Ahhhhhh, a throw back to the good ol days. This place feels like a old school neighborhood grocery store that you just do not see any longer. Love it and would love to see more like it.

Great lunch and supper trays $6.09. chicken. Fish.hamburger steak with gravy. Veggies mAc n cheese. Banana pudding. Great corn bread. Good grocery store too.

Piggy Wiggly is 👌. They have great meats and veggies always very fresh. The best part is definitely the plate lunches. Home cooking very cheap. It is a local secret.

One of the only supermarkets in my area that you can find country stuff like hog jowls that is already sliced and hoop cheese that you cant find it anywhere else in the Danville Virginia region I strongly recommend if you want to go back to the country era you can pretty much find it there when it comes to food that you grew up with

They have always had good prices on meats.

I have been living in ringgold va for over 30 pluss years. I always went to the pig but not any more ad i came through the door i had my mask in hand ready to put it on. One of the cashiers prompted me twice with an attitude to put my mask on. I informed him that i didnt have the mask in my hand to eat it, i brought it in to wear it. Not to mention 10 feet away the cook had no mask on. After i went to the front desk that i have been using for over 30 years to check out i was then told, not asked, told i was not to use the front desk. Even though i had close to 10 items. The manager was determined that the guy that i did not want anything to do with in the store was going to serve me. I told her i will not buy anything he bags. She said if you dont like it leave. So i did, i am reporting this behavior to the district manager and i will never go back to this store again. I am also going to tell everyone i meet never to go to that store again. Seeing as no one was there i must not be the only one they insulted.

I love this place the food is excellent and the service is great. They have the best cooks this side of Virginia. The rice pudding is to live for. The yams 🍠 is the yamist I ever tasted 😋 it makes me want to shout! Take a moment and stop by you will not leave disappointed.

The cashiers are awesome. I shop there every week and love this store.

Piggly Wiggly Danville Va has gotten messy and their deli presentation of foods in their hot foods items is really bad. They have hired some very unfriendly staff. I would suggest they get better people in the community are talking and I am sure their business is suffering. You cant cook food at 7 or 8 AM and still try selling it at 4PM.

This was more of a discount grocery store. Very few name brand items, and the off-the-wall items were price like they wanted to keep them. This is one place I will not return to

Deli food worth the trip!

This is obviously an older building, but very clean and the staff is very friendly. We found what we needed for a good price and we didnt have to hunt through a bunch of non-grocery options.

Extremely rude manager who yelled at me across the store while I was on the phone. As I’m writing this he still doesn’t know what my issue was because he hung up on me when I tried to call and discuss it.

Very high prices on name brands. But considering theres no other grocery store nearby -the prices are going to be higher. Very basic store. Some unique items and foods. Cashier was very kind. I was in town for the race last weekend and staying next door at the Best Western. Went and got some fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy and it was fantastic. I wish I had got the pork chops because those arent available up here in Indiana in a grocery store deli cooked.

The best grocery store EVER. Small enough not to wear you out...fully stocked. Dollar aisle rocks! Friendly down-home employees who are real. No clerks who think they are too good for regular working folks.

I got tothis store all the time and buy 100 dollars worth of beef. I called made sure they had to drove 40 mins and when i got there they said they had it but they have done cleaned up and wouldnt do it this is at 3 oclock in the afternoon meet dept is open til 5 manger in the meat department was very rude and so was the onwer of this store will never go back

Groceries are higher price than Food Lion but they have a great meat department. They will also cut the meat you may want if its not already out. They also slice country ham if you need them to. Other places that sell country hams dont usually slice them.

Went to the deli this morning after work, 2 hot wing plates blk eyed peas/corn and roll, the other one with green beans/corn and a roll...I like to go early in the morning when all the food is fresh and hot...And I like their selection of meats and produce too☺

Vere helpful

Piggly Wiggly is the classic American supermarket. The people were helpful and friendly. Prices were average but they a always have the brands you cant find elsewhere.

They have some good deals you just have to pick and choose what you want.

The plates from rhe deli is very good. I can eat there everyday as long as they keep good cooks.

I love going here. Everyone is nice and the owners are great! They are good people to work for, also.

Great prices..clean store .and friendly employees..very pleasant place

Prices were very very high and the cashier looked at me like i was an alien. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Plus if you need your bags doubled they charge you .20 cent a bag...we bought things in boxes and they needed to be double bagged but i refuse to pay for an extra bag.
