refunded the sandwich and I had to pay again. Mind you, I tipped $1 for my order and paid in cash.

Fantastic Staff, that is always pleasant and NEVER rude.The staff often knows my drink order, as well as other regulars before we even get to the counter to order.The coffee is now a locally provided.Even on the busiest time, the staff is quick and rarely has a back up unless some one like S.E.S. decides to be rude to the staff.U.D. students often flock here during the College school year, and only during peak hours is it a small task to find a seat, not being taken by extra book bags. I have seen book clubs, Sewing group and others gather at this local spot for a nice drink and some fresh pastries from Ashleys Pastry Shop in Oakwood.Another great thing about Tastefully Roasted is the ability for local artists to hang and sell art in the coffee shop.The new paint scheme make the entire place a bit more awake.Only concern is that 1-2 of the leather chairs are starting to get worn out from customers dropping heavy item on the seats.The review by S.E.S. is probably because they are a typical entitled person, that would rather give a coupon than a tip to the hard working staff. ( i have read their other reviews and they gave 2 negative reviews on service industry locations and a positive for a golf club )The comment that I would tip if i saw a tip jar is false, because there is always a tip jar in the window.When I use my credit card to pay for a drink the computer screen prompts a tip to be added. The staff is not RUDE or greedy. That is how the new system is set up. Thanks to one bad review the staff now has to hope that drive thru costumers are smart enough to offer a tip that is not just a few nickels and pennies.

The pour over coffee is excellent if you can come during the hours they offer it.

Mollie Noelle was our fun and exciting Barista of the day. She interacted with us and made our visit extremely fun. I even bought a new coffee mug while here because I liked it, but even at the price I bought it because Mollie was fun. To the boss or owners here, Mollie was amazing and deserves more than the 5 stars.

Very cozy and quiet place to work. Good coffee. The cool things they use local small batch roasters. Its definitely a more mainstream shop. The coffee quality is behind ghostlight and press (Dayton) but definitely ahead of Starbucks.

Coffee is great, nice tables and comfortable seating. Easy-chill vibe. Nice place to meet up with a friend, or to settle in to read or study (just bring your headphones as the high ceilings do allow for the noise level to be a bit high)

My wife and I stumbled across this coffee shop, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The apple pie chai is AMAZING!!! The ambiance is very cozy, and comfortable, and the customer service is EXCELLENT!! We will definitely be back! If you are in the Dayton you have to check it out! You will not be disappointed!

By far the quietest coffee shop Ive ever been inside. It was uncomfortably quiet, I was afraid to talk to my friend. The local art on the walls were beautiful and reasonably priced. The staff was not super helpful even after we stated we had never been in before. We played a game of super quiet checkers, drank our pour overs and left. The coffee quality was above average, improve your customer service and add a touch of liveliness and well be back.

Quieter and more authentic than Starbucks. I go here to get work done, have good coffee or chai, and listen to soft indie-pop music. The other place is all drama.

I really enjoyed this place after finding it in December. The coffees are quite good and the atmosphere is very conducive to meetings, working from a table or just sitting and reading in peace. Very nice store that Id recommend highly.

TRs is fabulous. A friendly college style atmosphere where you can enjoy pastries, good coffee and conversation all at once. The service is always wonderful. Prices are certainly reasonable. If I had to pick one not so great thing, its the inconsistency of drink sweetness depending on whos working, but they are happy to fix something if you dont like it; so not much a problem really.

TRs will always be my favorite in the Dayton area. It was my study spot through grad school and has a comfortable, welcoming vibe. There are a lot of regulars and the knitting club on saturday afternoons. Cozy place with good coffee. They keep Highlander Grogg on drip

The coffee is amazing hands down, but the staff is another story. Some are friendly and some act like your inconveniencing them with your order. Especially if you go first thing in the morning. And they dont open the doors on time. We had to order at the drive thru then circle around to eat inside, because they didnt open the dining area on time. And I asked for an iced latte, they made me a hot one then just poured it over ice which made it very watered down. No apology.

The breakfast sandwiches are good portions and quality for sure. I always order iced americanos from here and they never disappoint. The shots are pulled properly and never watered down. Def high octane espresso coming out of here. Staff is always pleasant and the drive thru is super convenient.

Great coffee, super baristas, and plenty of table space OR comfortable leather chairs for reading. The place to go if you are in need of a location for studying/reading, quiet work alone or in a small group. Excellent baked goods available as well.

The coffee was a good temperature and taste however the girl at the drive through window solicited a gratuity which I found tacky and inappropriate. Had there been a tip jar in the window I would have been happy to leave something but when I handed her my credit card she immediately asked if I wanted to add a tip.

We had 2/lg coffees /2>bacon egg cheese on a croissant never ever have we been disappointed here today must have been karma not good grounds in coffee bacon not cooked all crispy cheese add to it there was none please make it right for us!!

In love with this place! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Its quite large inside see large long tables and comfy chairs to sit in. Perfect for groups and people trying to study. I’ve only gone here a few times but each time I’m never really impressed unfortunalty. Every drink I’ve had hasn’t been that good...I feel like their drinks need to be more flavorful. The staff is nice but aren’t genuine.

Unfortunately, I cant give a good rating. The place was very dirty-- The ladies room in particular. If I find it different, I will repost. I will not stay away -- yet.

Cappuccino tastes line espresso in water only, nasty. My large size cane literally 2/3 full. I know they have to have milk froth but that was ridiculous. I had to throw it away. Couldnt finish it.
