My wife and I visited this Montblanc store on Friday July 9th 2021. We were greeted by Justin upon arrival. Justin was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about all Montblanc products. The items we were looking for were not available but Justin took down our information and contacted the corporate office to try to locate the particular pens we are looking to purchase. Justin took his time to answer all questions we had even though he knew he was not going to make a sell that day. He spent about one and one half hours with us. That is excellent customer service that no one can deny. I would highly recommend this store and Justin as your sales associate. Justin went well above and beyond what was expected of him to make us feel like we were the only customers in the world. We will definitely be visiting this store again and will ensure that Justin is our sales associate.
Ive seen consumers define extravagant products they like as high end but I havent seen a brand use it to describe their own business. High end is simply a synonymous label for expensive. Theres some nice products here but Ive seen similar quality commodity items from Target. Theres nothing niche about Montblanc anymore from either a technical or art perspective. If your goal is to show you care a little about quality and have no sense of value, this is the brand. The stuff here is outrageously priced. Id be scared of judgement from others owning any Montblanc products now. Its sends the message that youre either stupid rich or stupid fiscally irresponsible. Simply put, you can buy nicer items from Target for less.
Justin and Robert were amazing, incredibly helpful and super informative! They both helped me find the perfect office pen and everyday purse pen. Cant wait to go back to get more fancy pens. LOVE this store!
I just left the Montblanc store at Northpark Mall and the nicest gentleman just helped me. My older pen I brought in was giving me problems in that I couldn’t get a new refill to extend when I tried to write with my pen. This young man took his time and tried different ways and things to make my pen work! And he did fix my pen problem. Thank you sir for being so patient with me and my situation, you young man are an asset to this Montblanc store !!!! Thank you again.
My experience at Montblanc was wonderful. I will denote that Montblanc is on the expensive side, however the few items I did purchase, I felt I purchased quality items. Miss Vasquez was my Salesperson and she was excellent. Professional and educated me on the Brand. She answered all my questions and I never felt like I was a nuisance.
Excellent customer service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I hoped to buy a wallet as a gift to celebrate my friend. But, unfortunately, I arrived at 6:01 after closed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.So, I just ordered from online shop😭😭😭I couldnt get into thier store but it looks nice.
Im an amateur pen maker and I have many fountain pens. I really wanted to go in try out first hand and see if I like the pens enough, was going to put it on a Christmas list. I went there and they seem understaffed which was fine. I waited patiently browsed the store. Finally, I was able to get someone to let me try one. I tried it out apparently I was supposed to write the art of writing. After I tested it out very gently. The associate ripped of the page .. only I wrote on and tore it up..seemed fairly rude. I wanted to like this company, maybe its just this person...,but not sure Ill be coming back. Disappointed oh well it was a good pen but must be a marketing thing. Status symbol.....
I was referred to Ms. Carolyn by a friend and was not disappointed! Shes very professional and I felt like I was her number one priority. I will be getting all of my Montblanc items through her from now on.
I recently visited the store to purchase Christmas gifts for several family members. Although I was the only customer in the store, the one male and female worker did not greet me. Furthermore, they never asked me if I needed help, but proceeded to follow me around the store, as I smelled cologne and viewed the different pens. I finally asked the female worker for a specific type of refill for pens, and she acted as if she had never heard of a pen refill. I decided to leave, as it was evident both workers did not want me as a customer. I tried to think of every reason why they would not want to service me, and as I was leaving, my suspicion was confirmed. A young Caucasian couple entered the store, as I exited, and were immediately warmly greeted and offered assistance from the workers. It is extremely saddening to have experienced this blatant disregard for service, based on the color of my skin. Luckily, I was able to obtain the names of both workers, and filed a formal complaint. However, I am still waiting for customer service to contact me.
Robert is amazing. Truly a caring sales associate who engages with his clients. This rating is actually for him. If your a collector of luxury goods of any kind, you know how important it is to have someone who works to curate your collection for you. Always on the look out for certain pieces that are hard to find and keeping you informed of the new items that will expand your collection. If only I had all the money in the world. The pens speak for themselves; I lean towards fountain pens in particular. I also have a pair of sunglasses and several inks. Robert always knows what I want and respects when I have to pass on his recommendations. The best! ❤️
I just purchased the Montblanc Urban Racing Spirit Slim Document Case. Bernardo Breziner was the associate who was very knowledgeable, engaging and helpful. Wonderful experience so I will be back.
Montblanc owner beware this company must be cutting back on customer service and product quality. You would think buying such a unique high end writing instrument there service would be exceptional. I have owned Montblanc writing instruments for over 20 years. I have bought over 20 pens for various people, associates, and love ones. Here recently I have lost a little confidence with their service and product. To make a long story short my pen cracked two years ago and I paid for this pen to be fixed somewhere in the estimated range of $180.00 dollars. Two years later the pen cracks in the same place knowing this, it has to be a defect. There wanting to charge me another $180.00 again. You would think they would fix it and move on. The bad thing about I can’t get anyone to call me back including the store Manager Wendy… Also I have initiated every contact. I drop the pen off the end of August beginning of September. I tried reach out to them on 9/28/16 to find out the status of my pen. Complained to the customer service department they told me they would talk to the Store Manager (Wendy) and have her call me. Still haven’t received a call 10/6/16
High quality items here but overly pushy staff. If Im shopping there I obviously know the quality, esp if I ask for the price of a pen, your response is $2000 and Im fine with it...just let me look without bothering me every 2 minutes please!
Visited the store to advise about my defective Star Walker pen, but unfortunately you can feel the arrogance and cockiness from the employees since I was not dressed as nice as they are! She was interrogating me about where and when I purchased the pen as if I stole it!!! Since I did not buy it from there, they where not much of help and their attitude was horrible.I ended up leaving the pen there since my time is too valuable to deal with that kind of people that they think they are better than the consumer that spends money at their store. You can get much better help online and other avenues than having to put up with entitled and arrogant individuals like that lady with glasses and short hair there.Nonetheless, me and all my followers and friends will no longer do business with Montblonc Brand.
The phone call alone made me change my mind about going there in person. The lady (Melissa), that answered the phone was arrogant, bitter and mean. She interrogated me with question about where and when I got my pen. When I told her that it was a gift, she continued to ask me questions about the authentication of my pen. The least she could have done was to advice me to come in a see it. If I have to drive to another state to do business for my pen, I will. I will not step a toe in that place due to the horrible way I was handled over the phone.
I couldn’t even shop here. The scented AC smells awful and made my allergies flare up in a matter of minutes.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I am very satisfied with my visit and with the quality of my experience as well as the writing instruments and timepiece I left with.
I will never ever buy a Montblanc pen due to the service I received from this store. I purchased the limited edition JFK fountain pen and want the nib switched to fine, the sales person said that it would not be a problem. They informed me that the pen needed to go back to Germany to have the nib exchanged and would take 6 - 8 weeks, 4 MONTHS later I still do not have my pen. I kept getting the same old story of how their new computer system would not release the nib from customs. I am sorry it does not take 4 months to fix the computer system and what type of company does not have a backup in-case something goes wrong. They sales people and manager took something that I was looking forward to and made it the worst experience of my life!!
Do not waste your time here, that’s my advice. Worth buying from the competition even if it cost $1000+ on top of their cost. Worse experience ever, ordered a pen for my husband’s birthday which is today and who knows when I will be getting it. I selected pick up at the store versus the shipping option and it takes just as long if not longer, actually much longer since selecting shipping there’s an option to expedite it. Deceiving website and customer service, you receive a confirmation email with no date for pickup or an estimate date for arrival of the product. Went in to see if I could pick it up as originally planned and person that helped me was lazy to try any kind of help. Customer service didn’t try to help at all and only kept repeating that the item was non exchangeable or refundable when I never asked for that. I just wanted to get the actual item and instead of focusing on a solution for the problem they focused on the problem and made it even worse.
I showed up in Jordans and workout gear - not really CEO material. I was prepared for the worse based on the 2.8 rating this boutique has on Google. I am happy to report, however, that I was treated with the upmost respect by all. Heres to closing some new deals!
Ordered $1,800.00 worth of products and called to get a copy of the receipt and very bad service. Who ever answered the phone did not have any information which is fine but needs help handling customers. You are selling high end pens or writing instruments as they call them so I expect better service.
I have purchased a number of items in this store, I probably will never go back. The sales people and the owner are very rude, they are not helpful and their attitudes seem to be, I dont care if you come in or not. Several years ago when I first went to this store, the staff was very kind and helpful but the last the last three years things have changed and they dont have a friendly staff anymore. I was there today and bought a refill for an expensive Montblanc pen and two young men were there and they was not helpful at all. I should take the refill back because it was not really the one I wanted.
I was looking for a fine pencil/pen store.. After reading the reviews on here i will not be visiting this location. sounds to me someone needs to wise up on the customer service.. So sad! i only gave it a star bc i couldnt do less...
The worst customer service, bought a pen and 3 months later was peeling off, took it back and they said I had to pay $100 I said ok lets do it, when the pen got back I got a text message saying it was available to pick up- I went all the way to north park just for them to tell me that they were close for the day! left had to call back for them to make sure it was there and ask for them to give it back to me that day! finally after 2 trips from McKinney to Dallas I got the pen and I had to pay $107
My friend and I walked in looking to buy some oyster grey fountain pen ink to put in his new fountain pen. From the start the lady at the counter was very rude and disrespectful. She did not make eye contact with us and you could tell she thought we shouldnt be in such a nice store. It is important to note that my friend and I are both high schoolers and I am of the Mexican descent. I feel like we were discriminated against solely because of our age and my race. Anyways, when it was time to check out my friend pulled out his credit card, And put it on the counter. He has a weird situation where the bank accidentally printed out his credit card onto a debit card template. So it is a credit card printed on a chase debit card. He has used it successfully numerous times on food, clothes, and other purchases. Every single time it has worked as a credit card. The lady at the store refused to treat the credit card as one and said, and I quote, if you are going to steal a debt card, you may as well try and buy more than 6 dollars of ink. She then proceeded to slap my friends card onto the counter. I was astonished that she would accuse us of such a thing, and with that we left. I have never been treated in such an offensive, disrespectful way in my life. If I could I would rate this store 0/5 stars.
I wanted to write a review about this specific location about my personal experience w/this boutique. After reading others reviews, I couldnt agree more with them. The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. I have had a couple of bad experiences and sad to say I continue to return because this is the only location in the DFW Metroplex. Once was to purchase a wallet and I had them bring out about 4 different ones as I was undecided... I wanted to ensure I made the best decision (after all, it isnt like I am spending $50 here for a wallet - they are expensive). The staff seemed bothered really that I was asking them to take all of these out for me. I felt like asking them, Do you really want my business? The other experience was when I was taking in my pen for repair. The manager told me that my pen was a fake because of a chip on the pen cap. I know very well my pen is authentic and was offended by her saying this. I could not believe it and wasnt about to argue w/her about this. I sent my pen in to the Ft. Worth repair center directly (rather than using the boutique) and they fixed it for me. Anyway, it is sad to say this as i truly love the brand but his location really needs to step it up in customer service.
The staff here is very rude and not helpful. I was buying a gift for someone and stated several times I wasnt sure what to get and may bring him back in later if he didnt like the item I chose. When I was checking out no one bothered to tell me about their very strict return policy. No returns and exchanges can only be done within 14 days of purchase for store credit. Its absolutely ridiculous and the return policy should be clear and employees should tell customers. When I went back for the exchange the woman there was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I dont think Ill ever shop this brand again.
Awesome products and awesome staff!
We went in looking to buy some fountain pens. Walked around the entire store and neither of the two employees greeted us. For a so called high end store, customer service is not good. We took our business elsewhere.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t deserve a single star.
A delightful conversation with the salesman and very helpful with my rollerball questionsThank you
I been here 3 times or more and all times just bad Customer service and due to that I have spent my money somewhere else or online instead better service.
I recently bought a pen for my husband for Xmas. I gave it to him early and he didnt like it. I go to the store 4 days after I bought it(the pen was not used, didnt even leave the box) and I was informed for THE FIRST TIME they do not do returns only exchanges or store credit. I would have NEVER bought the pen if I knew that. Whats the kicker is that if I bought it online I could have gotten a refund. The store was extremely rude about me even suggesting a return. I feel without informing your customers first hand of the policy is extremely unethical. I know you need the commission but come on. I suggest if you want a Mont Blanc pen buy it from a third party like Macys so if you do get someone a gift for the holidays you have the ability to return it if they do not like the item.
Great service. The lady who helped me was very helpful.
Excellent Customer Service. Samantha went above and beyond assisting me with the proper documents needed due to an unfortunate burglary. Her knowledge of the Mont Blanc product is quite impressive. While waiting, several customers entered the store and were immediately greeted and helped. I highly recommend the North Park Mont Blanc store, remember to ask for Samatha.
The employees are either poorly trained or simply lazy, or both. A couple of years ago, I purchased a pen, and requested the nib be changed (which is a free service within a few weeks of service). I was told that in my particular pen, no additional nibs were available. I again inquired more recently, and now, for a price, the nib was available. When questioned, the employee assured me that of course a replacement could have been done when the pen was purchased, and could not explain why I was mislead. The employees remain rude and unhelpful.
They sound like they dont careNot helpful.
Called to get some information. Very nice and knowledgeable
Montblanc is a good company, the service here was ok.
They do not take returns except for an exchange or merchandise credit. It is an awful policy when you buy yourself one product and receive the same as a gift from a family member. At minimum, the employees should have advised that there are not returns allowed before making the purchase. I would have spent more time trying to get in touch with my parents to see if they had already purchased the pen.I was looking to even purchase a Montblanc timepiece, but I refuse to spend another dollar there.
Excellent. Kind and professional people.
Good selection, but no discounts.
Wendy was extremely helpful in replacing a belt that broke. :)
Wow!! Pricey!! A pen for $400.00
The staff is neither courteous nor knowledgeable.
Good shop.
Spectacular
Nice, pricey
Terrible service, what a shame.
