Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in after noticing a coolant leak. Spoke with Robert. He asked for details of the problem and made an appt for me to leave the car so he could inspect it. The appt day I got a call back explaining the problem- bad water pump- and the recommended replacement. Impressively, Robert also detected other small issues that I was aware of but not too concerned with. Ill give Robert credit- he was not pushy at all and let me decide what repairs I was comfortable with. Ive been going to the Davie Garage for at least 15 years and the service and work has always been excellent. From bringing them used cars I was thinking about buying for a pre-purchase inspection, to servicing and maintaining several cars Ive owned over the years, Robert Tubach and his team have always provided excellent service at reasonable prices. They will always work to find ways to make the repairs at a cost savings to customers whether it means repairing a part rather than replacing it or replacing it with cost-effective alternatives to the typical dealer prices. A great repair shop with personal service thats among the last of its kind. Its a particular favorite among NSU staff and students for good reasons.

I was directed here by a tech that I trust (Jon from Jons Auto Air 600 NE 26th Ct, Pompano Beach, FL 33064). Had my AC taken care of at Jons 2 years ago and you can still hang meat in my vehicle.- I needed someone nearby, fair and most of all trust worthy.Had my vehicle towed to Davie Garage.Before anything took place I was given a pretty good outline on how my particular issue was going to be attacked. Heres what got me... I was asked about the history of the vehicle, symptoms, etc., and Robert didnt say another word. He just listened. Once I was done he hit me with a bunch of questions about the vehicle and symptoms, in more detail.Long story short, a diagnostic was run on it and so many codes came back they stopped writing them down. He explained that one or two things could be throwing the entire system out of whack. He asked for another day. I gave the green light and the witch hunt commenced. They found the problem and all the damage along the way that caused all the codes to go off.Not only was everything explained to me in detail, I was shown. Ended up replacing one major component and two minor components. Actually one, I decided to change the second one since we were already there (my choice).Shes up and running now 2 weeks. Back to normal minus the check engine light and the slue of codes. Man I hate that light.Davie Garage is also one of the most organized and cleanest shops Ive ever seen.The entire staff are so easy to talk to and theyre just happy to help.I really felt at home at Davie Garage.Theyve earned my trust, respect and business.Thank you Davie Garage & thank you Jons Auto Air for pointing me in the right direction!!

Went there for an oil change months ago and before it was time to change it again I decided to change it myself since I was going to drive to another state and the filter was completely destroyed and the oil completely black. The filter they used was bad quality but the service wasn’t cheap. Do not recommend

I recently had my 04 Dodge Ram break down on west I-595. I live in Pompano Beach and was on my way to finish a construction job in west Davie 25miles away from home. While stranded on the side of the road and waiting for the tow truck, I had called a buddy of mine to look up online the closest mechanic to where I broke down. There were a few options but I chose The Davie Garage from what he had found. I called them up and Cynthia politely answered and then handed me off to John. He seemed have a good idea just what had happened from what I explained to him over the phone. Once there I met with Robert and handed him my keys. The next day after a thorough investigation Robert called me back and told me the damage. No one wants to ever hear about an expensive auto repair but he gave me some options so I could save a few bucks. They were Quick, Honest, and There work is Top Notch! Got my Ram back as good as new and the cost of the job actually came out $80 less then what he quoted me. It is so hard to find an honest mechanic that does quality work and has reasonable prices these days. They only fix what needs to be fixed and not unnecessary BS like the other guys! Simple, efficient and honest mechanic. Had to get brake work done on my truck. Talked to Robert and he explained everything that needed to be done in detail, and WHY, which most places dont do. He even explained the leading research on what was currently recommended for my vehicle. Also he didnt try to up-sell me or charge me for unnecessary parts, which was refreshing compared to taking it to a chain shop. Icing on the cake: fixed my squeaky doors free of charge, without me mentioning it.

If you have a Jeep--perfect. They all seem to have multiple Jeeps--and not new ones.They give/show you the parts replaced and you can easily understand the advisability of the repair. And--get this--the owner and the mechanics really care. You can even request the same mechanic every time. Prices are not cheap but are fair.

My cars check engine light came on a few months ago. I took it to another garage 3 times. Each time they would work on it the light would go off for 1-2 weeks and then come back on again. I decided to try some place new- Davie Garage. The 100 diagnostic fee was well worth someone taking the time to finally get to the bottom of the issue. Davie garage fixed the problem in 1 day! Robert is absolutely fantastic and I give my highest level of recommendation to anyone wanting an honest, compassionate, and economical master of mechanics. My car broke down a week ago and Robert made sure to inspect it as soon as I brought it in as it’s my only means of transportation. Unfortunately for me, the head gasket blew and radiator unrepairable so I was looking at $2500-3000 worth of repairs and replacements for a 2002 Camry. Robert told me bottom line that it would be advantageous to salvage it and use the money towards a new-to-me used car. He went above and beyond and looked up the price point with my Title information so I knew what I would receive. Robert didn’t charge me anything for the inspection and superior level of customer service. There are few locally owned and loved businesses that operate the way it’s supposed to be and Davie Garage is #1 on my list. They even offer free car inspections for new car purchases! I will use Davie Garage for all my vehicles and give a 5/5!

Guys beware of this place ! real quick took my F150 just to get a diagnosed of the misfiring I was having for $99 a bit exp but I said fine lets see whats really wrong with my truck. Get there at 9am and did not hear from them for the next 5hrs, really for a diagnosed ! Anyways, Robert the owner tells me on the phone about the misfiring and that the catalytic were bad that he was going to run some other test to see, I said fine let me know since I have to pick up the kids from school. Now remember about the $99 !Robert calls me at 5 telling me that the truck is running fine and that it was going to be $360 for the job...that he went ahead and change the coils that were causing the misfire..what ! without my permission, this guy never called and told me about this, he just went ahead and did it . I think thats illegal, you cant do that buddy. Wait it gets better, when I drove it there it had the misfire but drivable, guys the truck was a complete disaster when I pick it up, I almost couldnt get home from how bad the engine was running. Now I know why he wanted me to come at 6pm when it was time to close so I couldnt go back and tell them about how bad the job they had done. SHAME ON YOU ROBERT and DAVIE GARAGE . GUYS BEWARE !

Davie Garage, by far, is THE BEST auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. They are beyond fair and honest to a fault. This is the only garage I have ever dealt with that has not tried to over-sell me on a repair. They go out of their way to make certain the repair is done in the most cost effective fashion possible.Last summer my sons truck was overheating and I took it to Davie. The repair was going to be expensive- the truck wasnt really worth it. The Davie people refused to accept payment for the diagnostic work they had done, recognizing that I was faced with the unexpected expense for buying a college student a (another!) car. Class act.

They are very pleasant very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I would recommend all of my friends there.

STOP!! Horrible!!!DO NOT Trust DAVIES GARAGE!!The owners name should be Robert Ripoff . I have never written a review before but I had to write a review just to warn people. I wIll never come back here ever again! Robert, the owner, at first was real friendly. He seemed genuinely concerned and sincere however its an act people!!!Robert is the most deceitful business owner I have ever met! I took my truck here because a friend heard this was a good place.I had a problem with my brakes ) I thought). I was the only one in the waiting room so I wasnt sure why I had waited 2 hours which I found strange. Finally robert comes out and proceeds to tell me I need new brakes and rotors and my motor mounts needed to be replaced. I thought to myself thats impossible Then he quoted me an outrageous price. My gut was telling me something Isnt right here. . So I left and went down the street to get another opinion . I explained the same problem WITHOUT telling them i just came from Davies Garage. Long story short, I waited 20 minutes and they ended up telling me I just needed my rotors resurfaced. I then did ask them if they saw anything wrong with my brakes or with my motors mounts. They checked and came back and said I was not at the point where i needed to replace my brakes. And as for the engine mounts the mechanic took a second look and said theres nothing wrong. He asked me what gave me the idea that there was something wrong? Thats when I told him about Davies Garage. He said that he was not at all surprised. Hes been known for deceiving customer. I wanted to let as many people as I can, Dont GO TO DAVIES GARAGE. THEY Dont CARE ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING BY THE CUSTOMER. As a business owner myself I do understand that you need to make money but I would never think of lying to my customers to make more money. GREED GETS YOU ONLY SO FAR.

I own a GM roadster with SIDI Turbo engine. It is no longer in production and few shops know how to work on them. The GM Dealer will not touch it for less than $500. I spent $2,000 in two Miami shops and they could not fix my AC and Turbo. These folks fixed both for $340. Wait it gets better.... Autonation Toyota told my wife she needed a new AC compressor on her VENZA a $1,5000 repair. Took it to Davie Garage for 2nd opinion and they fixed it for $140 (it was a $40 relay switch). Two words from me....INTEGRITY and HONESTY.
