I found JW pastry through google and was surprised to see their 5 star reviews. And google did not disappoint! We ordered my Mom’s 75th birthday with short notice and Chef John was kind and considerate to oblige. I shared to him my ideas of how they cake would be and how I wanted to taste and then I trusted that he would deliver. And he did, exceptionally! Everyone who saw the cake were so impressed and they thought it was a wedding cake! I bought the cake topper separately and he placed fresh roses with glitters on top. It looked fantastic! But the taste! It was not sweet which I loved, it was delectable and savory, and I think everyone wanted seconds and it was definitely gone! I was glad my mother saved some piece and I got to taste it again the next day and it was still moist and so good even the next day.Before getting the cake we also stopped by the cafe and we had the almond croissant and mushroom quiche, and they were also phenomenal. The staff were also very kind and helpful. Beatrice was the one helping me throughout the process with the cake and she’s been very responsive, helpful and accommodating. I definitely highly recommend them! And I already did recommend them to our guests who enjoyed the cake and wanted to know where we got it.

JW Pastry delivered on a delicious birthday cake for my best friends surprise 40th birthday party. Everyone absolutely loved the cake, both the taste and how it was decorated. What gem of an artisan quality bakery. Each bite was full of flavor without being overly sweet. I cant wait to revisit them again and again to try each tasty morsel.They have a cute covered patio if you want a delicious brunch or lunch.

One day, I was craving a guava and cheese pastry. I went here because it’s close to home. The pastry was huge and delicious. I was really pleased with it! Definitely left a strong impression on me.Today, I was craving a cream puff. I normally would drive to Fort Lauderdale but decided to come by here first to check out what they had.Of course, I saw their giant cream puff and I was super excited to try it. Got home, took my first bite, and I was so happy. It was everything I wanted. I love cream puffs packed with refreshing vanilla cream that’s not overly sweet.The cashier was friendly too and gave me a delicious sample of a cookie. Definitely need to come here more often for my sweet cravings.They have large pastries for a fair price. Delicious!

Many delicious pastries, desserts, & even savory eats. We tried 2 different quiche selections, both DELICIOUS works of art. We also tried a dessert pastry Paris which was a complex flavor infusion of raspberry, strawberry, mousse, white chocolate, meringue; in short; a flavor sensation! We purchased for take home the coconut macaroons, chocolate croissant, cranberry scone, almond pastry, & a la minute piped cannoli. I was looking for a bakery on Sunday morning. First visit. Outside green umbrellas helped me locate - helpful. Felt comfortable immediately upon entering- the counter attendant person very friendly and inviting - thank you! The bakery display case very pleasing to the eye - clean and items well labeled. The open kitchen also added to my comfort level- impeccably clean. The coffee was made perfectly to my liking and tasted great. The breakfast sandwich was ecstasy: fresh croissant; eggs made right; the cheese melted perfectly; the packaging maintained its freshness.I wish nothing but continued success. See you again soon!

My mom and I went to have breakfast for the very first time because we saw the reviews. And omg!! Totally worth it. The food is delicious we had the croque mándame, quiche with truffles and mushrooms, cream puff and a Nutella Swiss roll. Everything was absolutely exquisite and the girl in the front was also very attentive and really nice. 10/10 recommend. You’re missing out!!

For anyone around the area or even if you have to make it a trip, this is a must spot to go to. We order some deserts for thanksgiving and decided to pick up in the morning. The ordering process was amazing their customer service is great. Once I got there the smell inside the place its fantastic, we got there so early that we decided to get some extra biscuits to complement breakfast and they are incredible! We drove 30 min to get to it and I would do it over any time. Excellent place!

First day, when I came to JW pastry I tried Lemon meringue (Favorite #1), and I fell in love😘🥰😍. We went crazy and tried a bunch of pastries. All of them were very good. Dont even remember which were our favorite, but I remember the croissants and the Cinnamon Knots were among them.

Besides their simply awesome desserts, the staff are so awesome too! I told them I was bringing their desserts out of town and they offered and took the time to wrap the boxes in plastic wrap so it will stay dry in the cooler and even wrote “have a nice trip” on the box. That is awesome customer service! I love everything I have gotten from there, especially the apple and fruit tarts. Although it may be a bit expensive, they are so worth it! Love this place!

I was initially looking for a place that could do macaroons for a small gathering. The first day I visited the pastry they didn’t have them ready until later on that day, turned out they were only ready u til after closing time. The staff and chef were super nice and let me in just get a set of macaroons to taste. I was sold immediately! They were fantastic. I went home and spoke so highly of them that my bf end up getting a 10” carrot cake for the party as well (he never gets a carrot cake without knowing its done correctly) Everyone commented on how good the cake was and the macaroons were just amazing!Thank you Jonathan, you’ll have my business from now on :)

Great bakery! The staff is awsome too! I got fruit tart, apple tart, creme brulee, cramberry scone, double chocolate cookie, macaroons and 2 chocolate cup cakes. The apple and cream brulee were my favorites, ny daughter loved the cranberry scone, my son the chocolate chip cookie. The fruit on the fruit tart was sooo fresh! I would hope for the chefs to get inspired with some passion fruit 😉 . Overall GREAT BAKERY! Ill be back for sure. Oh! Let me not forget their espresso, it was just the best around the neighborhood, I know my hubby will be there soon for another cafecito. Im so happy I found them! Im extremely picky when it comes to pastries so let me tell you, this is the BEST bakery in South Florida. Their fruit tarts and almond croissants are out of this world. Their savory items are perfect for breakfast and lunch (best quiche weve ever had). Even though we have recently moved, we are still willing to drive 25 miles just to shop at JW Pastry. The absolute best bakery!! They make the best gingerbread cookies ever! My family never liked gingerbread before because we always found them to be cute and not tasty. Johnathan accomplished both and now it’s a tradition every Christmas. This year I also asked him to make a gingerbread roll cake and he delivered! It was amazing! My husband went to pick up our order and was early and our cookies were still in the oven. (Always so fresh)! He had a cinnamon roll while he was waiting and he said it was the best one he has ever had. Now we are begging him to go get more. Oh- we live over an hour away. Worth the drive!

He took my order the day prior and opened a bit earlier so that I could get them fresh in time for breakfast in bed.Yesterday I emailed my order in and picked up 12 fresh pastries along with 2 fresh baguettes for a brunch I put together at home. My husband and I go to JW Pastry every Saturday morning for the past few months and it is easily always a highlight of our week. You can’t go wrong with anything you get there, truly. I also recently special ordered something chocolate for a gift to some people for the holidays and Jonathan came up with these BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS chocolate tarts with chocolate pop rocks on top!!!! Such creativity in all of his work. Hans also makes a mean bacon egg and cheese croissant, definitely try one of those!

Delicious fresh baked pastries and plenty of mouth watering options to choose from! The individuals running the shop were very kind and took the time to answer any questions and wrote instructions on how to reheat the quiche.

I recently discovered JW Pastry and now I dream about their fresh fruit tart. It is outstanding and has the most delicious tart crust with an almond cake-ish layer held in place with a tiny layer of raspberry jam and THE MOST DELICIOUS PASTRY CUSTARD IVE EVER HAD!! Its beyond delicious!! Ive also had their guava cheese danish and garlic baguette, both also amazing. Not only are the products fresh and tasty, the owner Jonathan is very personable and will make special orders. Im hooked and they for sure have a new customer for life!!

I cannot believe I didn’t know this place existed prior to this month. We have tasted several pastries and they have all been outstanding. The berries tart couldn’t be anymore perfect and we ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday last week that was a complete success. I happened upon this bakery looking for fresh croissants in my area and this place had glowing reviews. They deserve every good review.The shop is in a strip mall but the ambiance is so cute. The is outdoor seating with umbrellas for sun protection. Inside all the baked yummies are surrounding you. The is Expresso drinks and caffeine delights but the Baked Goods.I got the almond croissant (it was everything) and the chocolate croissant (good balance of chocolate to croissant). The lemon loaf looked so good I had get it too. The owners were so sweet and patient as I decided what treat to get. They also let me know about the breakfast sandwiches being made fresh and only on the weekend.I will return soon!

Jonathan is the master of cakes. Every specialty cake we have ordered from him has been absolutely delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and the taste is always outstanding. This is the best bakery in Davie. Everything they make has a gourmet touch, both in pastries as well as savory treats. Some of my favorite pastries are their peach and almond croissant and their apple and almond tart. But they have a large selection of pastries, and everything is delicious. And when it comes to savory treats, make sure you try their wild mushroom quiche. It is one of the best I’ve ever had. The combination of flavors is great and the consistency of the quiche is just perfect, super fluffy and tasty. They also serve good espresso drinks, and have a couple of small tables outside the store. It is open daily until 4 pm. If you are looking b the area, I highly recommend you try this great bakery.

Croque Madam was the best that Ive ever had (butter brilliance). Only complaint is the inefficient in-store ordering; Id rather not wait 5 minutes to complete a large order. Id rather have the barista take my complete order than hand me things one by one.
