I went in to possibly switch to Verizon from a different carrier the employees were nice and helpful I was told the wait was 3 hours ans after that 3 hours the next appointment was 5 days away I think this is unacceptable to expect someone to wait 5 days for a phone appointment.

The store is short handed as many businesses are right now, due to government payments to not work. Sue, the manager, was able to resolve my problem while scheduling new customers as they came in the door. There was a 2 hour wait with only 2 folks there to help customers.

I had an excellent experience here buying my daughters phone. I got treated like trash at the waterloo Iowa location. This location in Davenport treated me and my family amazing, answered all our questions in great detail. We went when covid was getting better. The store had great precautions. The sales rep was top notch at your location.

Just switched over to Verizon this week and Sam and Damon were incredibly helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend this location. Was perhaps the most enjoyable phone carrier store experience I’ve ever had. I highly highly recommend these guys!

Same thing as all the other recent reviews. They switched their store layout and now it’s hurry up and wait around for someone to even acknowledge you’re there. Then, wait some more. Expect at least 60 minutes minimum when going here. It’s not somewhere I look forward to visiting.

My wife and I went to the Verizon store this morning to look at new phones and see about switching back to Verizon. We were told there would be a 10 to 15 minute wait and asked to wait in the car; they will call when a rep is ready for us. 25 to 30 minutes later, we leave because we have other things to get done today. An hour and 20 minutes later, someone finally calls and asks if we still need help. You have got to be kidding me. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I rely on Verizon for my job,(Walmart Transportation)...I walked in today and said I was getting my own plan,and a new phone, to get off my family’s plan customer for 23 years ($72,000). all she gave me was a piece of paper and a number to call. I asked what if I want to purchase a phone as well, she said call the number then switch to the new plane then come in after. So I went to Best Buy, they gave me a new phone and got me everything that I needed within a hour. Why would Verizon not help their own customers. And why do I have to go to Best Buy when Verizon could have done their job. This is wrong in so many ways. But I feel it’s just this store. The store in moline got me a phone case and even offered to clean my phone because of the spots it got from the previous phone case. The customer service here at the Davenport store really sucks, if you hate your job just quit.

Nobody in the store except the 2 employees in front and was told it was a 45 min wait. (The person walked in behind me and she was told was a 20 min wait.....) Listened to the staff talk about what they were going to do for the weekend and when I had a question about pricing (no prices were displayed) they finished their conversation first. They only got 2 stars because Im a verizon customer. Had I been shopping to switch over, I wouldnt have chosen them. I left and purchased my phone elsewhere.

My son and his girlfriend made an appointment. The task was to switch from another provider to Verizon and get new phones. After 1 1/2 hours. Nothing got done. They had no phones in the store and then could not assist them with an online order either. Really if online is the ONLY way to get a phone and switch why do they need stores. We have been US Cellular customers for 20 years and always use in person service and have never spent that amount of time and still got phones. My son might switch but I won’t be.

Trouble service, no customer service from Verizon. Got my new phone back in Feb of 2020 and both the phone and service have been sub-par. I have complained and complained to customer service and basically got Were sorry to hear you are having problems, have you tried turning it off and on again. Went in and gave them a chance. Still having the same issues with the phone and service. Switched back to AT&T and I havent had any of the issues I was having. Much happier with AT&T

You wait in line for someone to acknowledge youre there. You wait in line to get into their electronic queue. Then you wait until your turn comes up. Then when they finally get to the front they try to pawn you off on the website. A sugar sweet tone of voice doesnt make up for the fact that I have to dedicate my whole day to waiting in multiple lines. Its just ridiculous. Implement some best practices so perhaps you can take care of your customers. Just a though.

Honestly had the worst experience here. The salesman told us that we could get some stuff free that we ended up having to pay for. We were able to return the hum but still had to pay a 60$ fee. He told me that the iPhone XS was apart of a deal to get an extra 300$ off my phone. It was not apart of this deal so now I owe more than I was told I was going to have to. No other store will touch it because this store messed up. I can not go in there since I have moved. The corporate office put a bandage on the fact that i lost 300$ switching to Verizon by giving me 75$ off my next phone bill. I wouldn’t go here. It’d be easier to do it online considering we spent almost 3 hrs there that day.

Was here for over an hour waiting to buy a new screen protector & had a few questions on our bill. Long story short their computers loose data on people regularly so many others that came in after us. They did not care when approached.Finally left went into Target bought screen protector in less than 5 minutes. Where else do you go maybe even to spend $1000 on a new phone, they make you wait for hours & are not the least big sorry. Good thing their phone service is great, they would never make it on customer service!

Even though it was hard to get an appointment due to covid 19 once I got there they were knowledgeable and friendly worked fast and no questions asked return. They helped each other in the store and had nice conversation with me while I waited. Definitely made up for the extra hassle of the covid protocal.

Been here 3 times this week, waiting over an hour every time, and not being greeted. Staff was very unfriendly. We came in the 3rd time to get galaxy buds after purchasing 2 new s10 plus phones the day before, and waited 1 hour and 45 mins! Weve been Verizon customers for 12 years and feel this store needs to hire more employees or prioritize customers needs more efficiently. Wait time is an all day event!

Not all Verizon locations are the same. I appreciate the low-pressure and efficient service I receive during each visit. There is usually a bit of a wait, however. So if you go, you will need to plan for that. But its worth the wait!

It was packed and it took a while for the two guys who seemed to be doing nothing to come and help us. It might have been our perception but as we watched we couldnt tell at first if they were customers or employees. They helped us pretty quick and easily once they finally approached us.

Employees arent not welcoming, helpful or attentive. Long wait. Staff hiding in the back. Took over a half hour just to get a return label and I was next when I walked in the door. Lindsay eventually handed me a box and told me I was all set and I just needed to find a FedEx. No apologies for leaving me waiting while she was in the back 15+ minutes doing who knows what. Not customer service at all. Seemed like she didnt want to be there at all.

My brother, who has a disability accidentally blocked my number. After trying to help him over the phone I suggested he go to the Verizon store and they could probably change the setting in 30 seconds. He makes a 25 mile round trip and they wont even help him. Tell him they dont do repairs in store and it needs to be sent in. He depends on this phone for communication. What are the staff here for if not to serve customers? Oh wait, theres no commission when they have already gotten his money so they could care less if he has a problem.I tried calling the store several times to talk to a manager, and no one answers the phone. After ringing a minute or two it comes on and tells you to hang up and try another time.What the heck is going on here? Since they are unwilling and unable to help him at the store where he has his plan, I am next going to the corporate level to see what they have to say about it.If I could give you zero stars, I certainly would. Im glad that I am with US Cellular so I dont have to deal with nonsense like this.You should all be ashamed of yourselves for acting this way!!!!!!!

I dont know if the others were defective or if there was technique involved but the salesperson I had today got this one perfectly installed. All I want is a little honesty and integrity in business. At this Verizon store, my experience leads me to believe that you will find neither. My wife and I went yesterday to 1) get two new cell phones and to 2) switch my plan over from AT&T. Chad, our agent, seemed helpful enough. He talked us through the plans (rapidly, but he answered our questions). We decided on phones and I switched my service.All is well right?Well, no. Chad told us that with our plan we get all sorts of freebies - a car charger a piece, phone protectors and covers, and an external battery a piece for those moments when you need some juice and arent near an outlet. He laid them out on the counter, asked us to pick our free gear. We signed. We paid.We wondered about what we paid for.So, my wife called Verizon today to go through the receipt. The customer service representative was very nice and she explained that we each paid $100 ($200 total) for the free gear. We filed a report, but I wonder if this will be taken seriously. Why do I believe that this isnt Chad running rogue, but a part of their training - something they do.Not off to a good start Verizon.

We took our daughters broken Gizmo in 2 weeks ago and they told us they would overnight a new one the next day. They sent us an empty box. We called back and spoke to a manager who said she wasn’t sure what happened so she reissued a new one and said we’d have it the next day. They sent another empty box. It’s been 2 weeks we still have no Gizmo and we just went into the store with our 2 empty boxes and waited over an hour to talk to a manager. The staff was unfriendly by the way. And this other manager told us that they actually changed the process and we have to send our Gizmo in first in order to replace it. She is the “solutions manager” and could do nothing to help. I give this store the lowest rating possible. Go with another company.

Matt is AWESOME!! He is always helpful and knows what I am asking for even if Im not explaining it the correct way! I was with Sprint for 16 years almost and Im so glad I switched over to Verizon! I dont have dropped calls, missed calls, roaming charges and weird charges on my bill like I did with Sprint! Version has been good to my family and they ALL help you understand what the new plans are and how they can be a life saver when you have a Gamer for a Son! Oh and PS! If you go to the Grand Canyon. The ONLY network that will work there is Verizon!!

This is the better of the two Verizon corporate locations in the Quad Cities today. The staff (especially Byron) is good, striking a balance between customer and corporate needs.The wait time can be very long after major phone releases and at times when there are lots of consumer sales (like Christmas, graduation, back to school, etc.) but the staff works to make the wait fair and tolerable.

My 86 year old grandmother got bamboozled by this store today. She simply needed a new number (she got her number ported back to a landline). All notes were in the system from a previous customer service call, but Nikki neglected to take the time to read them and somehow ended charging us for a whole new line. When I spoke to customer service they said there was no excuse, so I called back to the store to provide them with feedback. The store blamed customer service. When I complained about customer service and the store scapegoating each other THE MANAGER HUNG UP ON ME. Unbelievable.

If I could rate a zero star I would. This store use to have some really nice and helpful people. Now its a sad and useless shell of itself. It use to have on site tech now it doesnt. So it just a bunch of sales associates that now how to push phones but not how they work. If theres even the slightest chance they will just push off to call tech support.P.s. your response to this review doesnt even make sense. That location is only sales. There no tech support there at all otherwise my issue would have been resolved. Nice robotic answer. So no even if I did walk through those doors again, nothing would change

I went to go upgrade my phone. The wait wasnt too bad but the gentlemen that helped me seemed like he didnt want to go through the effort of selling me the phone. I had to ask to hear about any promos they were having and then when I purchased my phone the rep told me how to activate it and it sounded pretty simple. I specifically asked if my content (apps, contacts, photos, etc) would transfer when I activate the phone and he said yep should all be there after the set up....wrong. a lot of things were not there and he didnt explain how to back anything up to my Google account before activating my new phone or anything. I just wish that he would have taken the time to help explain the process to me

I have always loved this store since they moved it from the mall! Been using this place forever to pay my bill! I know 4 people that work there and they do excellent work! Been with Verizon since I ever got a cell phone! And this store has been a big part of that!About a month ago we switched my fiance who is now my wife and her family from Sprint! It was a long process but they warned us about this but let me tell you the guy and the person he was training made the switch for them to my plain to update them to New phones and put us all on the new unlimited plan! Transition was very smooth and made us all happy especially my wife since she can get impatient at times! She is so glad she made the switch and this store has has a lot to do with it! She is so happy as well as I! Wish more stores were like this one!!!

I was having major malfunctions with my phone, and after going back and forth with people on the phone for a week, I finally went into the store to talk to someone. Michael greeted me right away and was so knowledgeable and kind. He helped me instantly get a different phone ordered and even printed out a receipt from a prior purchase for me. I tried to get a new line of service with the momto z4 but was able too due to being out of town. When I asked if I could pay the full sale price of the phone they told me that I couldnt because I needed a 2 year contract. I told them that I wanted a 2 year contract but I wanted to pay for the phone up front. They seemed to not understand the concept.When I told them that I could do it at Best buy they straight told me I was wrong in a laughing mannor. We never seem to have much luck going into the store here. We talk to someone on the phone who tells us one deal and are given another in the store or are told they cant honor what was told to us over the phone despite the person on the phone giving them instruction on how to do it. Its almost always packed so they want to rush you and your issues out the door. Most employees seem to have the bare minimum of training for fixing technical issues but the highest training possible to sell useless items in the store. Its quicker to buy there so you can walk out with your new electronics in hand but its smarter to get them directly from Verizon, not a retailer.

I went to the Elmore store today, 10/13/17, around 4pm. I asked a salesman, with extremely long dirty nails, to assist with an upgrade. He gave me a price that was due today for an additional $60 than it was online. I understand that I owe the $32 balance for my old phone and the $30 activation fee, but I asked him what the additional $60 was for and he didnt have an answer. He was simply trying to rip me off and make a quick $60 bucks on me. I told him no thanks, Ill just order it online and save $60. What a joke these people are. Total scam artists.
