Instead of cutting me 2 full yards of what I needed they had 1 yard and some change and wanted to cut a little strip to equal 2 yards. No discounts for that nonsense and completely unhelpful.

Its way more expensive than i thought it could be. They do have a huge variety of fabrics and craft supplies as well as sewing and jewelry making supplies.The customer service at this particular location is great.

Joanns has a wide variety of sewing and crafting needs. You can get great discounts if you use their mobile app. Their employees are knowledgeable and show genuine interest in your projects and will help you make them successful. The Mockingbird/Abrams store was recently renovated and they expanded their inventory.

Love the place.Need some decorated flower pots.Need some of the character materials like Spongebob, Dora, etc.. There are none of these.Need more embroidery printed cup towels.I looked several times but never saw any normal size GOOD Christmas tips for decorating.

I was looking for a specific fabric. I needed 18 yards. I found 4 at one store. The lady who cut the fabric looked up to see which stores might have it. I went on line and found the other 14 at one store and called to verify that they had it. The lady answering the phone looked for it and verified the quantity. When I picked it up the next day, the cashier was sweet and asked what I would be making and was excited when I told her what I would be making.

One of my favorite places to spend some relaxing time so much to choose from 💜 many possibilities.

Let me start out by saying I am not a craft person. The lady working the cutting table was more than eager to help me find would I needed. I had to recushion my sofa bottom. I wanted something hypoallergenic and it was to replace down feathers. They had bags filled with pieces of foam that were nontoxic. She got them all off the shelves while I got myself a basket. I got a bags that were each less than $4.00. So, they are a very affordable, helpful and friendly place.

This location is typically not busy. I visit JoAnn mostly for fabric but lately my daughter has been into sewing so we visit this location to get all of her sewing supplies and materials.

This particular Jo-Anns is close to my house so its very convenient for me to shop here. It is not as large or well-stocked as the one on Forest Lane and Preston. But if you cant find what you want in the store you can always order it online and have it shipped to your house or to the store and pick it up. The staff there has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and if you wait to shop a sale you can get a good deal. They have just about everything you need for crafting, needlearts, sewing or decorating for holidays or parties.

Always found I need the girl in the cutting table all time I went no matter if she is busy always very nice and so helpful I am so happy went go there see her the means I will found what I looking for even more .Thank you Alicia for making my trip to JOANN Pleasant.

Always helpful - accessible for quick purchase and even though smaller than other Jo Ann fabric stores, it has had most things I have ever needed.

I love, love, love this store! Youll always find what you need and then some! Employees were friendly and helped with everything I needed. Next time you are bored and have nothing to do, just take a walk through the store. Youll always find something to do, create or something you always wanted to try! It can be pricey to those on a budget, but they always have sales going on through out the store. My last time there I got 3 big candles for the price of 1!

Miss Jennifer is awesome! This is my long time favorite location in the DFW area but today my visit was met with an unpleasant customer.. let’s call her Karen. (You already know why.) After another customer kindly insisted she pull up her mask that was under her chin, Karen started badgering her about her comment. So as any quality manager would, Jennifer told her she needed to put on her mask. Karen proceeded to shout about how “rude” Jennifer’s delivery was but Jennifer was completely professional despite having to ask multiple times. After Karen finally adhered to policy, she continued to harass Jennifer with her irate disdain. Of course Jennifer could not really defend herself because she chose to maintain her professionalism so I had to go off on Karen myself. It wasn’t until I spoke up that she stopped attacking Jennifer. Then she went on to complain about me, causing an even bigger scene in the store. She was obviously a mentally unstable bully determined to wreak havoc and I can’t applaud Jennifer enough for her professionalism. Even at checkout where Karen spent 20 minutes complaining and holding up the line she refused to wear her mask properly. JoAnn is lucky to have such a great manager like Jennifer. She deserves a promotion for the way she handled the situation!!

It has taken me a long time to be able to wright this. I have a great friend who I recommend to this location who is hearing impaired. The trouble she had here unset me so much. No one was willing to lower their mask so she could read their lips or take a phone to text with her to communicate with her. This infuriated me to the point of tears. I will never come back to this location nor recommend you to anyone. I will go out of my way to go somewhere else. There is no customer service skills here at all. Your people need to be trained in a major way!!!!!!! So disrespectful!!!!!!!

Choice overload. I spent all day trying to decide on fabric. Once I made the selection the staff made me feel confident about my choices. I always enjoy myself shopping at JoAnns

Have a large supply of fabrics prices are a bit inflated but they have options. Dyes on the 9ther hand are lacking but they have the largest supply around.

Wow this place is ridiculous for the COVID-19 curbside pickup. I purchased a measuring tape online and it said to wait for an email to pick it up. I decided to head up there the long way and when I got there about 30 min later the lady that came out asked me when I ordered and I told her about 30 min ago. She said “Oh no we’ve never filled an order it takes 3 days” I replied “really?? Just for a measuring tape that’s sitting on one of your isles right now? If I would have known this I would have got it somewhere else.” I understand the first come first serve basis on fabric cutting and other extensive projects but a simple item on an isle?? Everybody in the parking lot didn’t look happy either. They should let people know this on their site so they have the chance to go elsewhere. By the way they don’t even answer the phone either. I called Hobby Town and Michael’s soon after and they were out but at least they answered the phone and were curtious. Ridiculous!

Either it was slow or reduced staff, but every one still super friendly and wearing face masks.

I had the worst experience ever in my life. The manager is Soo rude. The manager is so unprofessional and she teaches her employees that as well. She has an attitude over a question and then yelled at me across the store.

Joann Fabrics and Crafts is the place to go if youre a Crafter. For people who like to sew and make your own creations, they have aisles and aisles of fabric from beaded and taffeta to fleece for making your own blankets. For people who love needlework, Knitters crocheters and needlepoint there is every kind of yarn, frames and needles that you can think of. For people who make there own jewelry they have beads, clasps, filament and tools. They have everything you need for scrapbooks and photo albums. And on top of that they have seasonal decorations for every conceivable holiday. The staff is helpful and friendly and usually you can get in and out in no time at all.

Its always clean and organized but there are never enough staff for their busy store. Its hard to get assistance, especially on the weekends. When you do get their attention they are always super friendly and very helpful.

This is a great store. Its clean and the staff is friendly . I took a beginner sewing class and the instructor (Amanda) was magnificent. Shes precise while being patient. I look forward to my second class with her. There are items for almost every creative dream out there. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because as wonderful and knowledgeable as the staff is there arent enough of them. I find that any of the stories I go to, no matter what day of the week or time of day, theyre under staffed. Theres usually a long line to get assistance. Once its your turn, theyre great.

They have a very roomy store which has most everything you need for sewing. Their people are also very accommodating when you need advice or want to know where something is.

The older ladies that cut the fabric for you are kinda rude, but the young checkout girl was friendly and fast.

Went to get tulle to make a tutu the first time. I love the place they have great customer services. And they will help you find anything you need. And offer suggestions.

First time in store. All Staff I encounter or requested assistance from were exceptionally helpful & curious. Most if not all Christmas decorations, boxes, candles, etc is 60% off.

I tried to pick up seeds to grow and 1 craft item, 2 little plant kits and another item, bought online yesterday. Turns out have to wait 3 business days for order to be ready. So it’s more expensive to purchase and more time spent waiting after buying here than going with amazon. I’m going with Jeff Bezos next time.

This store has a good selection of items in comparison to other stores of this type I have been to in the past. However on 17 may 20 I gathered what i needed and waited in line and an employee decided to tell me they have the option to not deal with me cause Im not wearing mask. Masks dont stop viruses and i left empty handed over employees opinions about masks. Why does your masks operation depend on me wearing one??? Or maybe the true issue was skin color. Also there is no killer virus just fear and panic bring out peoples underlying hatred.!!Dont participate people!! I certainly wont spend much at Joanns anymore.

Great staff. Small shop. Lots of basic craft and supplies crammed in here. I dont sew, so dont know how their fabric department is. The JoAnns at Preston and Forest is much bigger.

We have what we need

This particular Joanns has more of a variety and better prices than Michaels down the street. Good selection of sewing machines and a lot of different fabrics to choose from. Isles are pretty tidy. There is also an area for classes (but you sign up for those in stores)

I refuse to go to any other Joann location. The staff has always been so helpful and so kind. Even when Im a little bit of a mess, they are always patient, and willing to help.

Joanns is ok for ideal things but they lack most supplies for pattern making such as pattern making paper, tailors tracing wheel, and such. Cant depend on them to have everything I need.

LOVED the class I took here on Tuesday with Amanda. She taught me how make a pillowcase. It came out beautifully! I will be going back for more classes and to perfect my skills.

Perhaps the worse experience I could have experienced ! Honestly if I could give them no stars, I would . It took 4 days to get a email confirmation for some needles . And when said email arrived it arrived at 4:48 pm and not having any general knowledge of when the store closes for curbside pick-up was terrible . I drove from Oak Cliff to pick up needles and was greeted with the signs that the store closes at 5pm for curbside pick-up . Im sure not one customers knows because the employees dont have a clue on how to answer a phone . Im just gonna stick with Amazon from now on when it comes to my sewing needs . Thanks for wasting of time and money ...

Great store for discount fabrics

There are always some pretty good sales here. I buy all my fabric from this place. But especially look for the sale fabric. Sometimes you can get 60% of of a $4.99 fabric!! There is also a big two aile of yarn. Theres also jewelry stuff and t-shirt decor. Idk man. This is just a craft store. The front line can be kinda slow, but the staff is superrrr nice.

My missus and I came in on a Sunday afternoon. The store was very tidy and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We saved a lot of money too! We could spend hours here
