A good variety of products. Kroger usually will have what youre looking for, when you cant find it in another grocery store. Its also convenient to have the liquor store inside this store too.

Without going into to much detail my payment method was refused. They would not accept my card.I was on limited time I had all my children with me ages 6months-4 years old. I was trying to get groceries for the week and this was the only time I had to shop in between my job schedule and when I would have a working vehicle. When they refused my payment because I didn’t have my ID. Even though I had other proof of identification that they refused I started crying terrified of how I would feed my 4 children. I had no time to go to other stores this was legit my only time slot. So when they refused I started to cry and walked my children out of the store. I could then hear the cashiers laughing about how if I could afford to take care of my kids I shouldn’t have them, and how crying wouldn’t get my way with them. The store manager refused to even talk to me. When I called Kroger customer service while waiting in store I could still hear the cashiers giggling about how it was pointless of me calling customer service. the store manager refused my money but customer service made it right by issuing me a 75 credit.While rechecking out the cashier Kathy was extremely rude to my husband. She made sure to make it known to him and everyone around him that she wouldn’t accept the card. We done knew this but we were trying to use the credit Kroger customer service gave us. She was throwing my items in the bag talking how we were wrong for calling customer service we should have just left. Blah blah blah .This will be the last time I shop at this location. Kroger customer service A++Store manager and cashier Kathy (maybe she is a manger not so sure) treat others the way you would like to be treated. After the way you all treated me today you have some serious karma coming to you.Just a heads up if you are a low income family or a family on a budget they will judge you. They will belittle you. They think it’s funny to make you cry.

Why is there never anything in stock? Always running out of Capri Suns constantly and the frozen meals section is ALWAYS out of stock of everything. Last few times I’ve went, they are always out of PB&J Uncrustables as well. It’s just a tad bit annoying at this point to try and even grocery shop here.

This location in danville is by fary favorite location ever!!! They always have what I need in stick. The prices are great. The produce is great. I love this location. This is my go to store for groceries!!!

Kroger is Kroger... I personally see nothing special about this Kroger, compared to others in the state. Employees can be kind or neutral, products are usually in stock, always full of helpful employees, comfortable Temperature throughout the store, affordable prices (standard Kroger prices). Flowers are always healthy, good always at or near its prime. Discounts on food and other items theyve had for a while... The pharmaceutical section is always full of the common over three counter medications, and occasionally unique ones, pharmacy is affordable with prices comparable to those from CVS. Ice cream is great! Normal Kroger things... One thing that sticks out to me is that the Danville, Kentucky Kroger location is always extremely clean, despite the fact youll never see employees cleaning...

Used to be semi-decent. Then they started forcing people to wear masks to receive service. Meanwhile if you have to go to the bathroom, the facilities are disgusting and quite a health concern.

I can usually save a bundle here and good meat

Edited for update to 4 stars from 2. (2 Stars) I’d really like to give more than 2 stars but this Kroger is always incredibly busy. Like over-the-top can’t get around the isles busy. They need to expand it or open another store because it’s just not a good experience despite everyone being friendly. (4 Stars Update) Despite the cramped store and always being overly busy (yes, always) the staff here does their best to keep things as good as possible, all things considered. They ran a few drawing contests at Christmas and other small things to try and be a part of the community, so for that I commend them. PS- I go to your other stores in Nicholasville all the time- they are brand new and huge - you can build better Krogers I see the millions and millions you pour into those stores and theyre not half as busy as Danville!

Click list is a joke. I figured picking up at 10 am would be faster but Ive been here 25 minutes so far with people still in front of me. Its really pathetic.Not to mention workers wearing only face shields. Thats stupid. Now their saliva can drop dust,my groceries.

Yesterday I was tired and just wanted my favourite Kroger bubbly. Love that stuff. Missed diet coke but Kroger seltzer water ahhh. Liz in your store patiently and pleasantly (stress pleasantly) helped me.

We shop at this store a time or two a week. We buy lots of organic food and this Kroger has a great selection. We have been very impressed by a young man there named Spincer King.

Due to aluminum shortage Pepsi is not selling Sierra mist. Dang thats my coffee. Hate sprite and 7-up. Guess Ill be drinking water from now on. Well my one reason for going to Krogers is done with, SMH.

I love Kroger! Just wish this location stocked the shelves more. Any sale items are out of stock almost immediately. Can never get the private selection bacon. Wish it stayed open 24 hours too.

What happened to Campbells Pork and Beans, two cans of Lucks Fried Apples(there are other brands) (Stock Glory) they are delicious. There was a buzillion varieties of Pineapple, whats with that and the bread shelves look like they had been bombed. Will I return? Sure I remain hopeful.

Recent changes in Management show lots of improvements. Two complaints...why are the top shelves in the freezer section so deep that it is impossible to reach items in the back? Also, at Noon on a Wednesday, only 2 lanes open and lines were 4-5 deep. Cleaner, neater and very friendly.

Waited for my order for pick up and they told me to come back in 2hrs and prices are so high now and ma up front who check u out is not nice

This store is clean and well-stocked. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as the best produce section of any store in town. We especially enjoy the olive bar :)

Good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, and a wide variety of items to meet everyones needs. Its really nice that the price of a gallon of milk is much cheaper than it was several years ago. Also, the fuel station is one of the cheapest places in town to buy gasoline if youve earned your fuel points.

Store is great and I love Kroger stores ; but, their self checkout leaves a lot to be desired. I actually walked out without my groceries. Wouldnt let me scan my Kroger coupons which I couldve lived without but it wouldnt let me pay. Help is on the way it said. It was 10pm and I understood that not many staffers left. But, no one came:-(. Sorry, for leaving those groceries to be restocked. Positive note, most staffers in the isles were pleasant

Great customer service, prices good, have a lgood selection of just about everything. They even have a good variety of organics, a deli and I think a bakery. Clean and organized.

Beat place to buy groceries....When you combine the huge selection with awesome sales and coupons you can save a ton of money compared to big box down the road. Plus you gain fuel cost savings as well.

It was my first time shopping there. They had a lot of different items, more so than in Louisville, Ky. I do not know how often they do this, but it seamed 50% of the items in the store were on sale (and I do not mean jacked up prices that were then marked down).Good place to shop.

I just had an absolutely humiliating experience here. I had some nonperishable food items I wanted to return because I was not going to use them. I called beforehand to ask if that was allowed and I was told it was not a problem. The man, LT, working the customer service area was absolutely horrible to me. He was very belittling and even got the manager to check on two of the items because they cost around $10. The total of the gift card was $23 for 4 items and he treated me as if I was returning hundreds of dollars worth of food. I left feeling like a garbage human being for following their return policy and no longer feel comfortable showing my face at this location.

Kroger is the place to go! I love Kroger; I worked there as a bagger once, and was investing money as well as time into the store. I love the whole concept of Kroger, and would love to see WalMart put back in its place as a simple retail store!Jeffrey L. King

Really not a good place. Scan and go is a horrible machine. If yu dont put it in the bag it wont allow you to scan another item. To top that off, you start out with one person to watch you and then 7 more show up to observe. Employees look as though they are more focused on talking then doing their job. Piss poor.

Love going to see what they have on sale I get great deals i like the meat its fresh i like the people that works there they are all ways nice i get my medicine there to so I dont have too run all over town

The gift card 4XFuel points advertising is extremely misleading.Just spent $150 dollars on a gift card and got Zero fuel points.Spoke to the manager, and he said nothing he could do.Very disappointed in Krogers.

All the workers at Kroger are very helpful. They will ask if they can help you find something when they walk by. One time I saw the female manager getting frustrated with a deaf gentleman she couldn’t understand and acted like she didn’t want the hassle. She yelled at another worker and told him to deal with this. She was very rude and unprofessional. They workers there do a great job in spite of the management.

Needed deli meat I ordered two different types of cheeses and some liverworts the lady was super fast.

Kroger is a great place to shop for groceries. Good produce. Good selection of meats and an excellent dessert section.

Use to work at this Kroger. The job was great, and management was mostly good. Mr. Reeves is still there, but I believe there is another who is store manager. I have had one or two run-ins with her, and as a physically disabled Navy Veteran found her demeanor, as store manager, to be lacking. She told me she knew I worked there at one time, when I told her, and the way she said it, and the reason I was talking to her led me to believe she might have a little prejudice toward a veteran who is disabled. I spoke to Mr. Reeves today, Feb, 1 and as always hid mannerisms ate very congenial.I am not sure she is still there; I forget her name, but I do remember HER!

Yes i was in DANVILLE Ky store went to check out and the Boy at the check dropped the cantaloupe i had picked out and busted the cantaloupe and had the nerve to ask if i wanted it he was on the express lane closest to pharmacy not happy with this experience at all might be my last time shopping there. Kroger is very responsive and up to date grocer. They always have everything we need and the service to make us feel like friends.

Used the clicklist, was told order was 100% correct got home the taco kit which was the main thing I ordered was not there and the $5 off 24 pack of diet Pepsi coupon didnt work I didnt realize this till I was at home ready to fix the tacos for dinner had to hire somebody to take me back to the storeto get the taco kit its a small thing but thats what weve counted on for dinner its hard to make tacos with just lettuce hamburger and tomatoes and sour cream. This is not the first time they had made errors its getting more frequent I loved the clicklist pickup but its getting irritating.

Best sushi I had, bought a cart full of them. Baby octopuses are delicious!

I have only had good experiences at this Kroger in Danville. We only shop it four or five times a year however every time has been great.

If i could rate 0 stars i would. Terrible customer service. Employees are very hateful and arrogant. Would not recommend going to this location. Id much rather go to walmart. Or drive 15 minutes to the Harrodsburg Kroger. Absolute terrible. A complete joke.

Great prices on some things

We like the fact that we can earn fuel points to save money on gas purchases. However there are several items that we cannot find any longer such as Weisenberger spoon bread mix, Tetrazzini helper, and some other things that they probably ought to have a team of researchers figure out what Wal-Mart has that they dont.

Good clean store with good prices and selection but you must essentially have a kroger card which is free.

Pharmacy staff are not exactly knowledgeable and do not double check your insurance

Big friendly staff not a fan of the prices or the crammed parking always very busy...compare prices over unit prices and quality and quantity of other stores...the store is more apt to cater to medical and elderly and maby singles or couples with no or only one or two kids...to be frank.
