Kevin, Steve and the whole team at Blackwell are great! I went in with a particular model in mind, but after test driving several other models over the course of 3 days, I ended up with something completely different. And, I love my Kia Soul! It is great on gas, so it makes going to work affordable since I drive over 400 miles a week. There is more room inside that you expect. My husband is 62 and he fits comfortably. The price fit our budget as well. Im so glad the Blackwell team encouraged me to try it out. They were so patient and kind! You are the Best!
We had a great experience buying a low mileage 2013 KIA Sportage. Almost all of the transaction was handled by phone and email, since we live an hour and a half away. Once we were there, the whole process took about an hour. Everyone was super friendly. I will check their inventory the next time I am buying a car
They do a good job as a team. They have always been honest and up front anytime I have been there for service and I appreciate that. They were the only folks that were able to diagnose my Jeep and get it fixed after several others had tried. They now take care of the service on my new truck as well (even though its a Ford). All in all good group of folks that will shoot you straight.
The process was so smooth I was still in shock when I drove off the lot in my 2021 Kia Rio sport! I love my car. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I never owned a Kia before but all of my friends that own them said if they had it to fo all over again they would buy a kia. I have a friend who has hers serviced like clock work and even spoke highly of the service department. This is why I purchased a KIA and I am glad that I did.

Stay away from this dealership. I purchased a Camaro SS, credit was ran and I was approved. They were supposed to get the paperwork ready. They waited 2 days and when the paperwork still was not ready I was told by the salesman they had found an issue with the car and it was no longer for sale. I called the Manager 4 times and he would never return my call. I finally reached Mr. Adcock by phone and his dry response was “sorry we have decided to wholesale the car” i asked what was wrong with the car and he said “i dont know, i am going to wholesale it” i asked him to find me a similiar car, and he tells me “There are not alot of low mileage manual camaros in this condition” he did not have to say anymore, apparently they were offered more for the car and sold it out from under me….. Be aware!!!

Booked a test drive for 2022 Kia Seltos on Saturday evening. Drove 2.5 hours from Virginia only to be told that both Seltos they had are sold and that the test drive wont be possible. Most frustrating part was that I received a call the morning of the test drive to confirm if I was still available for the test drive. Worst experience for a place that is proud of getting new customers with recommendations from existing customer base. If they continue with such service, I doubt theyll get any new customers.

Working with sales, management, financing, and the lender has been an overall great experience. I purchased a GREAT vehicle, a GMC Terrain with only 23,000 miles, in perfect, like New condition, at a very good price. I am looking forward to working with Blackwell for future vehicle purchases.

The engine on my 2014 Kia Sorento locked up and had to be replaced by Kia because it was still under warranty. Blackwell Kia returned my phone calls (which some of the Kia dealerships did not) in a timely manner and was very helpful through the whole process. Crystal Prevette was excellent to work with. She got a loaner vehicle for me as soon as one was available and she kept me informed through the process. They were running a little behind because they had several more Sorentos with the same problem, but they kept me informed. I met the mechanic who put the engine in; his name was John Thompson. He was very nice and knowledgeable. So far I have had no problems with the new engine. I was very impressed with Blackwell and would go back to them again.
There had been a recall on a part on the 2019 Kia Sportage purchased at Blackwell Auto,Danville, VA. When I phoned for an appointment I was greeted very kindly, the representative at Blackwell checked and the part needed to be ordered. She said she would call when the part arrived; she did; scheduled an appointment right away. I took the vehicle in, again greeted very kindly, no waiting for them to get to my vehicle and the service was finished much more quickly than I had anticipated. Also,met some very nice folks who were there getting their vehicles serviced. Extremely pleased!!

It took 3 and a half hours to get my oil changed and when I asked for some sort of compensation for my time spent the manager who came to assist was not suitable for her position her customer service stinks i will never be back for service. The parts manager is better to deal with.
I was not satisfied. Oil change but didnt reset. Air was low on tires didnt but any air in them. What is wrong with u all. U all use 2 b the best!
To make a long story short, this is the last place you would want to purchase a vehicle from. The staff is nice but the cars are horrible. The day that I bought my car the check engine light came on and it was nothing but problems from then on. They only repairs that they wanted to do was minor but when the transmission went out they wanted me to pay half of $7,000 and I only owed $9,000 on the car. The owner was being an a** about the situation and we never came to any terms. Never will I purchase another car from this place

Called to schedule appointment for 2 recalls on my vehicle. I was told parts would be ordered and they would call me to schedule appointment when parts arrived. I received a message that parts arrived and to call to schedule appointment. I called back and had to be transferred several times. I verified with 2 different people that the parts for both of the recalls were in. Appointment was scheduled. Went in for appointment and after waiting and repair was completed, I was advised only 1 of the parts was in and only 1 repair was completed. Discussed with staff that I verified with 2 people that parts for both recalls had been received. Day after the repair on the 1 recall I received a call from them stating part had arrived. Called and they tried to scheme for the same repair that had been completed the day before as the part had just arrived. How was the repair completed yesterday if part just arrived today??? Now I’m questioning if it was even repaired. Still have to wait on part for 2nd recall....poor communication among staff.

Blackwell is a good dealer. I waited years before writing this review. My salesman (Kermit) went out of his way to get me the car I wanted with all the options and color I wanted. Car was 200 miles away and they had it delivered to the dealership. Drove the car for years racking up 180,000 miles with no issues.. Highly recommend Blackwell.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I got my back brakes replaced and they didn’t put the caliper bolts back on. I rode around since April not knowing they were missing until June when the noise became louder. Then I go to get a oil change just to find out they have rigged that up too. I’m FURIOUS 😤

Had a terrible experience having my 2021 Kia K5 serviced there. Spoke with the scheduler and she assured me they had the software to do an alignment on my vehicle and scheduled an 8:00 AM appointment. When I arrived they had no record of my appointment nor the software to do the alignment. Complete waste of time. Spoke with another employee and they stated they were going to contact their Kia certified technician and be in touch to inform me when they would have the alignment software. Over a week later and I still havent received a call from anyone. Terrible customer service.Update: I called and left a message at the number listed below over 2 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a return phone call.

Normally my oil change experience goes rather well. Especially since I have to bring young children with me every time. However, on this occasion I noticed the sticker reflected the year 2020 instead of 2021 which means I have to lug children back to a car dealership during a terrible pandemic to remedy the situation. I am not happy about this situation at all!
I made an appointment to have an oil change 2 weeks out and I received a text message on Friday at 5:30 pm notifying me that they needed to reschedule….my appointment was on Tuesday. This is highly unprofessional and inconvenient, especially after purchasing a $70,000 Ram. I recommend reading the Yelp reviews for a more accurate and updated review status.

This dealership was very upsetting and disappointing. Crystal Prevette, was boldly deceitful behind my back. She made arrangements and totally and callously threw away a year and a half commitment I had with the finance company and threatened Royalty to pay storage when I was coming in to set up a payment plan and if she mentioned to me that she may start to anticipate storage fee she couldve mentioned to me and I wouldve removed my car and fixed it at a later date. She had other motives.
We had an amazing experience purchasing a vehicle here. From the time we got there and spoke to the salesperson, picked the vehicle we wanted, went thru finance, and hit the gong it took less than two hours!!! Everyone there was extremely courteous and professional. They made us feel like family. We will always purchase our vehicles from them, i dont care how far we have to drive to get there!

Feb 2019 I walked in at 3:30pm and walked out after 6:30pm with a new 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman Classic. I think the entire sales staff and some of the service staff stayed until I was done. Very proffessional. GREAT truck at a GREAT price. I have had it almost a year now. I have done some upgrades and love this thing this Ram more everytime I get in it.

He stated when I got myself together to come back. I went back Friday an spoke to Donny Jones an I was told I needed 3000 to 4000 before I could get ANYTHING OFF THE LOT. I DIDNT LIKE THAT. SO. THAT WAS THAT.. BUT I SEEN THE APP FOR BLACKWELL CHRYSLER SAYING A LADY PUT DOWN 10 DOLLARS DOWN ON A CAR AND DROVE OFF. Its a lie.

I had contacted 23 dealers to place a special order for a 2021 Telluride. Blackwell Automotive was the only dealer of these that treated me with respect and was willing to help me. A lot of these dealers will not special order these models because they are extremely hot and if they do they ask about $10k over MSRP. So I drove 2020 jeep renegade and feel in love and with the warranty and it was so nice that nobody pushed any vehicle on me or pressured me into anything . This was by far the best buying experience I have ever had.
