The best prices on a lot of different types of material. My wife loves it!! Chairs to sit on, so I loved it too!!

Less than helpful. This is a great place with a huge selection if you know what youre looking for. If youre like me and you need help, this isnt the place. I saw a fabric that I really liked and asked a worker how many double rubs. She didnt understand the question so she asked a man to help me. He looked it up in a book and told me 25K. That wasnt enough for what I needed so I asked him if they had anything similar in a higher DR count. He replied no and walked away. Thats it. No offer to help look for something else, no recommendation on where I could possibly find what I was looking for. Just walked away and didnt look back. I walked around the store a bit and then left. I needed 39 yards of upholstery fabric but clearly they didnt need my business. I doubt Ill go back because of the poor customer service I received. But if you know what you need and you dont need much assistance, this is a good option because they have a HUGE selection of really nice fabrics.

Took my vintage wingback chair in to be reupholstered. Had some issues when picked it up but they worked with me to get the problem resolved. The chair is exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful. I would recommend Best Fabrics. They are willing to work with you and it was a pleasure doing business with them..

Walking in, a got so many ideas for my windows. After I finally found fabrics with all the colors and textures I wanted, the staff help me finalize my decision on gorgeous drapery panels!! This was by far the best fabric store I have been to on Harry Hines and Perth Street!! It was a wonderful experience!! This location is well organized and clean with the most helpful staff!! This year I am off to a great start with the help of Best Fabrics, Thank You!!

I discovered Best Fabrics about a year ago. I love the fabric selection and the services they provide. They made some drapery for me. There was a small problem with them. I asked if they would fix them. They didnt hesitate. Not only did they fix them but there was no extra charges & I received them several days later. They turned out beautiful. I was pleased & will have some upholstery work done through them. Highly recommend Best Fabrics.

Not happy with these guys. I got curtains from them years ago. I went back to day to see if I could get my hardware upgraded. Their response was they are too busy to even consider coming to my house to get this done. Mind you, I wasnt asking them to do it for free. I was going to purchase new hardware and pay for the installation. So they are discriminating on the type of jobs they are willing to take? Not caring that I am a previous customer? Thank you best fabric, I will find somebody else.

The salespersons attitude at this store resulted in me turning to their competitor and getting a savings of $400 for 3 pillows. The lady behind the counter was not very helpful AT ALL when I asked her to assist with locating a suitable fabric. She never asked what I was looking for or if she could help but merely made a broad hand gesture and told me that they offered lots of things and I needed to just look around and immediately went back to her paperwork. When I finally found a suitable fabric it was up high and just out of my reach so I asked her to assist with it. Before she reached to get the fabric, she immediately told me the price as though she thought that I could not afford it. I explained that I was well aware of the price I just needed to get the feel of it and compare it more closely to the item I was trying to match it to. She then immediately told me that she could not cut it (I didnt need her to). I inwardly reasoned that maybe she was being so uncooperative because she felt like I was really not going to purchase anything and she maybe thought that she wash wasting her time. Upon a closer examination, I decided to buy the fabric and have her store to make the pillows as well. I expressed this to her and she immediately spat out, The labor cost is $96. I told her that, that was okay. She then added. Per pillow. Throughout the entire conversation she repeatedly made a point of spouting prices at me as if to deter me or to insinuate that I couldnt afford it. There were two things that this lady was unaware of: 1) Once I located the fabric, I had fallen in love with it and had made up my mind to buy it and have her company make down pillows from it and 2) Cost was no object. Her obnoxious behavior went on until she tallied her final figures. Her estimate came up to: $228.36 PER PILLOW and she then went on to say that the price might even go up after she called the fabric distributor on Monday to check availability. I felt that she was definitely padding the price and decided to go to another Fabric warehouse across the street just to compare. Because she was so nasty, she lost my business and I ended up getting the best customer service ever (at her competitor), I am having the same pillows made from what appears to be the same fabric for $285.78/for all three. I felt that she made an incorrect stereotypical assumption about me and she lacked greatly in customer service skills. She was not a very good representative for the company and if deterring business was her goal, she certainly succeeded. She drove me to seek a second estimate which resulted in their competitor having a new customer.

Good selection but very few of the fabrics are labeled as to their composition, so kind of pointless to go if thats important to you.

I would not use these people because they do the orders just like they want regardless of what is ordered, then they will not correct the problem. when you call they all of a sudden can not talk English any more.not a good store to purchase from

One of the best fabric selections anywhere.

This store is the first in a row of multiple fabric shops on Perth Street. BF has an extensive selection of designer fabrics and endless selection of upholestry fabrics, all for decent prices. Thay also have an extensive selection of threads covering just about every shade that may be needed. I found the service about normal for today, friendly and helpful, though they are busy and it may take a couple min to get service. It is nice to be able to brouse without someone standing right behind.The other fabric shops on Perth are generally better priced than even the great prices atBest but their stock depends much more on surplus stock, making it more difficult to find what is desired than at Best. Best seems to have much better prices than the Golden Dor a couple blocks down HH, but again, the GDor has a better selection though not as extensive in the upholestry department.If time is an issue and/or there is no desire to visit multiple shops, you cant go wrong spending the time at Best Fabrics and feel confident you walk out with a good deal.
